I dont know their names because they dont wear name tags, but the two African American women who are usually working, one has a bob curled under and one has her hair up with a white streak in it all the time have quite an attitude . I have an online business and have been coming here for almost 3 years (only because it is the only one in my area) so my statements are based on many bad experiences. I dont know her name and have never asked, she would probably give me a fake name anyways, but the woman with the curled under bob I asked for a piece of tape from her dispenser for my package. She told me no, I would have to buy an entire roll of packing tape for $5. I agreed because I had no other choice. A few weeks later I am waiting in line behind an African American man who walks up to the desk with his mail, asks her for a piece of tape from her dispenser, and she gives it to him!!! Surely she remembers denying me the same request? Such attitude these women greet me with when I walk up with a smile on my face, and their demeanor changes when interacting with a black person. I am a white college student and have seen these women treat people who go in there differently based on skin color numerous times. If USPS is going down the tubes, this location should be one of the first to go to cut down on expense. The two women here should NOT have a position that requires good communication skills. They recently hired a very nice black gentleman which I am very thankful they did! Because the women are unbearable.

BOOOOOOO! first...every other post office I have ever been to has the "flat rate boxes" available without waiting in line. This location does not...why??? I guess so you get so angry waiting in the ridiculously long line you just leave anyway. Terrible customer service! I only ever see 2 rude middle age bitter women working ugh! they never speak nor smile! maybe they dont have teeth idk. One day the old lady got smart with me for not having my box taped up, mind you I needed a flat rate box that she gave me and having to use her tape I said " I just dont have my own flat rate boxes lying around at home" & damn they dont have courtesy tape smh........ isnt the post office where you get boxes & tape!!!! They need to put those ladies in the retirement pool asap! everything is out of date in there from the décor to the workers. workers dont know crap.

Ive had nothing but trouble with this office. I had a package get returned to sender because they never informed me it was there. Priority overnight shipping get held at the office for multiple days and then arrive OPENED, when we complained about this they said it was our fault that we didnt ask for signature confirmation. When we asked for the number of a higher-up she said there was no point it was our fault, maybe for the opening but for a package that cost a bundle to overnight to not be delivered for nearly a week? Not our fault. Then my last package, we got a notice to pick it up, and every time we went to pick it up they said it was out on the truck. Finally the 4th time, when we were really upset, the lady said it had been in the back the whole time and we had been mis-informed, 3 times. the service here is disgusting.

All I wanted to do was ship a care package to my girlfriend in Ireland. Ive never shipped a package before so instead of acting like I know what Im doing and making a mess of it I decided to ask for help, I tried to be nice and courteous but the lady behind the desk acted like doing her job and assisting me was the single worst thing thats ever happened to her and that Id just ruined her entire day by asking a handful of questions about what to fill in and where. Id rather pay twice as much and ship with someone else next time just simply because the workers are awful. The FedEx place I went to before the guy took the time to walk me through it step by step too bad they cost more then I could afford. Avoid this place and pay extra if you can, maybe USPS will get the message and and restaff the place.

Im not sure where to complain about the USPS in Cleveland but I live in Little Italy & they never pick my mail up. They even sit my delivered mail on top of my letters Im sending out. I have to always walk it down to the mail box on the corner, which makes my mail a day or two late. I run an online business & I sell things so it sucks to always have my customers waiting extra time than I told them because the mail people are lazy. I never get my mail delivered on time & the mail man even complained about having to "work harder" to pick up my packages.....Really confused about that. Glad I read all of this feedback everyone else left, I will never go to this post office.

Worst post office Ive ever been to or experienced! They really should shut this place down, fire everyone that works there and all of the mail carriers, and just try again. The carriers are lazy (wont deliver packages or often even leave package slips), the people who work at the location are lazy and extremely rude and make up a new story every time you go into this place just so they dont have to get off their butts and actually do something. I recently moved and was dismayed to find out Im still stuck with this horrendous post office! Its really a constant nightmare dealing with these people

Old, historic post office (look up, the mural dates back to the early 20th century) doing the best it can to provide services valued far above price. Ive had to come back, or stand in line, due to staffing - it happens. The USPS isnt instant, if you need that, pay ten times and send your letter via UPS - or plan ahead so you can come back. Im also a young white male and love both the ladies behind the windows... A smile, respect, and patience go a long way. Remember to put yourself in others shoes - understaffed with most everyone ticked at them? Were all human.

Dont rely on the post office to forward your mail. I received the verification at my new address that mail would be forwarded, but nothing ever made it. I dont know if they just threw out the mail rather than putting the forwarding address on it, or what. They were no help when I called a month later to figure out what happened. (The 1-800 number was also no help.) Just make sure you change your address with those you do business with before you move, because you cant count on this office.

Walked up at around 2pm today, right as I was reaching for the handle the lady inside slams a piece of paper on the window saying she wont be back till 3:35 pm and locks the door in my face. I know she saw me lock my bike and saw me try to open the door. Ive heard the workers here were very rude, but didnt experience it until now. Dont come here, cause Ill be biking another 20 minutes to get to the next post office just to avoid these people.
