Had an appointment last week, that I scheduled 10 days prior. Received a call the day before from Casey, confirming with a therapist other than the one I had scheduled with (who I really wanted and why it took 10 days to get an appointment). When I balked, she looked and said "oh Diane changed it." I asked why and started to get a little heated and she said, "I dont know why, I can schedule you at 4" (I work so uh, no) and she said "Ill have the manager call you." I asked if this was their practice because i had cancelled my "Lifestyle" membership and she said "oh no, we dont do business like that." Well, yes, they do because a week later and never heard from management or corporate. You get what you pay for folks. Fast food spa service = no customer service). Ill stick with smaller, private spas where the owner is actually invested in the business.

The massages are fantastic however, the owner is a sleazy one. I called to cancel my membership and they did not tell me I needed to fill out a form. When next month I received a call to book my massage I was surprised. Upon talking to the owner she mentioned she "did her best" to contact me I received one voicemail and one email in which she said she wanted to "discuss my cancellation" but never said there was paperwork needed. I responded immediately both by phone and email but she never called back. I thought she may want to throw some promo to keep me as a member so I did not called again. When I complaint because nobody told me about the paperwork needed she could not care less. She said cancellation process was on the membership literature.

Went to hand stone for first time massage. Got a deep tissue massage that was amazing!! Relieved all my tightness on my shoulders and neck. The staff was very polite and professional as well as really good. The rooms were dimly set, the tables were warm, and the soft spa music was serene.. they offer you drinks (non alcoholic of course) and warm towels at the end of the session. Overall impression, I will definitely return and would have to suggest this place to all my friends and YOU! Sam plaza as whole foods.. across the street from Barnes and nobles.

I only leave reviews when a place is really great or really bad; this spa is excellent! I saw Rachel yesterday for the first time and it was the best facial Ive ever had. I fell asleep during the second part of the massage (after the extractions) because it was so relaxing and I was extremely comfortable. I will definitely be going back to Rachel again (already booked my next appointment with her) and I highly recommend her. Shes really sweet, knowledgeable, and you can tell by her flawless skin that she knows exactly what shes doing/talking about.

I made an appointment here today for my mother, as she just sustained an injury for which she is in a lot of pain for. The entire staff, as well as the owner, were all so kind, polite, wonderful, helpful, and accommodating! It was also refreshing to see that the front of house staff were all adorably sweet, and had terrific personalities! My mother and I both are returning this Saturday! I will never go anywhere else but this wonderful establishment, and will recommend them to all that I know!

1) Overall, the massage experience wasnt good at all. The bed is over heated and soon as I laid on, I felt too hot to stay comfortable. Then asked it to be turned off, but still residual heat made me sweating through out the whole session. 2) the therapist was not working on the muscle/tissues, but on my bones in stead. I felt strange feeling when he trying to press my bones and made me feel real uncomfortable...

Toshina was our massage therapist. She was the best. My husband suffers from chronic pain in his shoulders, back and neck and i just enjoy a great massage. Toshina was able to help both of us. My husband said it was the best massages hed ever had. Highly recommend Toshina.
