1 STAR BECAUSE IT WONT LET YOU PUT ZERO: I just moved to Mt Dora and was hoping to get that small town customer service feel. Alas, it appears you cant take the incompetence out of the U.S. Government. I called at 4:30 pm on Monday, July 10, and asked about issues with my service having just moved to Mt. Dora from 20 miles away. I wanted to get the tracking on an important package that the other post office said would be here. A female who answered the phone put me on hold and never came back. After 20 min, I called back and the phone rang and rang... no answer. Then it disconnected. I tried 3 times with the same effect. Pathetic. Zero customer service and obviously just putting in time for a check.

They suck. They keep forwarding mail after Ive told to stop 3 times. I went into the physical office and told them to stop forwarding and they still continued to. Debbie the supervisor is a piece of garbage to. She did not care at all as she told thats its going take some timing to fix the forwarding. What idiots work there that cant understand that of it says my last name then you should deliver it. If I could I would love to deck her in the mouth cause was rude as can be she was no help and didnt care that my package was transferred all around the world. All she did was talk over me.

Idiots. Just when I was having a more favorable view, this. Perfectly flexible 9x6 envelope, less than 2 ounces, they insist its a package. Any excuse to jack up the rate. "Its not perfectly symmetrical from end to end." I can put a penny in an envelope or mail a pack of seeds and the envelope would have a bump and go as a letter. This was no different. I stand by my review. Idiots!!!

Had a clitch with a package being delivered,( my fault) Natalie at the Mt Dora post office, went above and beyond to help me out, and get the issue resolved. She stayed in contact with me for updates, and worked diligently to get a positive result Yeah Natalie, thank you!!!!!

Apparently some of the workers think its okay to open your package to show to other customers and let them stick their hands in it while youre waiting in line to pick up said package.

I have been trying to call since theyve opened, always a busy signal. Youd thinks theyd have more phone lines or VM. The corporate hotline is a waste of time also.

They constantly misdeliver mail and my neighbors and I are constantly getting each others mail. This includes priority mail also.
