I had a postal worker cuss me out....for HER mistake! She put an expensive cellphone in an unlocked box in our complex, then proceeded to tell me off, saying I "should have known" she put the stupid phone in the box she never let me the key to; she actually left the key in the unlocked box for anyone to take! She swore at me, called me names and actually approached me like she was going to attack me! Called and complained to the post office, because SURELY threatening to attack a customer is grounds for firing. NOPE! She still works our route from time to time, and I still have packages going missing! Ive had to resort to filing a report with the USPS rather than going through Fort Mill PS, because they dont care. They WONT do their jobs and you might as well forget about getting customer service; more like harassment if you force them to actually try WORKING. Another day, ANOTHER FREAKIN PACKAGE MISSING! Between this last complaint and today, the post office has lost another two of my packages, and now were on the third. Each time I called demanding my package, only to be told indirectly, "Oh well. Your problem now!" Well, now youre not ALLOWED to call the post office; oh no. They want you to go on-line or call a stupid robotic answering service! Neither of which will get this third package delivered to me! I swear the postal service is a waste! Its archaic, unreliable and really couldnt care less if they do the job right or not! Now I have to scramble to re-order this book my daughter desperately needed through ANOTHER SERVICE! Had I known they would deliver my packages through USPS, I never would have ordered through them in the first place!

The USPS is closing post offices nation wide because of terrible service. The Fort Mill post office should definitely be one of the locations closed or either fully restaffed. The staff is SLOW, DISRESPECTFUL, DISHONEST,& make me wonder is anyone there even graduated from kindergarten. Luckily I'm moving from Fort Mill in 2 weeks so I don't have to deal with this location ever again. Of course the post office wanted one last laugh, I changed my address online and set the date for April 12 (mail is suppose to be delivered to current address for another 15days before new address becomes effective)! Had a time sensitive package scheduled for Monday, package went out for delivery as scheduled, but never delivered. The courier decided to go ahead and have package returned to post office instead of doing their job by delivering it and didnt even take the time to leave a notice. Oh yea did I mention this was a business related package which my contract worth $30k was cancelled bc i didn't respond. I will have to let one of my employees go because of this, which is sad that a great employee now has no job but terrible postal workers keep their job. 13 out 15 reviews for the fort mill post office are 1 stars that should tell you to us UPS or Fedex

Delivery person routinely fails to actually attempt delivery of registered mail or packages - unless I am standing at the box, he leaves a slip without coming to the door or announcing himself in any way - and after the last time he failed to deliver to the correct address we nearly lost our home (he had been mis-delivering TAX notices to the wring address) because he was forwarding our mail incorrectly to a neighbor who had moved! When I called the post office to ask why he hadnt attempted delivery, I was informed that I should call in the morning, sign the slip and leave it in the box and they would redeliver, but after having the majority portion of our bills, replacement bank cards and other time sensitive mail simply.never arrive (or forwarded to god only knows where) I refuse to do so again and risk losing yet another item of mail! I will be filing aformal ccomplaint with the postmaster general as this has gone on for the better part of a year and is utterly unacceptable. When a simple letter takes 3 weeks to travel 30 miles, and mail is sorted to be forwarded to an unauthorized address without consent, something really, really wrong is going on at this post office!!!!

LAZY LIARS!!!! WHY DO THE MAIL CARRIERS SAY THAT THEY DELIVER YOUR MAIL WHEN THEY DONT. they will say attempted delivery but they dont realize you work from home and your waiting on the package. when you go to the post office they are not even there and the mail person Teffany laughed in my face and told me that I should come back later as though it doesnt cost me gas to drive back and forth and as though I dont have other things I have to do. They are not trained to show any kind of empathy and Teffany made me feel like it was my fault as though I did something wrong to deserve a lie. I Would NEVER GIVE HER A JOB...I WOULDNT WANT HER TO DRIVE MY BUSINESS IN THE GROUND OR MY CUSTOMERS AWAY BECAUSE OF HER ATTITUDE TO NOT CARE AND HER MINDSET IS THAT ITS OK TO BE LAZY! there has got to be some way to escalate the behavior of the mail carrier who lied and said they tried to deliver my package when they absolutely did not! this happens way to often then I like. MY LIVELYHOOD DEPENDS ON MY CUSTOMER SERVICE THE THEIR EFFICIENCY WHICH OTHER THAN LINDA OUR NORMAL MAIL CARRIER ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! this incident happened on 6/30/2017.

After being stationed all over the world with the US Air Force I used Post Offices quite a bit, after retiring I decided to settle in Fort Mill, everything was wonderful except for the first time I used our Post Office, I was quite disappointed the first time I mailed something, and I reassured my feelings the second time.. and the third... and so on, the service is just plain awful, the only two clerks Ive seen there seem like they just came back from a funeral (understandable since the cemetery is across the street), specially old George, seems like hes going to beat you up. For a town thats growing at a very fast pace I think they should have more than one clerk taking care of costumers when theres more than ten people on line (you can usually hear a whole bunch of people in the back talking and laughing), Nowadays I avoid this post office and I rather go to places that offer the service, like: The mail route, UPS, etc... if you use this post office, bring a chair and a good book!

Id give them 0 stars if possible, but Ill settle for 1. We had 2 separate orders from 2 different companies. I tracked both packages about a week after they were due, and it came back that BOTH packages were delivered on Friday, June 19th. We never received either one of them. I find it strange that 2 different orders have gone missing. I wish retailers would use UPS or FedEx to ensure their customers receive their packages. I called the Fort Mill Post Office and got a live person, who tracked one of the package himself and got the same results as I did. He ALSO told me that another customer on our street had strangely called in about a missing package that was supposedly delivered on June 19. He said someone was probably stealing them off our porches. Thats ridiculous, where we live, wed notice someone other than our neighbors walking around. Our driveway is about 400 feet, our neighbors is about 500 feet IN THE WOODS. We all live on 5+ acres. This SUCKS.
