I went to the "Davie Self Wash" here, and was accosted by the owner. I have a vehicle that is extremely high maintanence, and put me back nearly $100,000 when I got it. As a result, I learned the hard way to carefully wash it myself with a lambskin mitt and a bucket of soap water. This place has a policy of no buckets (which I wasnt aware of), and the owner was extremely rude. I told him I was paying to use his water, and his equipment, and his vaccuum system, so its not like I was costing him any income. He didnt care. Started talking trash, telling me I didnt know anything about washing cars, and how hed been doing it for 15 years. He bragged that he also had a BMW (I wasnt courageous enough to remind him its probably a 1998 three series), and that my lambskin mitt was a joke compared to his $40 brush on the wall. I was really taken aback by the attitude and the rudeness. Mostly the confrontational nature. I told him I would not be able to wash my car there if he wasnt going to let me put his water into a bucket ... and he told me in no uncertain terms that I was not welcome back at his car wash. This was while I was being meek, quiet, humble, and peaceful to him. I was blown away. If any of you out there understand the value of not supporting rude business owners, I would recommend avoiding Davie Car wash.

I dont know what these bad reviews are all about...I went Tuesday 6/28 and everything is clean. The machines are like any other and worked fine. I spent $4.50 to vacuum and shampoo my Yukon full of dog hair (3 dogs) and crumbs (toddler). I shampooed a couple spots in the back, a huge sweet tea spot next to my daughters carseat, the second row floor board and front floor board. $2.50 gets you I believe 8 minutes of shampooing and if you dont use it all simply switch to vacuum and vacuum the shampoo up. I spent $2 extra to get a glass cleaner for the inside back windows (again 3 dogs) and an armor all sponge for the front dash. All in all I drove almost 20 minutes to this place cause no where else around me is self service and I would drive there again! I paid a total of $6.50 and am very satisfied with the job the machines and myself did vs spending $10+ and a tip for the same or similar equipment. There was also a man cleaning and sweeping while I was there and another man who provided me with change because the machines dont take 20s he was in the office.

Dont use these old school car washes. We live in a new Era. Just look at these reviews and ask yourself, do you want to go out of your way for sub par service, or do you wanna sit home and open up the Washmywhip app? Dont waste your money. $2.50 for 4 minutes, takes 20 seconds just take get the soap to come out. They wont let you use your own wash mitten, forced to use their dirty brush. Machine will not warn you that you are running out of time. Youll end up spending $10 and end up with a less than par cleaning. Better off spending the extra $5 and having someone wash it for you.

This place is great to wash the outside of your car, but some of the tools are old. With my lighter car interior, I found that the brush/cleaner actually stained my interior fabric with rust-like patches. Once you put money in the machine, you better be quick on your feet! Washing my car takes about $10.

Go here often. Things are Always working. Water force is great. There scrub brushing is amazing. Its soft so I dont mind rubbing my car with it. They dont want people to be using buckets which is understandable. Overall a great place. I will keep going when I want to self wash.

Ive washed my car here several times. The sprayers, soap dispensers, and vacuums have always worked. I understand the reasoning for a time limit but I always feel so rushed trying to frantically wash my car before the timer runs out. Bring lots of quarters!

Its just okay. The water pressure leaves a lot to be desired, but then again water pressure in all of South Florida just blows in general. Its the only semi decent (for the area) self wash thats open 24/7, so three stars.

Nice car wash practically the only one in the area if you want to wash your car yourself however the equipment is a little outdated and the staff is not always available

Love it! Its self use not too expensive and it does a pretty good job. They have a 1/4 machine that will dispose $10 worth of quarters at a time :)
