I started calling before the annual renewal date and was told I just needed to talk to a manager over the phone to cancel. No Manager ever available. Then, when the fee came out I called again. I was told to just call and talk to a manager to get it refunded. I got lectured on the contract even though an employee gave me wrong information. I was told that annual fee is NEVER REFUNDED. Basically too bad. Corporate office is the same way!! Worst customer service ever. Untrained staff with a "too bad" attitude!

I use Planet Fitness primarily for tanning. Most of their five beds are either broken or out of order leaving usually 2 working beds available. This is Ok when no one is using the working bed(s), but instead I usually have to wait 10-15 minutes for a working bed to become available. Since I go on my lunch break it is not convenient. Slightly frustrating when all that needs to be done is replace a simple bulb(s), yet the beds go weeks without maintenance...careless is how Id describe this service.

This gym is so afordable it makes me wander whats the catch. So if you want to cancel the membership you have to show up in person, so it has to be before the billing date... big deal - its so cheap if I decide to cancel it they can take an extra fee as a thank you. I give it a 4 stars only because I wish they had loose bench press weight instead of all of them Smith machines for squats... but I guess safety... and the bathrooms could be replenished a bit more often but overall a very good gym

No free weights, basically a glorified cardio section thats being called a "gym". Also a *HUGE* hassle to cancel your membership. They force you to come by during normal business hours (meaning, take time off work) *IN PERSON* to cancel your membership. They will continue to charge you even after you call to tell them you want to cancel. Awful business practices. Its 2016 and your only choices are to "send them a letter" or take time off work to come in in person to cancel.

This is a great gym! I come here several days a week and the staff is always friendly. There is a good variety of equipment, awesome ceiling fans, tvs at the elipitical and tread mill machines. The treadmills have i-pod chargers (which can be really convenient when youre running low) and the locker rooms are always clean. I always feel welcome here and love the "judgment free" atmosphere that the gym has fostered.

They were so incredibly rude when my husband and I cancelled our membership... Not to mention that the day we signed up they made the big deal "were a judge free zone!" And then told my husband his membership would be suspended (or something along those lines...?) Because he grunted while lifting a weight and it made guests uncomfortable... Basically its an overpriced place and I do not recommend it.

Changing my review because its the 3rd time I came to workout and it was closed! Not truly 24 hours. Dont really like the fact they have to have your bank account information. Cancellation policy is a little sketchy. Music is way to loud!!!! Very mixed crowd, all shapes, sizes, colors. Clean, plenty of machines.For the price and location it gets the job done. Just please turn the music down.

I thought it was the perfect facility, but I am leaving (and paying the contract fee) as the incessant droning shrieking 5 song soundtrack is incompatible with a workout unless you are 17. Do not make my mistake. Go month to month. I would return if they created a "music free zone". More than 70% wear their own music into PF. What makes them think we want the annoyance of their bad taste?

They closed the place for construction without notification. When I showed up to work out some guy in a planet fitness shirt could barely take time out from eating his lunch to rudely tell me that they were closed for the a week or two. No discount on the fee. He told me I could go workout at another PF twenty minutes away in a Wal Mart shopping center. This was all handled poorly.

Great place nice people. I feel like this planet fitness is a little more relaxed then other about making sure its judgement free (siren isnt going off all the time). It has tons of equipment and it never seems like you have to wait for a machine no matter what time of day. Marked it down one star because the setup there of machines doesnt seem very intuitive.

Best deal for personal fitness in America. Smart business plan....charge less... advertise....have larger facility with many exercise equipment available to everyone on the spot. Smart win/win situation for all. I work out at this facility every week usually a few times a week and I like burning calories on the treadmill and stationary bikes they have.

my last experience with PF didnt end well. I called in to cancel my membership on 4/12 and was told I needed to come to the club to sign some papers and couldnt close it over the phone. I go into the office and find out it needed to closed on the 4/10 to avoid the monthly service fee. Poor customer service and experience.

Started going here back in 2015. Nice gym to get in, do what you have to and leave. Recently returned after about a year break due to a surgery. The new arrangement of the equipment is confusing. Same staff but not very friendly for some reason. I go here because its reasonably priced and close to my house.

In order for you to be a member with Planet Fitness they demand your personal checking bank account ( that is to RISKY). They dont want to work with you on any other way. The customer service is very poor. They also want you to cancel in person ( the only way?) .... just to collect late fee? hmmmm....

Nice gym. If you do not want to go month by month automatic charge to your checking account, you have to pay a full year subscription. Super clean, most staff are friendly and polite, except for a guy on grave shift and one in the afternoons. A mixed crowd makes it a family oriented gym.

The simplest task of opening on time seems to be a challenge. Arrived to work out at 12am (technically Monday morning) which Ive done many times in the past...and by this point (12:40am) there is still no one here to unlock the doors to let us in (a number of us have been waiting)

This gym does have free weights, ab section, cardio area. I love the pull up machine, it helps me build those muscles while helping me pull up. I love this place! I dont know what others are talking about saying this gym sucks, I like it here the atmosphere is great!

Ive never recieved a notification about they were temporarily closed. And the only recommendation when I showed up was to go to another location. Any other is 25 minutes from this one in Lake Mary, FL. No information, no discount fee, no care about the customers.

Hard to beat at $10 per month. Have every type of machine and free-weight that I need for complete workouts. They have enough machines that I rarely cant find one to use. 5-7 pm is definitely the busiest so I usually go outside of those times.
