I started training at The Jungle MMA in november of 2015. These past few months have undoubtedly been the best months of my life. My friend Conner, a great wrestler, had been trying to get me to go. Being a complete novice and new guy to the sport added a little nerves to the approach. I made the goal to be great and change my life. They were super inviting and signed up on the first day I came. We have a variety of coaches and classes, an excellent strength and conditioning program, and a surreal atmosphere. The training partners are amazing. Dont be shy to ask for help or to go longer after class. Mike Lee, Aaron Conway, and Thiago Domingues are excellent BJJ professors. I enjoy Mikes classes cause he places a lot of emphasis on little details that will make your game better. Conway puts alot of emphasis on aggression, being dominant, and having an excellent wrestling base & center of gravity. His classes are fun and encourages us to go against everyone and certainly adds a competitive aspect to the classes. Thiago Domingues is usually in on Mondays. His classes are amazing. Be ready to absorb information like a sponge and train like an animal. His submissions are extremely slick and his classes are always a fun time. For striking, I have only been to noon kickboxing with Coach Grindle. He is an excellent instructor. Places a lot of attention on fundamentals, footwork, and balance. His cordination and synchronization drills are amazing and I practice them everyday at home. Coach Grindle is great at making you tough and embedding the fundamentals of the striking game in your brain. Around June of 2016, I had some personal financial problems that didnt let me train. The Jungle was great enought to relieve my financial stress and let me come train again. They will work with you as long as you let them know whats going on. There are a lot of talented fighters and events that occur frequently. The gym is always hosting events to go watch UFC events or amateur fights that our fighters compete at. Im happy to call The Jungle my family. I am forever grateful and humbled to be a part of this magnificent team. Through training, my brain has been rewired to be a better person, without ego, and to spread the knowledge. My body has gone through immense change. From weighing 200 lbs and having a 29.8 BF% to weighing 160lbs and having a 12.5 BF%. My posture has also improved, energy levels are great, and mind is as happy as can be. I will continue to train here for as long as I am around. GO JUNGLE!

After training at The Jungle for the last 18 months, I can safely say that this is by far the best place in Orlando if you are considering getting into martial arts. No matter your age or schedule, the staff at The Jungle can accommodate you. Its the only place in Orlando that opens the doors at 7:00am to allow for training before work. I usually train in the mornings and am showered and at my job Downtown by 8:30am. The facilities are the best youll find anywhere. They have enormous mat space, a full size cage and boxing ring, weights, kettle bells and a huge selection of other strength and conditioning equipment. Everything is kept spotlessly clean at all times. The mats seem to be always freshly mopped and the showers and bathrooms are always well maintained. The staff consists of highly skilled and experienced martial artists with experience fighting in UFC and international professional fighting organizations. They are eager to help new members and everyone gets a significant amount of one-on-one instruction. They also do a great job of keeping the mood of the gym light and fun. The understand that the members are what keeps them in business and work tirelessly to constantly improve the members experience. I have trained at several gyms in and around Orlando, but none has offered a higher level of instruction and enjoyment than The Jungle. No one should consider a martial arts school anywhere without first trying The Jungle.

After training at the Jungle since January of this year, I have learned that this gym is more than just a martial arts gym. Seth, Mike, and Tom run a great gym here in Orlando and know their stuff. The best part is that no matter your skill level, the instructors work with EVERYONE equally. They never hesitate to answer any questions you might have and definately arent afraid to show you some new tricks for your arsenal. But even more than that, the comrodory is awesome! Everyone that trains at the gym is very friendly. There really are no "big heads" in the gym. Even though some of the athletes know they are better than others, they still take the time to work with the newer guys. If you are looking for a place to train in Orlando, even if it is just to pump up your cardio and fitness, The Jungle is the place to go! DONT THINK TWICE!

The Jungle came highly recommended and I can tell you the praise is well deserved. I travel for work and regularly find myself in Orlando, so I needed to find somewhere to train. The Jungle has a highly knowledgeable staff for wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and every other aspect of training (even weight lifting and cardio). The mats and cage are big enough to jog around in to warm-up and of course for sparring. They have a huge back room with weights and other training equipment as well which was a massive bonus. Their front desk manager John was exceptionally friendly and seemed to know what he was talking about. I bought a shirt and was training the same day I walked in. Its a great environment and I encourage anyone looking to seriously train for MMA or is looking to increase their general fitness level to check it out.

Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to train at several different gyms. I dont really have anything negative to say about the other places, but I have plenty of praise for The Jungle. The diversity of classes - everything from a phenomenal strength & conditioning program to multiple types of grappling and striking classes - is complimented by the breadth of the schedule. Many days the first class starts at 6:00 AM and the last at 7:00 PM. But what really makes The Jungle a great place to train are the people: the coaches AND the training partners. Whether you want to get in shape, get strong, train for fights, or just learn some combat sports for fun, I would recommend it.

Joining The Jungle is one of the best decisions Ive ever made. The coaches and staff are extremely knowledgeable yet humble and polite about instructing you and correcting you. The other members are the best peers you can ask for, very knowledgeable and experienced themselves and still happy to lend their assistance to you. The Jungle Fit program is challenging and fun and the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing classes will help your confidence soar while also keeping you humble since there is always a better student in class. If youre looking for a great MMA school and an even better community of people then there really is no other option other than The Jungle.

Ive been going to this gym for the past five years and i love it. I had no experience when i started and i thought about quitting the gym for the first six months due to some injuries. it was at the seventh month when i noticed my body was recovering faster and i no longer wanted to quit. In fact, i decided to come more often. The coaches are so patient and knowledgeable . Attending class and working out here is the highlight of my day. Every now and then my significant other has a problem with me spending too much time here but Its worth it. it s a fun atmosphere and everyone feels like family here. i would consider this my second home.
