I have been a customer of Extra Space Storage for several years. This time all of my possessions were in storage since September 2016 and I moved out on December 3, 2016. On December 3, 2016, I moved my possessions out of storage and I observed RAT FECES throughout my possessions as well as significant damage to just about every item that was in storage. I submitted a claim to the insurance company and it was denied. I requested that a "district manager" return my call for a possible solution; however, I never heard back. I understand that the insurance company does not cover this; however, I believe that I deserve at minimum a phone call from management and a refund of my deposit and monthly payments from the time my items were in their facility. I also requested that all other account holders that were surrounding me be notified of the incident to ensure no further damage to their possessions. The professionalism of the company has been very poor and disappointing. Please save yourself the aggravation and find a different storage facility!!!

I was able to reserve something available online very fast. The representative called me right away and reviewed the request for storage. I was able to get a unit at an affordable price. The only thing I found a little difficult was how the parking lot was designed. It seems very small to move my car around and the road its on is somewhat busy. The day I was there,another renter had a huge tractor trailer moving truck on the facility grounds for a long time and it seemed impossible to turn my car round because of the alternative exit they were obstructing. Backing up was difficult, because someone had their Mercedes parked right behind me at the gate entrance. (Total of about 5 parking spaces in front of the office, all filled with cars) and because of that big moving truck, made it impossible to drive around to use another exit. I had to be very cautious not to hit my car on anything.

We visited another facility before stopping at Extra Space Storage and the unit we saw did not appear to be the size we asked to look at, but the individual was adamant about it being the correct size, and then when we were told the price it was an outrageous amount. So we decided to check out Extra Space Storage and I was pleased at first site. The appearance of the entire facility is clean and well kept. Mark greeted us with a friendly face when we entered the office. Mark was very helpful, up front about all fees, and provided all the information we needed to know about the units and facility. We ended up getting a larger unit than we originally planned and for less than we would have spent at the other facility. Thank you Mark!

Ive rented storage with extra space in Atlanta, GA for 1 1/2 yrs and had a great overall experience. I just rented a storage space recently, the customer service was great and I was able to rent out space with no problems. However, once I got all of my personal belongings in the storage, I notice a really bad smell coming from the unit next to mine. My fear is the stench will penetrate into my storage and cause a bad order in my personal things. I contacted the front desk and let them know my concerns. The representative indicated she will contact the owners to come out and investigate.

I have rented storage units from other places and your facility and service is by far the best! From the minute I walked in the door I felt right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful and made sure all of my questions were answered before I walked out the door. I thought that a 5x5 unit would be large enough for my needs but just to be sure the associate took me to see the unit just to make sure, Im glad he did because I needed a larger one in the end. I will definitely recomend this facility to anyone who needs storage! Thanks

Kecia Washington is the absolute best!!! Amazing personality, so helpful. I was so stressed and had a very rushed deadline. She literally came to my rescue, took the time to listen to what i needed, and helped me revise my reservation to fit my storage needs. This is my first time renting a storage unit. The units were clean and big. The facility was spotless. I am hooked on this place. I researched so many places and was nervous to find the right one. Thank God i picked this place!!!!

Best storage facility in town! Thanks to the staff for a seamless and professional experience while we were living out of state for the last few months. Storage units are very clean and successfully kept out all the crazy Florida rain storms. The office staff also is quick to offer clean restrooms and bottled water! I highly recommend this facility and the hospitable staff, and we will certainly be using Extra Space Storage for any future endeavors! Thank you!

Lila Villamizar; absolutely great! She loved my two year old son & even gave him a bottled water and a hug. She was helpful and could hold a conversation. Most people just want to hurry you up out of the door and treat you like youre bothering them. But she was really friendly, we talked about our family and kids and it was just nice to be helped like she cared about me rather than my money. I recommended letting her help you if you ever need a storage unit!

when i came here i rang the door bell and both managers came quickly, which suorised me. one with a broom and the other with a clip board of things todo, what a suprise. before we went to ride on their limo they called their golf cart i was offered water. the only thing i didnt like was that the company makes u pay a dollar for invoice. not the manager fault but woul be nice.

I love extra space storage! The staff is so friendly! In my past I have been in so many stores but since I joined this store I always feel VIP. Especially Ashley is a great asset of this company. Such a fresh and pretty welcome smiles hard to find now a days. She know very well how to market and sell products. America runs on Donuts this location runs on Ashley.

Great spot and top-notch office staff. Accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also added touch of offering free bottled water to take for battling the heat. Two down sides for me. The units are all metal and very hot. Pricing of unit requires additional insurance to be purchased, which is not clear on the website. It adds over 25% to the monthly total.

Mark provided excellent customer service and exceeded our expectations during our visit to Extra Space. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He is definitely an asset to the company! The facility itself is very secure and clean. The units are clean, accessible, and at a very good price.

The on site manager is really helpful and very friendly, the whole experience at this location was great. The location is clean, well lit and secure. From the time a called for a quote until after I finished packing my stuff into the unit, it was a great experience for me and the month free isnt too shabby :D
