I went to see what this "Ron" was all about. I remember my friend had gotten her hair cut here a couple years ago and it looked fantastic. I was quoted $15 for shampoo and cut or $21 for shampoo cut and blowdry. This is also clearly posted on their price board. I brought an old photo of myself in with a cut I liked to use as a reference. Not only did the cut come out nothing like the photo, halfway through my cut (which may have been calculated - what do you really say when half your hair is cut, get up and walk away?) Ron offhandedly said "oh yeah, I should have let you know earlier but your price is going to be $50 for everything". "Everything" being...a shampoo, cut and blowdry. No color or special treatments. So what exactly caused the price to jump up $29? Ron said it was the "finishing" of the cut. Oh, you mean doing your job and blow drying your clients hair to put the finishing touches on it while dry like any other stylist? What a shady, dishonest typically south beach establishment and stylist. Turns out hes the Assistant Manager and loudly likes to boast how much money he makes (as I got the pleasure of hearing while waiting for my appointment). Classy and professional, Ron. He shoves clients in and out of his chair so fast its like jiffy lube and it shows. If I was really charged $21 for my services I would just put up with it as the negative aspects of getting a cheap haircut at a cheap salon. But for $50?! I should have just gone to a salon with decent ambiance and surroundings and paid the usual $50 for a skilled stylist, which Ron was not - despite his narcissistic blatherings to the contrary.

Worse service! When I walked in the place looked nice and professional, not that expensive. When I sat down the guy with long hair asked me what I want, I said that I need to have my hair cut not too short and just make a nice shape, nothing crazy. He said okay. He took scissors and made a few flicks after literally a minute he said "is it okay is it okay?" I thought he just started and asking how do I like back but no he FINISHED, I said no i need to cut sides and on the top co host start being curly, he cut my sides and on the top it took him two more minutes, while he was cutting my hair he was trying to sell me a shampoo and after he start talking to some guy who walked in, he was talking to him and looking at him and cutting my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!! I realized I have to go. After he finished talking he asked me is it okay? I said dont need to do anything else. He took away the cover and said done, my hair were wet and hairs on my neck and face. I asked him "dont you think you should dry it up and clean the hairs?". He dried it super fast and it was finally over. The other hairdressers look very pretty and neat so maybe you can be lucky with them but BE AWARE of the guy with long black hair!!!!! I would never come back there! I live here, in Miami hard to find a nice hairdresser its true but this man was the worst! No manners, super unprofessional, have no idea what he is doing, no care about the customer. When I realized that he cut my hair very asymmetrical, I have to do it again tomorrow and have a super short hair cut hope my previous hairdresser can fix this horror.

never return to this place destroyed my hair bad place Disculpe pero de mi parte una estre es darle mil puntos los cuales no merecen. Que mal experiencia he tenido con ustedes me han hecho un corte qhe un niño de diez anos lo cortaria mejor page $17.00 mas 5.00 tips pero deberian hacer bien el trabajo o contratar personas que en verdad hacen ese trabajo... no regresaria ni ese lugar ni que tenga la peor necesidad de cortarme el cabeno .. estoy muy enojado porque llevo 3 semanas y mi cabello sigue la misma basura de corte que me han hecho. .......

I dont know why Ive gone three times...I guess because its around the corner from my place and I keep thinking as a chain theyd know what theyre doing. The first time the guy who cut my hair asked me to BRUSH MY OWN HAIR because Id recently had a baby and my hair was dry and tangled. But really? Brush my own hair when Im paying them to do it. The next time I had a Jehovahs Witness who slipped a brochure into my hand as I was leaving. And the last straw was last week when this young foreign girl had to ask for another stylists help to do my hair and then at the end loudly announced Id need to tip both of them. How is it my fault and I have to pay more when you dont know how to do your job?? The whole time she was trying to sell me hair color, highlights, extensions and shampoo. Why would she think Id come back for her to do my hair if she cant even cut it the first time? Ill never go back but now I dont know where to go because every other place is way over priced!

Awful place! Way overpriced! Im busy all the time. ..I was in a hurry so I decided to stop by and get a quick haircut. No appointment need, but ...the place is even less than mediocre. Haircut by itself wasnt extremely bad, not great either. The stylist asked me to pay extra just to dry my hair. . Are you kidding me? Not to style it. Just to dry it..... I asked about the price in advance. And magically in the end was triple than they told me. Really? Very upsetting. They lie their costumers. The place is a kinda dirty as well. Obviously they are counting on tourist so they can "rob" them. Shameful! Thats why people refuse to come to the beach. Because of business like yours!!! Very disappointing. Awful experience! Ill never go there again. My advice .. better go to a nice place. At least you know what you are paying for. (Ive never paid more for a haircut. Neither in the nicest beauty saloons Ive been ..) Totally not worthed!!!

Well I just got my hair butchered at the hair cuttery. Im a fella with long hair and Ive spent the last year growing out my hair to the length that I wanted, but I had a problem with the thickness in the back when I wore collared shirts. This was my communication to ******, who has a very loose grip on the English language, yet pretended to understand me well. End result, layers. ... WTF? I should have known when I asked "How was your New Year?" and his reply was, "Yea, thats true." I mean, the front and top are shorter than the back and I still have the same problem with the length and thickness in the back. Grrrrreat. Ive had plenty of good experiences in this location (Gladys, Egypt, Arika), but they always seems to have a couple of people employed there who have no business cutting hair.

Biggest disasterous experience .... Worst salon ever such as Haircuttery on Alton road!!!! Red flag! Nightmare services shown unpleasant,unprofessional & rudeness without make an appointment for what client needed with his nor her hair. Lack of manners..... I never will come back here again for coloring & blow dry!!!!! Avoid this monster the manger / Bose he has severe tantrums issues without pserance.... all stylists do poorly job without knowing how do it right way and use listening skills ... tis worthless to come this place to blow dry on pointless bad cut or color... My best advice is to go different salon where it has provide excellent and courtesy services make up for your time within an appointment whom can make you happy!❤️
