My story is a two-parter! Back in the fall of 2015 I had brought my car to Doral Auto Tek to get some service done(side note: I had gone to countless places before, all of them leavening me with a more uneasy feeling than the next, before settling here). Immediately walking into the door I felt very comfortable leaving my car here. Each person that I was in contact with was very upfront with me. From the support staff(Suzy) to Jose the head tech I was happy to see they were actual human beings and not just business people looking to make a killing on someone who is just looking for advice on what to do with their car. A good chunk of change later my car came out of that shop like brand new. To me the price tag is trivial compared to the piece of mind you get when your car is running smooth. The people at Doral Auto Tek were awesome about keeping in touch through the entire process of fixing my 2003 Honda Civic! Now for my second part!!!! I just brought my car in today and needed a small project done, I was in a tight spot and needed it done today or else I was screwed. They worked their magic and squeezed me! Again Suzy and the entire staff was awesome on my second trip! Please if you are in the area and need some service done take the second to go to Doral Auto Tek, no doubt they will take good care of you!

Brought car in for repair. Car would not start. Check engine light, VSC and traction light came on. Noticed leak. Communicated all this to Auto Tek. Left the car with Auto Tek. Picked up the car next day. Car stalled again. Lights came on again. Auto Tek failed to read error codes on computer. Replaced battery / changed oil + filter. Did not "notice" water pump (allegedly issue). Quoted $600 for water pump repair on the phone. Then quoted $700+ in writing. Admits no responsibility for failing proper repair on first visit despite due care and having car for hours (as per first repair invoice). Allegedly ran car for 90 minutes. Unprofessional and dishonest.

My E-430 was due for "service B", which is really just an oil and filter change, checking the other fluids in the car, and checking tire wear and pressure. The dealer in Coral Gables had a "special" price for this of $379. Jose and his great team did it for $167 and probably did a better job than the dealer would have. Theres no going back now--no reason to pay more than double for basic maintenance.

I took my car for service everyone was very professional and courteous. They explained in detail and gave me an estimate before the work was done. This was few years ago. Now they have a loyal customer for life!
