Watch out! $620. for a $223. repair I didnt ask for or need! I dropped my sons car 2002 Mercury off for a thumping noise, I thought was a wheel bearing. As soon as they put it on the rack they would have seen the bump on the inside of the tire. I live down the street "on the water" (so I guess they thought they could take advantage of me) They first told me it needed $1400. of repair (intake gasket that was not leaking, power steering that has a small leak, 2 new ball joints. Additionally I would have to pay for 2 or 3 new tires and alignment($60). Mrs Andrews said the thump was from a separating tire but the car was unsafe to drive without the new ball joints. I balked at the price and she dropped the $620 to $489.+ alignment $60.=$549 plus tires. I checked at the tire shop next door to my office in Alabama and was quoted in writing $283. including the $60. alignment. I told Mrs Andrews and she said that her cost were higher and to call around in Milton. Well I did and Advanced Tire in Pace quoted me in writing $270 + $60 for the alignment = $330. She would not go down I told her I was going to pick it up. And then she charged me $40. estimate fee plus $6.00 shop fee. After Walmart replaced the 2 fron tires for $180. I drove it 140 miles it does not pull or jerk or shake. Ive never written a negative review before but I want to protect somebody else from getting bilked that maybe could not afford it.

I had my 700R4 transmission rebuilt here. It cost me over $2K and after just 6 months, i hade issues. They fixed it the first time. Then 3 months later, it did the same thing. Now they say its engine issues, yet my transmission fails to stay in over drive. 2 years later, they refuse to accept their transmission is bad. They keep saying other stuff is bad. I fix it, then its something else. It is pathetic. DO NOT GO HERE! UPDATE So a week after I posted this comment, they have voided my 3 year warranty over a broken odometer. Which has never been an issue until now. Its just a way to get out of properly fixing my transmission. I wonder how many people have dealt with this before me? Anyways, the cover letter has many inaccuracies as well. They have underplayed the transmission issues to being engine problems. Another mechanic says it could be a bad lock up solenoid, bad internal wiring, or even a bad torque converter. None of which are engine issues. Since my warranty has been voided, I can now have it looked at by another person. I will continue to update.

Had my transmission rebuild about 3 or 4 months ago. After driving it for those months the transfer case imploded. I had it towed to them and they checked it out. Turns out that a new tech (that no longer works there) didnt check/fill the transfer case. Now, keep in mind my warranty is on the transmission, not the transfer case. They could have easily just said the tcase failed and charged to repair it. However, the first thing they said is "were sorry, it was our fault!" They fixed it within a week. They also paid the entire bill including the tow. I never touched my wallet. And Tim is my favorite! Good guy, explains things and doesnt talk to you as youre clueless. Hes even taken the time to actually show me which parts broke/failed and why they need to be addressed. Reason for 4** instead of 5 is because when I originally went in...the original estimated quote was grossly understated even though nothing changed. To try to prevent this, ID recommend only dealing with the lady manager. She actually knows her stuff pretty well.

When our daughter went off to college in Baltimore, MD, they checked out her vehicle to be sure all was well, and put her in touch with a quality car care center in her area, so she had someone to call in case of car issues while she was away. Andrews Transmission is the best in town. I Originally took vehicle Hill Kelly Jeep for transmission issues and was told it would cost me $3500 for repairs. Instead of going with repairs I then took it to Andrews transmission who did a diagnostics and determined that dealership was completely wrong in their conclusions and made the repairs necessary saving me over $3000. From now on this will be my go to place for my vehicle repairs. They are trustworthy and looking out for the costumer rather then there pockets.

The worst service I have ever delt with. This company prays on woman, so be sure you 1) know whats going on under your hood OR 2) have a man with you who knows their stuff. Also, they will order parts, not tell you, but charge you. Original quote of 1500 turned in almost 3k. BE GLAD IM OUT OF TOWN AND YOU DELT WITH MY BETTER HALF. My mom has an older truck and she will only take it to Andrews. They are friendly and kind and dont try to charge her for unnecessary work. My only issue with the place is that they kept her truck for over a week once before they could even get to it to figure out the problem. Other than that these guys are great. Highly recommend!

I called on a Friday...Mgr.said she couldnt see my Van til Monday..i bring it in at my appt.time..nothing going on..she waits til i get thru the door...and gets on phone...i wait for ten minutes...finally just left...learn how to treat a customer goes along way...and your the mgmt...shame on you...
