I bought a coupon for partial highlights that I found on Couptessa. I was really excited to go to Extension King, hoping that I would find "the One", since I had enough bad experiences before in South Beach. Every time I came out of a saloon, the hightlights looked rather lowlights. The staff was very kind, I had a tea, they tried to understand what was my wish and they started to work. The first thing was really strange that hairstylist would turn me around with my chair while dying my hair. At the end I had to sit in a very uncomfortable position. I had one of those days and I felt very sick but when I told him I had stomach ache, he would tell: "Ok hold on for 5 more mins" After working on me for 4 hours, the same happened like in other saloons. My hair turned golden brown, since they used a kind of toner which made it even darker than before.At the end they charged extra for the toner-which is understandable if hairdressers let me know in advance whatever extra they want to charge for. I often end up paying extras in SoBe and the result is rarely satisfying. In my coutry the hairstylist would never let me go if I am not satisfied. In this place the opposite happened. The owner cared more about getting the money instead of making sure that I was happy. When I asked why he didn t tell me the extra price when he put the toner on my hair, he got upset in a second and there was no way to have an intelligent conversation with him. He even wanted to call the police and treated me like a criminal! He "just wanted to protect his business" but who is going to protect the costumer? They told me, "I was more than welcome to go back today to correct the color" but after disrespected me even as a lady, one thing is certain, they will never see me again, nor my friends there. He can show off with 10 years experience, my hair color is the opposite that I wanted. It was totally wasting money. Girls, let me know if you know a caring and talented hairstylist who is able to do highlights in Miami!

I decided to try Extension King right after they first opened, and Ive been returning there for all of my haircare needs ever since. It was a great experience- the salon was clean and comfortable, and all of the staff were very friendly. I was taken in on time, which is rare in South Beach salons. I got the keratin treatment and a hair cut, both done by Justin, and the results were fantastic. I have extremely thick, coarse hair, and over-priced keratin treatments from other salons always faded after only a month or two. I got the keratin treatment here and it left my hair smooth and highly manageable for about 5-6 months- much longer than I expected for my type of hair. I was also amazed by how great the hair cut turned out. Stylists at other salons would cut my hair, and after the first day, it would become poofy and unmanageable. This time, It looked great for months, and without any styling whatsoever. Something that definitely separates Extension King from the rest is their outstanding customer service. They actually listen to every customers needs, and make sure youre completely satisfied with your hair. Both Justin and Eric are very attentive and fully answer any questions. If you want great hair and outstanding service, visit this gem of a salon- you wont regret it.

hey gurls, I am from New York and I have been searching all over in NYC and In florida the right person who is doing my hair. The right person with good price. UNtil I found the Extension KING in SOBE. My searched is over, the stuffs, is really nice offering some drinks and feel to relax and feel comfortable!!! the music and place is great. Until the guy GREAT guy justin touches my hair and do extentions wow is really amazing.... I look good and gorgeous.... and the good news gurls.... He gave good PRICE!!! I ask around so far he is GOOD ON PRICING AND HE KNOWS what to do!!! I LOVE JUstin and Her wife... before I was a client now I FEEL that I am part of the FAMILY!!! NOw gurls searched is over.... I am acttually dont mind traveling from NYC to FLORIDA just to do my hair.... QUALITTY SERVICE AND GOOD PRICE..... Exceptional service! The staff are competent and knowledgeable. They really take the time to listen to what youre asking for and then they actually deliver the style that you want! Justin, the salon owner, succeeded in transforming my over processed brassy blonde hair into a beautiful light ash blonde! And he is consistent in getting the color right every time!!! Something which is very difficult to find in South Florida! And the extensions that Justin and his wife, Zana, did blended amazingly well with my real hair and look very natural!!! The extensions last 4-6months and I never had any issues with extensions slipping or matted hair. Last but not least, I am very grateful to Justin for taking the time to understand my hair and using a correct technique for my hair when doing extensions! Justin and his staff take the time to understand their clients hair needs! And I have recommended Extension King Hair Salon to my friends, and I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for experienced and knowledgeable staff who understand what the client asks for and succeed in delivering the color and style that the client wants!

I live in Baltimore but visit Miami frequently and I wear fusion extensions. When a friend told me to check out Extension King in Miami I did and havent looked back when it comes to getting my extensions removed and installed. The extensions last 4-6 months and they DO NOT ruin your hair. I had terrible experiences such as extensions pulling my real hair out, but this is not the case when you get your extensions done at Extension King. This is my second time getting my hair done and I feel compelled to write an awesome review. First off, the WHOLE team worked on me and was friendly and professional as can be. They gave me a rich, unique color that complemented my skin tone that I absolutely LOVE! My extensions or LONG and THICK and I know put in correctly and will last a LONG time. They even stayed open until 2am working on my hair last time, so I felt very VIP! Extension King really does give you a NEW look that will turn peoples heads. I love it and am a client for life! It is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for and they dont overcharge you like other places.

I bought a coupon deal from groupon for a mani pedi in this salon. I took an appointment, they called me on the morning to reminded me my appointment : I found this really good! I went for my appointment, they were really friendly. I met first the two hairdresser that were busy with clients, but they welcomed me very well. They also proposed me to have my hair done during my pedi. Since I am french and one af the hairdresser was french (Eric) I decided to also do my hair in the american style brushing! Sharin did my nails with the shellac laquer, and what a good product! Im very happy about the kindness of the 2 people who take care of me. I even had a delightful glass of white wine while Eric was doing my curl. I had a very positive experience in this salon (I stayed about 3 hours) and it was very relaxing and beauty perfecting! I will definitly recommand it to any friend that will visit Miami and want a good beauty and hair salon (as good as in France)!
