DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was misled by the few, but high-rated reviews on yelp and google. But, when I arrived, I received the complete opposite. I arrived for my appointment this morning only to be told things about my hair that were obvious. As I am anxious to move along with the process (because after all I am there by appointment, NOT JUST SOME RANDOM WALK-IN demanding service) she proceeds to remove her gloves and tell me shes going to finish AFTER SHE EATS!!!! I asked how long she would take, she took offense by stating she had never been asked that before and continued to carry on as though I had no place to ask even though she is not just on her time, but ON THE CLIENTS TIME (which in my opinion is more valuable considering I am the one paying). She had no regard for time and imposed her personal dissatisfaction with "not eating" or "being hungry" on a client and insisted that either I wait for her or reschedule. Real professionals who run businesses, make their clients/customers top priority and does not gripe about missing a meal that should have been eaten prior to even opening their doors (since its that important). I was highly disappointed that I wasted my gas and time coming to her salon. People like her make it hard to support our own. For the future, I suggest that you get more employees on the floor to conduct minor tasks for clients while "you eat" and practice better customer service because you may have a select few vouching for you, but your business WILL NOT THRIVE under your indignant and low class ownership. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SOMEONE SO INCONSIDERATE. NEVER AGAIN. ***FYI This is definitely not the first time a client or potential client has complained about her attitude*** P.S. The reviews may be good, but please pay attention to how long ago they were.

I showed up to the appointment on time and had to wait for her to finish eating. 30 minutes later, she started to providing service: wash, treatment, trim, and twist out. Other clients trickled in. She started styling another girls hair in between styling mine. Note: Ms. Sayblee did not wash her hands when switching clients. Also, she talked about personal matters often. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience that cost me money. Total time: 4 hours. -Ms. Sayblee could improve in the area of time management. Perhaps, hire a scheduler to make realistic appointments to decrease unnecessary wait times. -Ms. Sayblee would benefit from keeping her personal and professional lives separate in the presence of clients. This is common sense for any business. -Ms. Sayblee would benefit from adhering with hygienic standards as expected in the State of Florida. She addresses clients with many scalp/hair conditions that could be transferred from client to client if proper hand washing isnt performed. Its a shame, really. I was initially excited about this natural hair salon. The search continues!

Unprofessional. The first time I saw this salon in 2009 I was so excited. I thought finally a salon that caters to natural hair care and not merely locks but all haircare. The owner was not friendly or inviting at all. In fact, she was rude and her prices were atrocious. Yet, it was not the prices that kept me away. It was the attitude. So, two years later I call and try and give this woman another shot. Instead of answering my questions, she rushes me off the phone stating that "I cant speak to you while holding a hotcomb." First of all, Im not clairvoyant so if I knew she was busy I would not have called. Secondly, if you are already busy with a customer either get a receptionist to answer your phone or let it go to voice mail, or in a professional tone take down the new customers info and call him/her back. Honestly, I will never give this business a chance. It has nothing to do with a black business owner more than it has to do with an inept individual.

Running a business on your own is not easy especially when you do not have a receptionist. But she gets the job done right. When I first walked into the salon and I saw her I was not sure what to expect. She did not have a receptionist and I saw the reviews not only on this website but at other sites adn there were mix messages about her services. But after she re-did my locks because they were a mess at first, I was just super satisfied. I enjoyed her company, she was easy to talk to and gave me what I asked for. Now my locks are healthy and growing very beautifully. She doesnt use gel or anything that is not natural. I love this salon, and now she has a part time receptionist who is very kind and makes it much easier to answer my questions, I just love her so much. I highly recommend it.

I visited this salon a few months ago. I had to take a moment to post this review. I will NEVER set foot in this place let alone recommend it to anyone. I went in for a wash and trim. While I was there, she offered me a "treatment" to which I agreed. I am not new to salons and services, so I figured it couldnt be more than $10-15 extra. At the end of my service, I ask her whats my final total, this woman quotes me $70.00!!!!!! I was astonished to hear a quote that ridiculous considering it was for a WASH, TRIM, AND TREATMENT. She claims the treatment alone was $50, which SHE FAILED TO INFORM ME OF SUCH AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE! It was my first and last visit, never again. For future reference, ASK FOR PRICES BEFORE SERVICE. Not even on the phone , ask for prices in person.

So I went today based on A LOT of reviews that were positive. I arrived early and waited 30mins for some one to just finally stroll in. Very unprofessional. Plus Sayblee never said a word to me, the 2 Hispanic women acknowledged me. I made the appointment just for a hair trim and informed the person over the phone that I have natural hair and ALL I needed was a hair trim. Low and behold there policy is that they can not touch my hair unless they wash it. What a waste of gas money. I always seem to have problems when I try to do business with black people. When Hispanics or Asians do my hair I have no problem but when I go to my own, I have all the problems in the world. I will keep looking, but for me my experience was horrible.

Along with the fantastic manicurist, Maria, and her pedicures that last an entire month, I highly recommend this salon for anyone with curly hair. Ive been searching for anyone that knows how to manage curly hair and isnt trying to convince me to blow dry my hair straight for the rest of my life or sell me fifteen more products to clutter up my bathroom and Ive finally found Sayblee. Shes warm and wonderful and and very knowledgeble. My hair is beautiful and managable and SOFT for the first time ever. GO!!! ... and I recommend the secret treatment as well as the Miss Jessie hair care products Sayblees salon carries

This is by far one of the best hair care salons in Miami. I have had my hair colored, permed, bleached, teased and many other things done to it. Sayblees hair care not only corrected the past damage but has made the new hairs growing better. I love how when I run my fingers in my hair, it feels healthy. Congratulations on this fabulous hair care services and thank you for all you did! I already recommend you hair salon to my girls!
