This branch, which is the main office for the Orlando area, has a revolving door when it comes to clerks and supervisors. The customer service is horrible! If you are just going in and making a quick transaction is fine but, if you need any answers, help or additional information, everyone reacts to it as if you’re inconveniencing them. They always respond with a bad attitude and very dismissive. There is absolutely no willingness or desire to provide proper customer service. They all start bouncing you around, and every one of them sends you off to the next one by simply saying, “well… it’s not my problem” or “I don’t know what to tell you; I dont know what to do”. Completely unacceptable! And sadly the first person to respond with a “not my problem” demeanor is the supervisor. Diplomacy here does not get you anywhere. Only after arguing, fighting and putting pressure can you get the supervisors to lift a finger to look into any situation because they just want you to sit back and wait while they pass the ball from one to the other and no one does anything to solve the problem! My husband and I have both worked in customer service for over 20 years and have always taken pride in going the extra mile for our customers; it makes us feel good when we can actually help someone. Even when the solution is not up to us or we do not have the answer right there and then, we always take the initiative to provide an excellent service by offering to do any and all inquiries necessary to get our customers the response and help they need; which is exactly why this behavior from them is so frustrating to us.If you seriously need help from them with anything, my suggestion is to get the Postal Inspector or Postmaster involved if you want solutions.

Drove over an hour to get here before closing on tax day. Myself, and the dozens of others coming here after 9pm, had been given info by other post offices, or the website, that this P.O. was open until 11pm tonight for taxes. We arrived to find that meant there was one employee outside until11pm, with a postmark stamp and a mail bucket, postmarking envelopes only if they were already stamped. After waiting in line a half hour for the one machine that sells stamps and cert. mail, it went down for its maintenance cycle, 10 minutes before 11pm, and would not work again. The one employee outside didnt know where else to send people to buy stamps. Who sets up a postage machine to run its maintenance cycle 10min before closing on tax day??? Who advertises their P.O. as "open" when all they have is one employee with a postmark, and no way to buy stamps, envelopes, or certified mail??? Ridiculous.

I received a postcard from USPS stating that they attempted to deliver certified mail while I was on vacation and that it was available to pick up at this location. I went to pick it up and waited 15 minutes while the lady was in the back looking for it. She came back and asked for my phone number because it seems to have been misfiled and they will call me back when they locate it. That was a week ago. I called the 800 number for USPS and waited on hold for 38 minutes before the lady on the phone told me as far as she could tell it had been delivered to the location in Orlando and gave me their direct phone number. I have called 20 times and gotten no answer. SOOO frustrating. This location is out of the way for me to just drive over there and wait again. The point of having mail Certified is to ensure its delivery and yet they cant locate it in their own facility.

Had my mail put on hold July 21st and to be redelivered on July 27th. I was expecting a package the tracking # said it was delivered on the 22nd, My mail was on hold mind you. Here it is August 6th and still no mail has been delivered to my box or my door, I went to post office and they have nothing there on hold for me or any record of my hold. Even after I gave them the conformation number of the hold. SO all in all they lost my mail and package. The phone number for the post office here if you call all it does is ring off the hook. I called it 4 times in a row and someone FINALLY picked it up I talked with them about it and are still looking into it. But you need to keep calling that number till they pick up the line, I know its a pain in the ass, but they will answer. But yes they lost all my mail and still nothing being delivered to my address.

Took my wife there today (October 29) to see about renewing her passport. Had no appointment, but thought we could make one to come back later. To our surprise and shock, Lissett said since they werent busy, she would help us. I told her we didnt bring money or a check and would have to go home. She said no problem, just get a money order. Anyway, long story short, bring cash or your checkbook, you cant buy a M-O w/ a credit card. Lissett and Brandon, the supervisor (whose command of the English language seemed very well indeed) bent over backwards to help us. My only complaint is there should be a notice posted that you cant buy a M-O w/ a CC. Yeah, a trip home & back, but a learning experience. So, happy w/ Lissett and Brandon, kudos =). The heavy set black chick w/ curly hair (counter clerk), is an expert at rude XP

You have one job to do and apparently that is too much. The USPS here in Orlando is the most incompetent bunch I have ever seen. I have been mailing my rent normal first class from Sanford to Oviedo for two years without a single issue. The first time I mail it from Orlando it disappears, never to to be seen again. I mail the replacement for the rent Priority Mail, it has a "Processing Exception" and is now a week late with no delivery date in sight. It seems getting a letter 15 miles across the city is just to complicated for the USPS here. My landlord is furious, I will be lucky if I dont get evicted. I am out over a thousand dollars in a money order that I will probaby never get refunded for a months rent and two months late fees. Take my advice, dont bother with the USPS in Orlando! You will regret it in the end.

Was calling to find out where a package is that I mailed--which was Flat Rate Express--which was suppose to get to the person in one or two days--and it never left this post office!!!!!! I tried calling, and the message machine said the recipient does not subscribe to their answering service!!!! Now I read all these reviews saying out of 3,000 calls there was one answer! Damn!!! I thought this was America--the greatest country on earth!!!! The post office being the one thing that delivered your mail through rain, sleet or snow!!! What the hell has happened to my country???? Now we have country thats completely turning into a third world country, that cant run itself!!! For all of you who voted for those responsible for this idiocy, thanks!!!!
