Receiving that every so often warning to use my Tires Plus credit card or lose it, I found myself late on a Friday afternoon changing oil on my new 2017 Nissan Armada Platinum. 14,770 miles into the new vehicle - and getting ready to take a road trip next week - I thought it best to change oil and rotate tires. Besides, I had to use the credit card or lose it due to inactivity. Since moving to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale a couple of years ago, Ive been to this particular Tires Plus several times. From an oil change to new tires and a rotation, Ive always been happy. On this particular day, it was a 7 quart synthetic oil change and the usual servicing that comes with it. I called ahead and spoke with Chad. Apparently he is the manager. An appointment I inquired, or should I just drop in and take my chances? It was 4:45 on a Friday afternoon and Tires Plus closed at 7 p.m. Asking about price, I was told $59 and change, including rotation. Thinking this was a bit low, I asked - "Are you sure on price - this is a Nissan Armada?" I was told yes - that is what we have in the computer. Chad suggested dropping in and I did so, arriving at about 5:15. Jordan was my service advisor and he logged in my Armada. Intending to drop the vehicle and walk across the street to get my nails done and dinner, I joked about the price. Jordan advised that I was right and it was a bit higher due to the "extra oil." 2 quarts to be specific. Chad was standing right there tuned into the entire conversation. At that point, Chad walked over to the computer and adjusted the price. He said the error was his and that he would honor what I was told over the telephone. Price adjusted and I was out the door walking across busy State Road 60. After getting a manicure and a quick dinner at the Japanese place across the street, I walked back to Tires Plus just before the 7 p.m. closing time. I was advised that my job was almost done. I hung out in the waiting area tuned into CNN and played on my smartphone. Great service and professional staff with Chad and Jordan. Overall a decent price on the 6.9 quart Pennzoil synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Less expensive than other local shops and honorable that Chad honored the quoted price over the telephone. An added bonus was using my Tires Plus credit card, thus creating "activity" and not losing it for not using it. Now I just have to decide whether to take the extended 0 percent payment plan over the next 6 months or pay in full. /s/ William E. Lewis, Jr. Vero Beach, Florida

A honest mechanic goes a long ways when it comes to my vehicle, this particular store, tires plus in Vero Beach did a fantastic job on my air-conditioning today. I was very nervous that I had something major wrong with it. After Trying everything that was necessary, the mechanic identified that all I needed was a relay switch and a little Freon. This relay switch is very cheap, my AC now feels like a meat locker, in my vehicle, this is imperative in the state of Florida as you know. In the end I am the winner I am very happy with the service that I received from the store manager Chad, he was very professional and did everything possible to make sure my vehicle was fixed without affecting my wallet , including any unnecessary charges, It was also at a reasonable price I am extremely pleased, I highly recommend you go into tires plus and the management team and employees will serve you right.

Not to the fault of this local store, the online quote I had sent myself via email that wasnt supposed to change for $30 went up by more than $40 for 4 tires. They sent only a link via email and the prices changed. So their promise to honor the quote is only if you print it on paper right away I suppose. I called corporate hq to notify the of the issue with the quote system and the said the store would be the only one to help. Seemed backwards but I called. The store admitted the price was lower at the time I acquired the quote but would honor the lower price in spite of the 30 day quote expiration promise. I politely told him that he would certainly lose my business if he didnt try to help and he refused. So to Firestone I went!

Lost all respect for this place today. Owner must be putting pressure on the estimators to write big ticket invoices. Im rarely offended but came in for a brake inspection only to hear the age-old pitch of "while we have it apart" and the familiar list of items like tie-rod ends, calipers, hub assembly, etc. I had to cut him off mid-rant and he still had the audacity to call me to the computer 20 minutes later and start going through the list again. How much do you think he wanted me to spend? Not $300, not $800, not $1200... try over $1500! Family and work vehicles will not be serviced by these guys any more.

The staff was so friendly and considerate. I went in with a flat tire and 3 bald tires an hour before they closed. I had a donut on and said I would come back tomorrow before work. Ron, the service advisor, said we will take care of you tonight. He didnt want me to be riding around with my tires in that condition. With 4+ people in front of me, I could tell this business didnt care about what time they got out but appreciated the business and wanted me to be safe. I would recommend them to anyone in needs of their service.

Was able to talk to Ron, the owner and another guy in the shop and they were all helpful and did not talk down to me like most guys at car shops. They also brought me to the back to show me specifically what the problem was. They also helped me look for warranties on my tires so that my total cost could be cut down. It worries me to read the poor reviews but I plan on going back next time I need to.

Pull around the corner and check my "new oil", and the oil on the dipstick is FILTHY. TIRES PLUS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Dont get me started on the ripoff upsell BS they come up with when they "inspect" your car. BUYER BEWARE WHEN THEY "INSPECT"...THEY WILL COME UP WITH ANY BS THEY CAN THINK OF.

Went to shop for tires, and was impressed with the level of service and how great the pricing was. They found discounts to bring my price down, and I couldnt be happier with the tires that are on my car. Chad Arnold and his team were great, and they now have a customer for life!

We stopped in Vero Beach while traveling when the "check tire pressure" warning came on. They checked pressures, added air, and sent us on our way with no change. The guy that serviced our car could not have been any nicer. This place was a gem in a time of need!
