Last week I was driving on I4 at night when my entire car started to shake. I ended up pulling over and needing my car towed home. Without having a mechanic (outside of a dealership nowhere close) in Orlando I was nervous about taking my car somewhere new as well as the time frame in which it would take to get fixed. I chose Advance Auto Repair offline based on the reviews and had my car towed there. Eric & the owner Mel, were nothing but nice. When I arrived at the shop, with the tow truck, I then had to find a ride to work. Mel was kind enough to offer & give me a ride in his own vehicle and assure me everything would be alright with my car. While at the shop I witnessed the interactions between Mel & employees, and conversations about other vehicles. Mel made a comment about honesty and how he would rather be honest and tell customers whats really wrong than to sugar coat or cheat them. HONESTLY is the best policy and hearing this made me feel assured I would be taken care of. I picked up my car later that day and drove home. Unfortunately we only had one of the coils replaced (to make this situation economically less painful for me) and it looked like the rest were going to need to be replaced as well. I started to experience the same issue as before & called Mel worried , as I didnt want to be stuck on the side of the road again. He made sure that I could make it home and had a tow truck come right away to pick up my car - at no cost to me - and tow it back to the shop. The next morning while waiting for it to be fixed, Mel again called to check in and let me know the status and reassure it would be ok. I was able to pick up my car by noon and be on with my day. The price was great for what I needed & the service was excellent, they treated me like family. I even received a call on Monday to make sure everything was going ok. I will definitely return to this shop for any future auto service needs. Highly recommend!

Yesterday, I ran into a huge problem with my my car. Somehow my serpentine belt came loose and because its a crucial part of the engine assembly, my entire car locked up and I was no longer able to drive it. Since I just moved to Orlando about two weeks ago, I was not familiar with any auto repair shops and I needed to find a mechanic that was reliable and close enough for a easy tow. After doing a quick google search of "best mechanics in Orlando", I came across Advance Auto Repairs. The reviews were so GREAT that I had to take a chance and hope for the best. My car broke down on Friday evening and I needed to get it fixed asap on Saturday morning. I knew that going to a mechanic on Saturday would be hectic but I had no choice being that I only own one car. Saturday morning comes around and I call Advance Auto Repairs as soon as they opened, and told the owner I was having my car towed there and needed it be worked on today if possible. He said "no problem, bring it in and I assure you that we can get to it today." As soon as my car arrived, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Right off the back he showed and explained to me what the problem was and had his mechanic start working on it right away. While waiting, the mechanic made an effort to give me updates as he was working. About an hour and a half goes by, and next thing you know the mechanic lets me know that my car is ready. I could not believe that my car was ready the same day I dropped it off (a SATURDAY) and all while receiving some of the best customer service ever. And, to top everything off, the owner called later that afternoon to check on my car to see how it was running and told me to to bring it back if I have any other issues. WOW... AMAZING. As a new FL resident, I am proud to say that I have now found an auto repair store that I will be going to over and over again. THANK YOU SO MUCH ADVANCE AUTO REPAIRS!!!!!!

I have never written a review before - EVER . I had to write this review as I truly believe that the service provided by Mel is far superior and cost effective than any any dealer/car repair service I have ever used. I recently had a problem with both my front airmatic suspensions for my Mercedes Benz GL 450. After research on the internet, I found out that this is a very common problem encountered on all Mercedes Benz models after a few years. I had an estimate from the Mercedes Benz dealers and it was going to cost me anywhere between $4000-5000 to replace the suspensions. I called Mel and he called a company that sells refurbished air suspensions with a warranty. There was also a $200 rebate from them if we delivered them our failed suspensions. The company is located in Merrit Island and Mel personally took my suspensions to their company to get my rebate, replaced them with the refurbished ones and the whole thing cost me including parts and labor ......... YES $1900. The car runs great and unless I had told you that I had put refurbished air suspensions, one would never know. I could have these suspensions fail again and still come out on top compared to the Mercedes Benz dealership. The biggest difference is that you wouldnt get a person like Mel who will go the extra mile to take great care of you and watch out for your best interest. That is a quality most of us would wish every car dealship or car repair shop would have. I am thrilled to know that I can call him anytime when me or any of my friends may need any help with their cars. Keep up the great work !!!!

Mel(Anjan) is one of the best car mechanic I have ever met and he is not like any other Mechanic. Mel(Anjan) is very knowledgeable on all cars and do quality diagnosis and give you facts and very competitive pricing. As car owner when you have right facts and information in front of you , its v easy to make a decision. I had issue with my Lexus trunk opening , when I went to dealer they gave very high-price quote and wanted to have 2nd opinion and went to Mel(Anjan). Showroom had mentioned the motor was gone, Mel(Anjan)looked at it and it wasnt the motor , it was the shafts and fixed the issue in no time and saved me a lot. Even for my Camry, he addressed many issues and gave best service and suggestions. In fact on one late Sunday evening, when my Camry wasnt starting , he came home and fixed the issue then and there by getting parts from store, he doesnt had to go this extra step, just to save me money on towing he took extra pain. When there was noise in rare wheels he fixed it at at least 40% less cost compared to other places. I am glad Orlando have good mechanic to depend on. I STRONGLY recommend Mels name and services to every one. He is very generous man and helped to be sponsor for charitable events. Wish Mel(Anjan) all the best
