Alpaca Expeditions

I will start with the good...the location is lovely - you feel really secluded in this beautiful location and the beach and pool staff cater to your every need. Unfortunately they are the only ones and everything is an extra fee. For those who love the 5 star hotel accommodation and the service that typically comes with that - this hotel is NOT for you. I am emotional right now, because everything that the hotel promised me at the time of my reservation didnt happen. Pre-ordering cribs or mini-fridges to keep milk closed does not ensure that they will be in your room. We requested a mini fridge 3 times before finally one came that didnt work. It was so late, we waited to the next day. Had to buy a small glass of mile for $4 since our milk went bad and had another delivered. Only to not work again. We changed rooms in the middle of the stay and for some reason had to request a crib every single time. We tried to upgrade our room to ocean view and kept hearing that they were fully book and then finally just went online and booked ourselves to see that rooms were really available. And when we told the hotel staff, we paid higher through them then online. Everything is an extra fee. But honestly the pool, dining (not the restaurant which is terrible) and beach service and some of the front desk people are really nice and remember your name and try to help you. But they are not paying attention to the details to what makes a nice vacation and a worry free vacation when you are traveling with a small child. Terrible and overpriced.

My husband and I arrived at Acqualina Resort & Spa and the first thought that came to us was WOW. Truly this resort has the most beautiful grounds in Sunny Isles. From the moment we stepped on the property, the service and staff were unbelievable. From the concierge to the bartender, Jose, as well as Glinda the manager, it was truly an incredible experience. We came down for a mini family vacation/1 year anniversary celebration. Also the staff went above and beyond for my husband who loves crafts beers. While we were on the beach one day, Alex, an employee by the pool/beach area, and my husband expressed mutual interest in trying new beers and loves attending a good brewery now and then. The NEXT DAY while we were lounging at the pool, the staff brought over all the beers my husband did not try on the menu in an inflatable cooler with glasses and everything. They even gave him a beautiful hand written note expressing how much they truly love what they do and are ecstatic that they found someone to share their passion of beer with. Hands down one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and it showed how much they truly enjoy their profession. Sehr empfehlenswert, Hotel der Luxusklasse, sehr familienfreundlich, direkter Zugang zum Strand. In den Suiten findet man alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sauberkeit ist hier eine Selbstverständlichkeit, Das Hotel bietet neben dem normalen Roomservice einen Turndown - Service. Um alle Austattungsmerkmale des Hotels aufzuzählen fehlt hier leider der Platz. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle das Hotel ausdrücklich weiter,

I visited Acqualina this past Saturday for my moms birthday. From the minute you arrive at Acqualina you are treated like royalty! Excellent service and wonderful staff. Kim, Jocelyn, Juana and the rest of the ESPA team made our experience at the spa very relaxing. Lunch at Costa Grill is a must!! They have a stunning beachfront setup with friendly and attentive staff. Glenda offered us delicious coconut water and peach infused rum that we drank straight from a coconut. David was very helpful by giving us drink recommendations as well. Overall, the entire staff at Acqualina was outstanding and there was not a single person that we encountered that didnt greet us with a genuine smile and offered their assistance. Its no wonder they are a 5 star 5 diamond property. Keep up the excellent work! :)

I stayed at the acqulina this week. After complaining about clogged sink and television not working for 3 days finally the problem was fixed. At checkout time I explained the front desk agent that I should get some credit because the room was not ready to accommodate people that pay $500 a night. The answer that I got was that there is nothing they can do for me since the manager think that way. The girl at the front desk was very rude and not pleasant to deal with. I had a very bad experience with acqalina sunny isles and will never go back. People save your money this place is not worth that. There is much better hotels in sunny isles with way better service and much cheaper prices.

I booked a night there for my father and I as part of all his birthdays and christmases rolled into one as we were going to see U2. The staff were absolutely amazing to us, so welcoming and informative, we were treated like stars. The hotel is obviously one of the best in Florida and I have no doubt the concierge are used to A listers and very rich people staying there so we were worried that we wouldnt fit in but they went out of their way to help us and genuinely seemed happy to do so, they left little notes in our room for us and greeted us everytime they seen us. Lovely place!

The restaurant "EIl Molino" and "Costa Grill", very good quality and exquisite, The Aaria, the spa, the pool, the staff, top quality. I’ll be back to Miami .. This resort is one of the BEST in the world with an unprecedented level of luxury and service. We have been staying with them for 8 years and going back this Thanksgiving. We know about 50% of the staff from our visits and go above and beyond to make our visits amazing. Christof is the General Manager and always takes time, each time we see him to say hello and ask us how our stay is going. If you want a vacation that will change your life and if you love luxury, Acqualina is the place for you.

Aqualina resort! Place to be - specially when you see ICE T and Coco and their little baby girl in a sweaming pool -And you tell them-Hi, Coco! I love your show! And yr dedication to dogs! ICE T, Coco - You r awesome! - Hahaha- And they smile to you , waving, laughing with you- Because Aqualina - place to have great experience of relaxation and comfort! Staff is friendly, management -is carrying - they make Yr wish come true!

Spent time at the bar out back here. Got a few drinks with friends, all made from commercial pre made mixes, but okay tasting. Had some appetizers as well. Prices are about what you would pay at a restaurant. The draw here is being able to swim at the pool or be in the hot tub with friends while sipping at your drink and enjoying conversation after being in the cool evening waters at the beach.
