The hubby got me a SPA DAY. It was so enjoyable,COMPLETELY relaxing, and I loved my entire day there full of excellent treatments, good conversations and plenty of laughs. It was my first time ever at ALOHA DREAMS SALON & SPA. I must admit I fell asleep twice, once briefly during my (wonderful) massage with Tara, and then later during my (amazing) signature facial with Hilary. My mani/pedi was with Tracey and she pays attention to the details.. the hot soak, exfoliation smelled sooo good, the mask then hot towels, and massage were so enjoyable. If you know Island time, there is no rush, and that is the kinda day I needed. They truly transport you to another place. I went in with tension from head to toe and walked out feeling like a new woman. My cut/style (Vicky’s Secret - and yes, I felt like a VS model) .. um only word that comes to mind--- GORGEOUS! And I know now, I will only go see Hilary. I cannot wait to go back and do some color! I have been looking for someone since I moved from Chicago almost 5 years ago (and have seen several different stylists) but I know that I have found her (YAY!) .. on a side note weekends are by appt. only but this young lady got really lucky (since I was scheduled there all day). She called (and was recommended to Aloha by her stylist who cancelled on her) and needed "something" for the rehearsal dinner and wedding she was attending. She was very stressed and looking it, too. Hilary had her smiling and looking beautiful in NO TIME! I could not believe how fast and amazing the transformation for her had been. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!! (and I will drive the 45minutes every time!) Mahalo!

I went to the Aloha Dreams Salon & Spa after reading some great reviews about this place. I made an appointment with Hilary who did my roots, lowlights and hair trim. She was very nice, but she is not a good hair stylist. A stylist is someone who is creative, very knowledgable about different hair types, color and how long to keep the color in ones hair to get the desired result for the client. She is not a stylist, she is a hairdresser with limited skill set. She did my roots and trimmed my hair, that was easy. I wanted to get some lowlights, not too much contrast with my hair color, but I wanted them to be visible (if theyre not visible, then what am I paying for?? You always want your lowlights or highlights to kind of blend in with your hair, but still be visible). After I was done, I could not see the difference. Other than the roots, I did not see any lowlights. I went back home, asked my friends and family if they saw any lowlights and they all said they didnt see any. I went back to the salon to get it fixed (free of charge), she applied some more lowlights, and....again no lowlights visible!! Her services are expensive; I paid a lot and I was not even happy with the final look of my hair (after two visits). I am disappointed in her services and I wont be using Hilarys services again.

My appointment was for 3:00 and I waited 45 minutes before I was finally seen. I was nervous about getting my hair done after the horrible experiences Ive had with this area but thought the website and reviews were excellent. Unfortunately my hair is now botched even worse I will never ever go back to this salon you can see a picture of my layers they look disgusting this is after blow drying and straightening I cannot wear my hair down until I grow all of that mess our. People literally gasp when they see how bad my hair looks Ive been crying nonstop and I got my hair done for a wedding Im to be apart of.

My hair wasnt in hideous shape, but it definitely wasnt in the best shape. I had about 3 in of dead ends, and my bangs were fried from bleach and flat ironing. I went in to Aloha Dreams and told Ms. Hilary that I would like to rid my hair of its dead ends, and to put some subtle caramel highlights. I dont know what I was expecting, but I definitely wasnt expecting for my hair to look so HEALTHY!! She also recommended I get on a sodium chloride, sulfate free hair regiment, and so far, it is really improving the look of my hair!! Thank you Hilary!!!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I dont know what else to say. Hillary is amazing. I went in for a drastic style change. I had shoulder length hair and I decided to go to a pixie. Hillary did exactly what I wanted. She communicated with me through the whole cut. Asking did I want it to go this way or that; did I want it lay flat or go the other direction. It is so hard to find a good stylist that you can trust. I have found it and I will be a repeat customer for a long time.

I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment and described what I wanted and made sure to let them know I had long hair. I was told the maximum amount I would be charged was $160. After arriving for my appointment (scheduled a week in advance) and waiting for the stylist to finish up with her previous client, I was informed it would be $400 to touch up my roots and remove brassy tone from my hair. Ridiculous and a colossal waste of time.

Absolutely THE best place to be when trying to relax!!!! Ms Hillary is kind, beautiful and it shows she loves what she does when she talks to you.. No TVs! Which makes the music which flows around you even better. Calming music, Its a place of quiet and solitude... Never have I been so relaxed where I actually fell asleep! So take some time out for yourself, and allow her to pamper you.. You will not regret it!

The Keratin Glycolic Smoothing treatment that I got at Aloha Dreams is absolutely transforming. It has made my rather bulky, curly, frizzy hair completely manageable and silky to the touch - and this is after over 5 weeks! (It will "last" about 3 months, imagine that!) Believe me, it is worth every penny and I highly recommend Hils expert care and advice. Wonderful!

Just had a fantastic cut and style, topped off with root touch up and some low lites....Gone are my "hate my hair days" its a joy to wake up and see perfection...No!! really folks, if you want a top notch hair cut, call and book with Hilary, she really know how to make magic happen to your hair.. Hilary is THE BEST. I get my nails done here (acrylic) and its such a different experience then other nail salons, she is delicate and makes sure youre happy with each nail! Ive never been asked about shape and length etc. and felt so heard. Great atmosphere too! Ohhh I should also mention my nails hold up Fantastic :)

Hillary is the best...Two years of searching for peace of mind when I go for a hair cut and I have found it. If you are wondering where to go and not be apprehensive about results, then look no further. You (and your hair) will call this place home after just one visit. Mahalo!
