Fantastic venue for serious boxers (from beginners looking to learn the fundamentals of how to throw a punch through experts looking to get in some competitive sparring) and fitness enthusiasts alike. This isnt an LA Boxing or a UFC gym where you’ll get lost in some 20+ person class consisting of nothing more than volume punching centered heavy bag drills and little to no technique correction. Mitt work, double end bag drills and defensive drills (which Ive found to be universally overlooked by other boxing gyms) are a staple of almost every class. You will be taught proper form by Coach Todd and/or Jamel and they will push you to your fitness limit while doing so. Ive boxed at no fewer than 3 gyms in the Orlando area and this is, far and away, the best one. PLUS it’s pay-as-you-go dues without any sign-up fee, which is absolutely unheard of and a refreshingly honest way to do business. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

This is going to be my 1 month review of the place. Where do I get started!! Beginning I walked in I felt a family oriented atmosphere coach Todd was very welcoming to me and my wife. Even the members there were so nice and helpful to teach and eager to help you. I decided to do the elite classes since this falls on my my schedule the best. This is an intense class sometimes hour and half or more. So far I see my self getting better at boxing, lost weight like no sport Ive ever done before. And meanwhile having fun and having a blast every time I go. Also coach trainer roland on Saturday is fun and also intense. Coach Todds expertise are one of the best and would high recommend this place to anyone.

Coach Todd leads his workouts with both enthusiasm and aggression. Its incredibly motivating, despite how difficult the workout can be. He has everything you could want in youre interested in training for boxing. Additionally, he also has a complete weight room. By complete, I mean that there are racks from which to bench and squat, a platform to deadlift from, and a variety of other tools to use as accessory work. He also has a sled for dragging and tires to flip. Overall, Id say that this gym is owned and operated by a coach who genuinely cares about your training and fitness and that he offers a facility that should help one to meet any training goal.

I have only been to this gym one time and I probably never go there again but not for the reasons you might think. A few years ago I had to take my mother to the doctor. It was not an appointment I could sit in on. I walked into this gym and was greeted by Todd. I told him I was a member of another gym. Instead of trying to get me to join we talked for at least an hour about life, boxing and many other things. He introduced me to all the instructors and the fighters as if I had known him for years. He was a class act and I couldnt be happier with him and our conversation. Thanks Todd!!

Easily the best boxing gym around. Coach Todd is very knowledgable and understanding with all levels. The classes are such a great workout, and the people are like family. His boot camps are second to none, and the boxing class will whip you into shape in no time. I cant say enough about Gym Rat! If you need something different then the "Usual gym seen", give it a try, you will have a lot of fun while taking your fitness to the next level.
