DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE ZERO! I brought an IPhone 6s Plus in to have the phone screen repaired. Upon checking out "Michael" assured me that they will repair the screen/ fix the phone if it did not work right after replacing it the initial broken screen. After I left I felt uneasy about the repair job because something just didnt feel right with the phone screen. 3 weeks later, half of the screen stopped working. Yes, there is a hairline crack in the bottom right hand corner near the home button, but Ive dealt with many cracked IPhones and that has NOTHING to do with the fact that the screen does not detect my fingers hitting the screen. I call up there to tell them that half of the screen is not working and "Michael" proceeds to tell me that they will not replace the screen if there is a crack in it. I tried to explain to Michael that he could look at the phone and see that the crack has nothing to do with the screen not working. He talked over me the whole time and I even tried to raise my voice so I could speak my piece but he would not stop telling me they would not help me or replace the screen again. After talking over me the whole time, he HUNG UP ON ME! I will not ever use this business nor recommend Gadget Tech to anyone. UPDATE: on March 4, 2017, the owner, "Russel" contacted me trying to resolve the issue because he apparently cannot take "bad reviews" about his store. He tried to get me to sign a legal contract stating that he would fix the phone at a cheaper price if I took off the bad review from Google and neve rpost about my bad experience again or else there would be a legal dispute over it. I decided against it as it was not worth all the trouble and I didnt want my phone to get in the wrong hands at that store and have another issue. I guess the owner did not like that I was keeping my bad review up so his way of "black mailing" me was to post our phone conversation for everyone to hear, WITHOUT MY CONSENT! Sure, go ahead, Russel! Because in the great state of Florida it is ILLEGAL to record someone without their consent, and especially ILLEGAL to post it publicly! I never said anything wrong nor did I yell UNTIL Michael would not let me speak in the phone conversation. Oh and you are wrong sir in the fact that I came in on November 14th because I didnt even have that phone in November, I got it for Christmas! So if you want to deal with UNPROFESSIONALS and LIARS then go right ahead and use Gadget Tech in Mandarin! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I reached out to Award Tech because they were very explicit about their pricing on their website. No calling or emailing for quotes. When I called, I was told they had the parts they needed for my black iPhone 6. I swung out 2 hours later on my lunch break. They were upfront with the repair time (2 - 2.5 hours). I asked if theyd give me a call when the repair was complete. I called them when I got back into the office to confirm they had the right number. However, I got no call. This was the first of a few problems... Despite not getting a callback, I was eager to have my phone so I called them. Its ready but with a problem. Some sort of damaged occurred to the screen and that they had to use a white iPhone 6 face instead of my black. I was told that they have a replacement for me tomorrow and would only need 20 minutes to do the repair. However, I didnt want to make 4 trips...this is the reason I confirmed they had the parts to begin with. A small frustration, but I applaud them doing the right thing and getting me a phone that works. I tried using my touch ID feature. This didnt work. In fact, theres an easy way to test it in the menu. I called them, "yeah, thats a pretty common failure, we just need to disconnect and reconnect it" Again, when I come in tomorrow. This is a minor inconvenience but if its a common problem, why not test it with your customer in store? This is handy feature for me and I was disappointed that it wasnt addressed in store. My walk away is this...make sure you have a phone that works, make sure that they have the all the parts they may need, and test equipment before you leave. Pricing is fair and I know they are falling on the sword for the additional repair costs (to go back to a black screen) but thats the least I feel like they can do.

These guys are very friendly and did an amazing job on my 15" Macbook. My 3 year old thought it would be cool to step on it destroying a large section of the pixels on the screen as well as cracking the screen from the inside. I was hurt having had the computer less than a year. I called around and looked online for repair options that wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg. After a few calls, Award Tech was who I chose. They were conveniently located to my job, very reasonably priced, and completed the job about a week earlier than I expected! One of the techs even gave me a screen protector for my Mac absolutely free which was a nice gesture. Did have one slight hiccup where they may have quoted me a price that was too low but they honored it anyway so the rather sizeable tip I left was befitting. Ill be bringing all of my tech repair needs to Award Tech. Great customer service experiences are few and far between these days and these guys are definitely one of the few! Thanks guys!

I was told my motherboard was no good. I wanted the "bad part" back so after I got the "bad one" back it was tested and it worked perfectly. So now I am out of money as they robbed me by lying to me. I really hope you enjoyed stealing money from me. If you could just have a little sympathy and at least let me know what you bought with the money you stole. Maybe you should do something good and give it to a homeless person or at least donate it. This place is untruthful and dont care they scam you if they think they can get away with it. Any potential customers of this place I highly suggest you request your "bad parts" back and test them yourselves or have someone that knows how to test them verify they were actually bad. Most repair places around the area will do this for free or a small fee depending on what needs to be tested. There is plenty of other reputable places in the area that offer great customer service and does honest business.

I went in to the store today and I had the pleasure of meeting VJ. He put screen protectors on my phone and my granddaughters phone. He then proceeded to telll me, that should I crack the screen protector I can come back in and they would replace it at no charge. I paid $20 each Im so tired of buying these $45 Body Guard screen protectors. The hassle to return them is ridiculous. AT&T is making $45 and they will never exchange one for you in store. People stop buying the $45 ones and try gadgetech with no hassles. Plus their prices are good for cleaning up your computer. I would recommend this business.
