Ive been here before. I first came here when I transitioned from natural to relaxed. They underprocessed my hair the first time, processed it normally the second time and third time, then underprocessed it again. Now my hair looks janky when I try to do a wash n go because of the different textures. Luckily, I know how to retain my hair length in between relaxers so it still grows. When I was talking with the stylist about the benefits of different oils, she threw in a slick remark about using it for my "crows feet." Im 29 years old and dont have any damn crows feet. Heifer. Their styling techniques are efficient for them but drying to the hair and they dont seem like they dont know how to style relaxed, medium length hair thats not a weave. I went for a sensitive relaxer over the weekend with a different stylist and when she was blowdrying it, two things I noticed: a) I thought she didnt rinse my scalp thoroughly enough b) she seemed to have trouble getting through the hair. I commented that I thought it was still curly. She said "no, your hair is just thick." I guess she thought I wouldnt be able to tell once she flat ironed it and laid it down but, sure enough, I washed it today and my edges and middle of my head is still curly at the root. $85 wasted. Worse, I have a lot of breakage and deposits from the perm on my head from not rinsing me thoroughly enough. Also, her long nails kept scratching the back of my neck when she was rinsing me which was very annoying and painful. Overall, not impressed. Update: 3 weeks later and I now have to schedule another relaxer because my edges and roots have completely reverted as if I never had a relaxer. $85 down the drain.

I understand that when youre coming to a hair salon, you might have to wait and your appointment time may be pushed a little. Im used to that. What I dont understand is scheduling an appointment for 9 AM and having it be 10:52 and your stylist is NOT EVEN HERE. No one has said to me that SHE is running late or wont be in or even offered to take me instead. Honestly, they probably forgot I was even sitting there waiting for two hours. Ive gotten no update after two hours of waiting for nothing. I liked Marquette and I thought she did a good job on my hair but I will not be returning. My time is valuable and All Dolled Up does not value that.

if your looking a really good natural or relaxed salon.its right here!! kernisha is my stylist. everyone there is great at giving the client exactly what they ask...the only down side i would say about this salon is that it is a little bit pricey.for instance everything is added seperately a la carte style. you pay a wash then extra for the trim and deep conditioning. but it is always worth it. if you leave spending close to $100 or more dont be suprised but the service is amazing and you certainly pay for what get.but besides the price an AMAZING black owned salon.

I did not get the service I requested. My hair is natural and I specifically told her I had been trying to find a hairstyle and process I could do to my hair that would last all week. When she was taking the rollers out, I asked her if she was sure this would last a week? She told me it would last a week or two. The hairstyle she did was nice but 2 hours later most of the curls had fell and my hair started to revert back.

Andrea is an awesome hair stylist! I was able to book a last minute appointment for our 11 year old child night before 1st day of school. Andrea worked for 3 hours on tender head, textured hair child and gave her the exact hairstyle she asked for and wanted. She was professional and had incredible patience as well as a wonderful personality! Thanks to Andrea, the 1st day of school was a great success!

Had a great experience at this salon. The salon was clean and neat.My Natural hair care specialist was a pleasant lady named Myriam. She was informative and patient. I felt like it was just us two in the salon. She does amazing work. I had my locs done today and received great service. I had them colored cut twisted and styled all at a great price. I dont care if youve never done your hair a day in your life. You can do it better than the job theyll do. I went here to get my hair done for my birthday, I should of just shaved myself bald cause it was a mess. The ladies who give good reviews must not know better or theyre personal friends of the stylist
