I am thrilled with Lainie and could not be more pleased with my move to the Hair Cuttery! Honestly, I was hesitant at first but always so disappointed with my high end salon experience, both the money spent and the outcome, that I decided to just visit the shop and observe. Why not, what did I have to lose! I have been spending no less than than $300+ a month for 20 plus years on my hair through single process, highlights and haircuts monthly plus Kerrigan treatments at least 3 times a year. I was ready for a change! I quietly watched how the stylists interacted and the quality and satisfaction of the finished clients, Lainie stood out to me. I made my appointment for a cut and was thrilled with the outcome. She gave me a consultation regarding my coloring and future cuts and I agreed with her observations. I also liked that the shop carried and used quality products. I had my coloring appointment yesterday and could not be happier! She added color to give my blond hair natural definition in a skilled even application. She educated me on what home products might be helpful to me. I was happier with my hair than I have been for years and all for a very fair price! My experience was pleasant in a comfortable and efficient atmosphere. I took the leap and couldnt be happier! She also takes appointments now which is the icing on the cake! Five stars for Lainie!

Service was terrible. Hairdresser was far away from being personable. When the hairdresser was washing my hair she told me that I needed to wax my mustache and that they offer that service if I was interested. When I said no she frowned and rolled her eyes. The comb she was using to part my hair while cutting it was very DIRTY, never seeing anything like that. When I noticed it she was half done so had to stay so she could finish it. After cutting my hair she didnt blow dry it and when I asked why she said she didnt have time because there was somebody else waiting on her. When I signed up the receptionist and the hairdresser had told me it was going to be $17 for haircut and $5 for blow dry but when I went to pay I was charged $27 even though I didnt get a blow dry. I asked why $27 and she said it was because I had long hair. This was never mentioned before. When I told the receptionist that she had told me $17 before me signing up she denied it and asked me to leave a tip. My hairdresser look like she was from the Pacific maybe Thailand BUT never gave me her name. Im not going back there ever again.

Amazing Cut & Style! Ally is amazing! I was a little nervous about having my hair done at a discount salon (im new to the area). I tried an upscale salon in PBG (Ill call S.J.) a few months earlier and was very upset with the cut & service I recieved ($40 hair cut with no blow dry, product or style). I was so upset with the cut I recieved from SJ salon, I vowed to never go back. Hair cuttery was clean and the staff was very pleasant. Before Ally began, she sat me in the chair, examined my hair type and said, "now, what are we doing for you today?" At SJ there was no communication prior to the hair wash as to what style I wanted therefore they had no clue how my "dry" hair texture was. The stylist dident even shampoo my hair at SJ therefore had no clue what she was dealing with. Ally gave me an amazing cut and took a great deal of time styling my hair, I left with a perfect hair cut., Im simply amazed. I would highly recomment Hair cuttery (in PBG). Id stay away from S.J. Salon!

Use to be good, now the service sucks. I always call ahead to get an appointment so I wouldnt have to wait, the first time I waited almost an hour after my supposed appointment to be seen, this last time I walked out after 40 minutes. The person I had an appointment for cut the hair of two other people and started them AFTER my appointment time. I wont be back.

Let me start by saying I am so low maintenance I really dont know how she messed this up. The woman washed my hair and combed it and took a pair of scissors and cut it straight across right to left without so much as one measurement. I am mortified. She didnt even measure to make sure it was straight and guess what? Its not. I will not be back.

A very pleasant experience. I went to Hair Cuttery on Friday , and Ms. Tammy was my stylist. There was no wait time, and she did an excellent job on my haircut. I recommend Hair Cuttery for all your needs, and when you go in, ask for Ms. Tammy. She is most friendly, super positive and and excellent hair stylist.

Went in one person in front. Not told how long. Watched two women cutting, cut one hair, yak-yak-yak. Bad mouthed phone in calls asking questions. I think one guys hair was growing faster than she was cutting it. After 45 minutes I walked out. Too bad for them, Im a 40 percent tipper!

Worst place ever was midway with my haircut when the beautician left to do someone eleses color and left me sitting with piles of hair on my shoulders for 10 minutes. I guess she thought i wouldnt walk because she was not done with my hair. I walked she was mistaken.

Hour and a half wait with 2 people in chairs and nobody waiting, never again. Moved in the area a year ago and they never have enough staff. If you have all day to wait the staff is very friendly and proficient but if dont go somewhere else...

Last 3 times I went there, I waited over 30 min. and they dont have a receptionist, so good luck getting any help. Today I waited over 40 min with little to no help.
