DO NOT TAKE YOUR VALUABLES HERE! This place is a joke! Unfortunately it’s the only one near my home however for now on I’ll be making a drive out of my way to avoid any further headaches! Besides the fact that they don’t do the best job with laundering clothes (they smell like old moldy factory and sweat!) the customer service is also terrible! I came in recently to drop off clothes ( needing my already washed work shirts pressed ) an employee of theirs advised me I had 2 items for pick up but they didn’t have the items to be picked up in the store? Weird right? Well the employee called another one of their locations and told me I could pick up my 2 items when my other clothes were finished being pressed which would take nearly a WEEK! No problem I thought…. Yea right. I get a call 3 whole days later to have a woman by the name of Becky call me and tell me that this establishment had donated MY BELONGINGS!!?? I asked Becky why they sent my things out for donation and she advised me that if they are in the store too long they get rid of them! I asked her why they didn’t call me to let me know I had anything there at all?! Her response, “I don’t know what transpired.”…..and that’s all I got regarding my Clothing. It’s really sad I couldn’t even get a courtesy call or letter of some sort before they gave my things away. If I can save anyone the trouble, AVOID THIS DRY CLEANERS AT ALL COSTS! Clothes have a smell Lose or give away your belongings with no notice Over priced Customer service is terrible.

I dont usually review things but after reading the bad things people have to say about this cleaners, I wanted to chime in. I used them for many years. One of my favorite things about Southside is how honest they are. If they didnt think an item would come clean, they would tell me that theyd do their best but that they didnt want to over promise and under deliver. I brought a blouse that I had torn and they flat out told me that the repair would be very visable and that they would do it if I wanted but that they didnt think I would be happy with the results. They told the truth rather than just doing the work and taking my money. Its rare to have a business be so upfront and I really appreciate that. Plus, when I have sent in my husbands shirts with broken buttons they replace them, no questions asked and no charge (even when it was my fault because I attempted to clean and press them at home, big mistake! They do a much better job than I did!!)

I recently took two very expensive custom-made dresses here thinking the price would mean better quality cleaning. I was assured they would take special care of these dresses, but when I returned to pick them up, the dresses were ruined. I received no calls to notify me about any accidents or damage- I just saw it when I picked them up. I asked them if they could repair the damage because one dress is obsolete now. They told me to buy more sequins with no reimbursement so their seamstress could sew them back on. I couldnt find any that matched locally, so I called Southside and they said they had sent someone out to find some. They only found the same sequins I did that do not match and have told me they will not sew them now. I have been going back and forth over this for a week now with them with no resolution. Poor quality work, does not own up to mistakes and no problem resolution.

"Liars" is correct! My husband took a suit in to be cleaned/altered for our daughters wedding. It was "promised" a week before the ceremony. When he went to pick it up - a day after the promised date - they hadnt even started it! He was told that their seamstress had been ill, but of course, they have our phone # and never bothered to call us.Now they are "promising" it 2 days before the wedding. Of course, we cannot trust that to be true. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." We are now going to have to scamble to get it altered in time elsewhere. They show total inconsideration for their customers needs, as evidenced by their lack of responsibility on 100% of their customer compaints. Cannot wait to see what lies are told about us. SHAME!!!!

I took my bridesmaid dress there 2 weeks before the wedding to have it altered, and I called a week before the wedding and they said it would be ready by 4pm... went to pick it up and they hadnt touched it. Then they said it wouldnt be ready until the day before the wedding. Who in their right mid would have a dress ready the day before the wedding? You should have the dress ready in plenty of time to make sure it fits... in case they mess up. Not to mention they had already had the dress for a week to begin with... would not recommend....

My Suits come back clean and soft - not chemically stiff and rough. My shirts come back nicely starched the way I like them - med starch, and with no creases in the sleeves. Just started using their pick up and delivery service - what a time saver! Yes, use them. I tried three different cleaners and they were lousy. Southside Cleaners gives you your moneys worth with excellent service!

Ive been using their delivery service for years and I love it. Recently, I needed a suit in a hurry for a furneral and they made it happen. The counter girls were very understanding of my situation. They went the extra mile for me and I really appreciate it. I highly recommend Southside Cleaners for both their store and their delivery!

There are many dry cleaners, bad, average and outstanding. Southside is outstanding, Southside cleaners is first class all the way, and you get what pay for. Ive used dozens of cleaners over the years and in many states. Southside Cleaners has standards none can match, and they even bring it to your door. Does it get any better??

Went to pick up suit a week later,unfortunately they lost it. was told to come back as they were sure it could be found. When they called to say they found it , I went to pick it up and did not get a discount or an apology. Would never use that cleaner again!!! Very POOR costumer service!!!!!

Gave them to wash my sweater.They gave my sweater dirty like it was before. Never will come here again

My clothing was returned to me with holes that they blamed on wear and tear. It wasnt even a year old.
