Jasper contractors knocked on my door back in early 2014 after some recent heavy storms in our area. We knew our roof was ready to be replaced and Jasper seemed to be up for the job. They worked well with our HO insurance and the roof was replaced without incident. The deductible stung a little bit, but the peace of mind that comes with having a new roof was worth the cost. There was quite a bit of debris, nails and staples left behind. I still find them occasionally in the flower beds or in the yard. Luckily none of our kids stepped on them, but thats to be expected and not the focus of my complaint. My issue is that we recently had some of the heaviest rain weve had in the past few years and noticed that we had water dropping from one of the skylight recesses. I got up on the roof yesterday to find out what the problem was and I am no expert, but the skylights are not at all sealed around the bottom slope edges. I can see where there are dabs of glue, but I can almost fit my finger up underneath it. This means that if we have large amounts of rain, that water can get up under that bottom edge and run down the recessed ceiling - which it has been doing. Now we have buckets out to catch the drips when it rains and there are water stains in the ceiling drywall. I called Jasper to ask about it and they were very quick to dodge the blame. In fact, the very first response was that I got from their customer service was that "I should look up my local Better Business Bureau to find someone else to fix it". I would later find out theyre not even in our area anymore because they move around the region. I tried to reason with them, remembering that the installer kept bragging about how this roof would be good for 25-30 years and I could mark it off my list of worries. They claim that their labor warranty lasts for 2 years and despite looking through all the documents I have from the work, I cannot find that statement. I have asked them to send me a copy of that document and have not received it yet. So their labor warranty is for 2 years, yet their work only lasted me for 3 years. I am posting this because at this point I feel pretty powerless to do anything except pay out of pocket to fix their mistakes on the skylights. There was a certain lack of courtesy/understanding when I called to ask them how we could make this right. Overall I am just disappointed in what we got out of the new roof and now I just hope others dont have to go through the mess of having to deal with this that we have.

I am SOOO sorry the day this JOKE of a roofing contracting company came into my neighborhood soliciting for new business and my husband decided to speak with them. We had our roof replaces a few days prior to the hurricane coming, which had very little effects on our area. Thanks to the storm bringing the rain, which is when we noticed our NEW roof started leaking around the chimney area…Which was NOT leaking prior to the new installation. After calling Jasper several times to fix the problem, I would only receive emails with invoices for payment and no one has addressed our issues. Finally someone called and now they are trying to blame the storm as the culprit!! They even threaten to put a lien on our house and stated that they can foreclose if we dont pay the $13K owed to them. Well I say BRING IT ON JASPER!! My attorney will eat this case for breakfast!! This company puts on a "FRONT" by sending out their nice trucks with Caucasian reps, then when youre hooked and sign your contract (which by the way DOES NOT included the estimate amount!), they then send out their mexican crew to rush through the job then bully you into giving up the check!! They brag on Facebook about how much roofs they completed, but neglect the fact that QUALITY is much more important than QUANTITY!!! To date my roof STILL has not been repaired properly and I refuse to release final payment until it is! Next move is to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau and any other Gov. entity that deals with homeowners issues.Anyone looking for a new roof and sees JASPER CONTRACTORS RED TRUCK at your home or in your neighborhood…SLAM THE DOOR IN THEIR FACES!!! Take it from me and save yourself the unnecessary aggravation!! Worth ZERO star but gets one only because its required.

This rating is all for the workmanship on my roof. The roofers did a very good job replacing my roof and cleaning up after. They were very professional. This was a learning experience for me. We had some very strong tornadic winds earlier in the year and a tree fell on the house across the street from my property. Shortly after I got a roof leak in my kitchen area that damaged the ceiling also. My son stop by and fix that leak. Then about a month ago Rafael with Jasper roofing knocked on my door and ask if Im aware there are a few missing shingles on my roof. He stated that he spotted from that from the street. He ask for and got permission to do an inspection. I knew I had to call my insurance at some point but was putting it off because someone I knew did that and had major problems after. Their carrier drop them and they could not get any insurance to cover them because their roof was actually damaged. Here is the catch ,Rafael assured me I would not encounter the same problem because he would stand with me in any proceedings if that happened. He then ask me to sign some papers that his company would fix my roof for any amount the insurance pay minus my deductible even if it is less than what his company normally charged. I could not get an estimate from him on how much the cost would be . I even told him I would call someone else to compare cost and then the fangs came out . I was told those papers I signed was a binding contract. I mulled over this for some time then I decided I made my bed so let me lie in it. The work was completed in a timely manner and Im satisfy with it so far. My advice to anyone thinking of a roof change get estimates and please do not get sweet talked into signing any documents.

I would beware of Jasper to do any new roof!! They replaced our roof in April of 2015. We recently had heavy rains and our roof had leaks in one area. So, of course I called Jasper, very quickly they told me our two year labor warranty expired two months ago and that they no longer serviced our area. She said that they were now located in central Florida. She then proceeded to tell me that the weather in Florida can be harsh and since we hadnt had any leaks before, our roof did its job .. Oh yes, and that we would need to contact another roofing company to repair our roof! After thousands of insurance dollars and out of pocket deductibles paid to Jasper this is what they have to say! Well I did contact a roofing contractor. I also reviewed the intallation/replacement work that was done by Jasper. The new roofing company found where the leak is, he asked me who told us the flashing around our chimney was replaced. I showed him the repair list that I had from Jasper stating what would be replaced during the installation. Keep in mind this is the same itemized list of repairs that my homeowners insurance was given, showing the chimney flashing was replaced. This new contractor then showed us pictures. The flashing wasnt replaced!!! It is rusted through!!! Isnt that called insurance fraud!!! I am contacting my home insurance company in the morning to find out our rights!! Jasper is not to be trusted!!!!
