Had to send a "Registered" and "Return Receipt" letter. Honestly, the outside of the facility looks like it could use a weekend work-over. There is mold on the windows and vines sticking to the walls that someone started pulling off. Neither of these things effect the business I had to do with the USPS. My guess is there isnt a dedicated grounds person due to the lack of funding - its not this locations fault and, like I said, it doesnt effect the mail operations. There was a line of about 6 people which was gone within 5 minutes. Each of the four Clerk desks was occupied by an employee actively working. I was impressed by the amount of things offered in the lobby other than postal materials: cards, boxes, wrapping papers, gift cards, etc. If you had forgotten an important date and had nothing but the address, you could walk in this location and send a fully acceptable present to anyone. The Clerk was friendly, patient and helpful. I appreciate that I was out of there in an appropriate amount of time and having finished what I went there to accomplish. Overhearing a couple other transactions while I waited, the Clerks were knowledgeable and friendly, even if the customers were not. What more could someone ask of their local USPS?

Have been using their package pick up service and they just decide to not show up or come very late. To the point where I was so worried that they wouldnt show up that Ive had to take my packages to them only to get an email stating that they tried to pick up but my package was not where I had said it would be??? Of course it wasnt, I had ended up taking the package to USPS myself because I was afraid they werent going to show up! I know that the mail person had delivered my mail because we have boxes down near the office in my community but they are not within walking distance for me. So yesterday I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited and waited then called, I was told the driver would be notified about my pickup so I waited. After waiting another hour or so I get an email from them at 6:30 pm stating , "due to their error they would not be picking up and that they would make another attempt the next day". Do I believe them or not? I am disabled and it is hard for me to get to USPS, what kind of service is this when they dont follow through! Dissatisfied customer!

There is no Problem with this office. Just one particular carrier today. I walked out to my car from the store I work at and see the carrier pulling up. Great, Ill just have him give me the mail. I mentioned to him I was just in time for him today, he made a comment to me saying, no I was early. So I stood there waiting for him to put all his parcels away and mail in there proper boxes. He shut the box, I asked him to give me my mail. He told me he needed an ID to give it to me. Duh! the company label is all over my shirt. Capritta Appliance and Air Conditioning Services Inc. He looked at me and said I need a Picture ID. How is my drivers licence going to tell you who I work for??? This may have been a different carrier but Damn. If you were not going to give me the mail, why did you not say something instead of me standing there waiting for you to finish for you to give me the mail. He said he wasnt getting fired for giving me the mail. How stupid.

We brought a gift in to be mailed to our friend in VA , she didnt get her Christmas gift ! Here it is 3 weeks later ! We didnt insurance it because of what it was ! Whats up with your worker not doing their job! Very upset and disappointed! John / Irene We just called the post office after they hung up 3 times, I used my cell! The uncaring lady that answer, didnt even say they were sorry! Now didnt keep our receipt , because we were dumb to trust the postal system!!! We will not use Minton Rd Post office again ! The lady was very rude , we understand that you are busy, but if you cant take it then , then let someone else get paid $ 20:00 a hour or more to do the job ! By being kind !

This post office sucks. Even though it is the closest one to my house, I would rather fight all the people in downtown before I go to this one again. I went there this morning to give them a broken computer screen that was sent to me. The company that sent it to me opened a damage claim and I had to turn in the damaged one. The lady said she had to talk to the supervisor about it and came back and told me I had to go to a different post office with it. Now I had to take off work and go to the other office that isnt even close to me. Guess what? They told me I could have dropped it off at the West Melbourne office this morning when I was there. Talk about lazy people passing the buck! Jerks!

I honestly do not want to even give this place 1 star. I just called and spoke to a rep, I believe she said her name was Natasha, inquiring about a package that I mailed in a hurry yesterday and forgot to address. Before I could even finish my statement, she cut me off and told me that the packages were gone and they dont check if there is a name/labeling so there was nothing she could do. I have never experience a customer service rep who was so short, rude and lacking of professionalism. USPS should be more selective with the kind of people they hire to represent a business. Disgusting.
