I called Instant Keys on 01/19/2017 at 01:36pm. I stated I needed a locksmith sent to my address to unlock my vehicle. I provide my address, make and model of the car, inquired about the price and estimated time of arrival of the technician. I was told the gentleman was finishing up work in the shop and would be there shortly and I would receive a call when he was about to arrive. Quote was $65.00 to pop the lock. I waited, and waited, and waited some more until I finally called back at 3:14pm, more than a hour and a half after the initial call. I inquired about the technicians arrival and was placed on hold. I was then informed, in less than a friendly manner, that no technician had been dispatched and I had only inquired about a quote. I could not have been more clear that I was in need of service and specifically asked that a tech be sent an what his ETA was. Instant Key was 100% unapologetic and did not offer to send someone immediately due to the mistake. Thank god I was at home and not locked out on the side of the road or in need of immediate assistance. I tried to be discriptive as possible of the experience as a whole so others do not end up in the same situation. I would look for one of the many other professional locksmith services in Jacksonville before putting my faith in Instant Keys.

Its first come first serve, so I went early to get a new key for my Honda. I had called the dealer and they wanted to charge me $150 for a new key just like the one that was broken. They also said I needed an appointment but didnt have any available on such short notice (not complaining about the dealership. Duval Honda is great and I will buy all my cars from there until they give me a reason not to. Seriously, like the Ritz Carlton of car dealers. Amazing service! Anyway...) At Instant Keys, they offered me an alternative which was to get a new casing for my key that is supposed to be indestructible. And for half the price! So thats what I got, and could tell immediately it is much sturdier. Very happy with Instant Keys and with the product they sold me!

Omg unbelievable I have not had such great and professional customer service in years Mike was excellent well educated in the work he does such friendly and curtious staff also I would advice everyone that need a duplicate key for Lexus BMW etc check Mike out at instant keys Lexus Dealer wanted $300 for a duplicate key when I contacted Mike he ask questions about the key I needed duplicated he quoted me a price under a $100 I done fell in love with these guys at instant keys my friend has a Lexus and hes going in tomorrow morning for his duplicate key awesome business and customer service way to go Mike I pray God will continue to bless your business because you guys truely was a blessing to me much love god bless

After trips to Lowes, Home Depot, and even my cars dealership, finally I was able to get the right key I needed for my car here. Even in the horrible condition my key was in, they were still able to make a copy. Ill never go anywhere else for anything locksmithing related and only wish I knew about this place sooner! I had my vehicle at Duval Ford on Cassat Ave where they performed a diagnostic and couldnt determine what the problem is. They suggested two things, neither was the problem. I had my car towed from there to insta key where they fixed it in less than a hour. They have great techs and great prices.

Was amazing I give this gentleman and his whole company and A+ rading. Literally just left their happy as could ever be. Took him 10 mins to make me two keys even though my original key was snapped in half.. Definetally come here . only paid FIFTEEN DOLLARS! Thats amazing. Love this company

Eric is knowledgeabl, professional and personable. Their prices are reasonable. You will not have a long wait. My husband and I needed an additional key for a Honda CRV. He even provided the remote. Instant Key definitely the best in the business.

They are out to get ur money!!! They are nice ppl...but fix ur car with low brand items then want to charge u full price when the cheap items wears LESS THAN A YEAR of purchase! Dont go there unless u need a cheap mid-expensive fix!
