Police called because owner makes threats against a client. Whomever is responding to these reviews is blatantly lying. No one in the apartment would have had a chance to curse at the employees, because they simply walked out and refused to do any work. I still can not believe the owner of this company would threaten someone over a bad review. The owner called the potential client (my friend), after they left a bad review. He proceeded to threaten her by saying he "knows where she lives, and he "knows the address she is moving to." This is completely unacceptable behavior from anyone, let alone a business owner. The trouble started as soon as the movers showed up. It seemed they were instantly frustrated by the amount of items they had to move. They were rude and ready to leave. They insisted that the details of the move had changed since the scheduling had been done. They certainly had not. The employees proceeded to say did not have enough people to do the job. They also said "this will take at least seven to eight hours." and they would "need a team of three people. As I said it was like they did not want to work. The employees then told my friend "We dont work with people like you." Insinuating she lied about the move. Then they proceeded to leave the apartment, with no other words spoken. This level of unprofessionalism is outlandish, to say the least. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I chose this moving company because all of the ratings were good however the service I received when I moved a couple months ago was poor and unprofessional. One of the movers, BJ, had slippers on during the first portion of the move, made sure to tell about tipping before they even started, miscalculated the total and had to come back a few minutes after because he was confused so we ended up doing 2 credit card transactions and to top it all off- they broke the bracket on my dresser drawer and asked if I had a man friend because he would know how to fix it. Then when they were leaving they littered the new community I had just moved to- I had given them water to drink and instead of giving me the bottles to discard of, they threw them down in the courtyard. I had to call the company twice and they came out again twice before my dresser drawer was properly fixed. I was really disappointed and I felt taken advantage of because I was a woman. They moved a bedroom set, dining room table and some boxes and it shouldnt have taken them as long as it did but it seemed as though they were moving slow on purpose. Anyway I would not be using them again and I would not recommend them and I am wondering if these reviews are even all legitimate because they kept telling me to go to website to give a review.

I never had a scary and horrific experience with any kind of services in my life till this morning. This company not only abruptly left me scrambling to look for a moving company to help move on a Sunday morning but one of their managers by the name of Sonny called me an hour or so after they chose not to provide the service demanding me to take back the bad reviews that my husband and daughter wrote on Google. After I told him that they wouldnt he began to threatened as he said, " I know where you live". I told him that I didnt deserved that kind of threat and hung up the phone. I called the sheriffs department for I was shaken and couldnt just take anything for granted and ignore even if it was just an empty threat from a man. The sherriff officer called him from my cell and spoke to the same guy but as the sherriff officer asked him if he did threatened me on the phone due to a customers bad experience and review, he denied everything. All I needed was for the incident to be documented for whoever was that manager from this company that called me was out of line and was, very unproffessional. Please dont utilize this company for no one deserves especially a female customer threatened by a man repeatedly on the phone. Thank you.

If you need movers who are on time, professional, and cordial then ROYAL MOVING AND STORAGE CO. is your the place to go. My fiance was in a car accident 1 week before we were going to move from our 3 bedroom home. I was still going to order a U-Haul and have our friends help us move but, after thinking about it I was already stressed out so why put that pressure on others. I started calling around to all the different moving companys and the prices were so high. I then found Royal Movers. <----- LIFE SAVERS!! Mark and Reinaldo showed up at 9:45 for our 10:00 appointment to start our day off on the right foot. They moved everything out quickly and wrapped the furniture to protect it from any harm. They were both very professional, personal, funny, and enthusiastic. If you get these men for your move you will know exactly what Im talking about. The owner of Royal Movers definitely needs to give a raise and a HUGE high five to both Mark and Reinaldo. I finally unpack my last box and NOT ONE THING WAS BROKEN! I will refer everyone I know to Royal Movers and they will be the 1st moving company I will call the next time I move. Stop looking for other moving companys and call Royal!!

Do not hesitate to call Royal Moving and Storage. We moved from Alexandria Virginia and had booked movers through our moving truck company when we rented our box truck. Upon arrival all three of them were deaf and unable to move any of our items without damaging them.It was an extreme disaster. We moved into a town home community which has restrictions for leaving a truck overnight. After a recommendation from a neighbor we called Royal moving, and Wayne answered the phone late on a Friday night even though the company was closed. He assured us that his team was experienced, and professional. He was able to book us for a next day, Saturday 8:00am moving with an experienced team, lead by Rob, AKA "Bird." Rob was phenomenal. He called ahead to let us know his arrival time, he was prompt, kept his team working, and moved every single item without any damage or drama. This was a 4-5 man job and he and two men got the 26ft truck unloaded in 3.5 hours flat in 103 degree Florida heat. They saved us, and we will be forever grateful. A big thank you goes out to Rob "Bird," his team, Wayne, and Royal moving. We wish we had known about you sooner! Thanks again guys!

Using this company was one of the worst decisions I have made. We had to move on a Sunday and our usual movers were not available. We have used Helping Hands Movers the last couple of times we moved and I recommend them highly. Both times even though their rates were a little higher, it cost us about $300-$400. When my husband found out they had no other moves that day, he told me we were in trouble and he was right. They milked the clock and our charge was $790+. They were slow, unorganized. We had boxed up everything, the two beds were taken apart and everything was shrink wrapped perfectly. Then to make things worse, when we got to the apartment,my husband and me were upstairs on the 2nd floor inside the apartment and we heard the head man screaming obscenities, down by the truck, using the "f" word to one of the other movers, the surrounding tenants could clearly hear it. When I called the manager, he said some people did not understand the head guys passion...oh, is that what you call it. I call it extreme unprofessionalism and would not use this company ever again. Worst moving experience ever.
