Mitchell Wade is THE BEST salon in Central Florida! Desparate to find a new salon that I could depend on, I searched the internet and found Mitchell Wade. I was highly impressed with the website and information on the stylists. I called, made an appointment and have been going back now for about 5 years! The salon is immaculate, the staff is friendly and the stylist AMAZING! I love that there is no pressure and that the stylists listen and give great advice! I have had the great fortune to sit in both Valerie and Talias chairs and would highly recommend them both! If you are at your wits end looking for a GREAT salon, look no further - YOU FOUND IT IN MITCHELL WADE!!!! (I notice several less favorable reviews on this site, I am sorry they didnt have the same amazing experience I have had. I can share with you that everytime I go, I see people who love to be there! Customers make appointments weeks and months in advance because they want to ensure thier next appointment! I HAVE had miserable experiences elsewhere and am TRULY GREATFUL to have found Mitchell Wade!)

I have followed Karen and Mitch since 1991- -- when we first moved to the area. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Mitchell Wade. The team is polished, professional and pleasant- they obviously love their work! The services that I have received are highlighting, color, updos, haircutting and Keratin treatments. I am very pleased with the quality and value of the services and would recommend them to anyone! They take the time to listen to your concerns and make suggestions. They work as a team to consult on colors or possible styles. The assistants are wonderful, too. The massage you get with a shampoo is worth the trip alone!!! Most of the staff have been there for a long time- which says a lot about the salon and the management. I am in love with the products they use (especially the Moroccan Oil). I am one satisfied client- and appreciate the quality of services this salon provides.

Talia is AMAZING.. I know there are a few others that are good but I got my hair done with Nikki two weeks ago and she really didnt do much for $100+. Nobody even noticed that I got my hair dyed and all she did was paint my tips while I was in the sink.... she charged me for a partial instead of painting.. and said that really what I should be paying for is a full highlight.. I decided to go to a different salon called iHair in Winter Springs and the girl fixed my hair right up. For HALF the price, she did exactly what I wanted in half the time. This is the second time now that I have gone to MW and left empty pocketed with my hair looking almost identical to when I first walked in. Never again... but talia really is the best! if you do go to MW, get it done with her. unfortunately she wasnt available when I needed the appointment (I rescheduled due to travels).

I love this salon! Ive been a loyal client for over 2 years now, and I would seriously trust anyone in this salon to give me a great hair cut and color. I"ve got really fine hair and a lot of it and its hard to work with, but Delores is just amazing. She always suggests new ways to keep current if I"m bored with my hair and she really listens to what I"m looking for that works with my busy lifestyle as a Mom and a professional. Since Delores is on maternity leave now, I"ve been seeing Valerie and shes doing a really great job. I"ve been to many of the top rated salons in Orlando, but I must say that this one really has it all. For once in my life, I really like my hair, and its a pleasure to visit this salon, its so relaxing as well. If you havent been before, do check this one out!

I love my stylist Rikki! I need to make an appt with her soon. I:D I Love Mitchell Wade because they are the BEST at what they do! I like the fact that everytime I go in, my stylist tells me or shows me something different. Loved the hair feathers she was wearing when I was in last! My stylist stays in contact with me and keeps me aware of contests, or promotions that Mitchell Wade is running. I like the warm welcoming environment when I come in to visit. Was looking for a new salon and was referred here. First, the stylist was half an hour late for my appointment, I mean she WASNT EVEN IN THE SALON! Then she told me my hair would look better if I grew it out (its to my collar bone already) she trimmed it THEN CHARGED ME $50!!! My hair was completely flat by the time I got to the parking lot!! I couldnt do anything with it! A week later, I took my son in to have his hair cut and told the stylist I hated my hair. She told me to just deal with it. So I did, by going to another salon.

A couple of years ago I was seeing Guillermo. He was suddenly no longer there, and they gave me someone who wiped out my highlights I had paid hundreds for... Later I learned she was really more of a cosmetologist and didnt have a lot of experience doing hair. I also learned, as I went from salon to salon across Orlando trying to find a replacement hair dresser, that this salon is known for requiring high price services - in other words, charge the customer, or the hairdresser is out. I would avoid like the PLAGUE

I started going to The Mitchell Wade salon in March after moving to Oviedo. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Colin has been my stylist and I cant say enough great things about him. He is very talented and skilled. I have had trouble in the past getting my hair to stay honey blonde without pulling to much red and looking brassy. Colin gets my color exactly how I want it and it stays that way. I highly recommend The Mitchell Wade Salon and Colin

Full on 5 stars, Ive been going for about 3 to 4 years now. My mom and dad go as well. We havent really had a bad experience at all. I just got a hair cut done for school and got an excellent job done as itll look good for when it grows out over the semester. Great deal for a mens cut honestly. I saw someone say it was expensive for a guy. For me, where I like to keep my hair a bit longer with layers and bangs I have to say its not expensive at all, this aint no chop shop man.

I love my stylist at MW..she is the absolute best. However, I dont know why but the receptionist, Judith, seems to have a problem. She is very snobby and acts as if she;s really annoyed to help in any way. Sorry Judith, but I pay good money for my services there and do not appreciate your poor attitude. If you do not like a client you should keep it to yourself and do your job which us to receive people in a pleasant and respectful way.
