Ive been coming here since they first opened and i gotta say its now time for an upgrade. Everything is starting to look run down, from their weight lifting machines to their cardio machines. Everything is looking rusty or machines are all sqeaking and not functioning properly. The free weights area is unbearibly stinky. Its like they dont clean that area at all, smells literally like a horse stable, its like it doesnt have a good air filtration or ventilation so i dont even bother going to that area anymore like i used to. Also wish they can have cardio machines with tvs everywhere like other cheaper gyms do..which is sad because for people paying more here, it def should be up to date on everything. Overall i just hope they fix this gym up, otherwise its gonna be better to go those $10 a month gyms.

What a freaking wreck! This gym just doesnt care and the people in it just dont care!! Dont believe all the good reviews. They must be from staff and friends. I understand the staff must be frustrated and tired of picking up after these lazy ass members, but at 7:30 in the morning there really is no excuse. Someone should be enforcing the "re-rack your own weights" rule! If the members dont want to do it, they dont need to be a member. Theyre probably losing more business than that members worth.

This gym was disorganized when I came in at 5:00 a.m. That is no longer the case. Not sure if staff changed or what, but all the weights are in place, the bathrooms clean, and overall a truly professional enviornment. Have to honestly commend the staff for taking pride in ensuring the gym looks like what LA Fitness is supposed to be. Simply better than all the others. You get what you pay for. This is worth the monthly fee. Dont cheat yourself by going to those cheaper gyms.

Originally, I wanted a gym with swimming pool so I was favor LA fitness. I went to four gyms (2 LA, 1 youfit and planetfitness) before I made my decision. This one is the dirtiest. Dumbbells everywhere on the floor; paper towel everywhere on the floor. The clients did not have the decency to place equipment back and staffs did not even try to maintain the place. They were just sitting there and doing nothing. I would not want to sign up this gym even it is free.

I live in southwest Miami and go to broward college. I have the membership with LA so I could go to many locations. Out of all the LA fitness in south Florida Ive been to which is 7+ this is my favorite. Always clean and organized. Busy during rush hour but not prior to 5:30pm. Everyone there is friendly which is a huge plus for me. Staff and patrons make this place great. All new equipment with vintage logo outside. Plenty of equipment well placed.

This club is so dirty and disgusting!! Its bad enough that theres dirty paper towels on the ground, but when the elliptical and treadmills have dried sweat upon probably years of sweat, it is down right disgusting and unsanitary. Its obvious these machines havent been cleaned in years. The sweat drippings have even begun to rust any exposed screws and leave sweaty, rust drippings. Ewww! And the whole club smells like an old, damp rag.

Location is perfect, hours of operation are perfect, staff is 50/50. Management needs to have the staff maintain the gym. For example, replacing the weight on the racks. As courtesy, member can help but it should not be the memebers duties. Instead of staff sitting ideal at the front desk gossping or going to bagel shop twenty time a day they could be restocking the weight.and keeping the gym organized.

Worst Gym EVER! The AC in the cycling room is always broken, smell bad. You can actually smell the sweaty body odors from each one. The equipment is old and dirty. Bathrooms and locker rooms are disgusting. Lou the manager uses the bathroom and does not wash his hands after potty. Stay away from this location!! I will never be back again!!

Horrible, place smells horrible,bad . Machines never fixed, step master been broke for. More than a month You can smell the bad odor of people, since you walk in. The bathrooms dirty, people nasty throw papers everywhere, dont want to imagine how they house looks like. This gym its worst la fitness I had been. This gym needs a deep clean.

The location is great that is the only us the place is not clean it is not as busy as the flamingo location which is far better kept. Sorry the crew is polite but not doing what is required to keep the place sanitary and clean dried sweat and worst of all t he cleaning get solution has been watered down. I endure it because of time.

This gym is amazing, for the exception of the spa due to weak jets, the gym is amazing, stay out of 6-8pm timen too many little kids trying to lift big men machines. but gym is huge, lots of room, great locker rooms and FYI no contract so who knows what people think out there

The gym & equipment are great. The trainers are the absolute worst, misleading. They tell you its $5/day when its really $35/ once a week for 20 minutes of help. DO NOT GET A TRAINER!!!! Otherwise, the equipment is brand new, as expected its very crowded from 530-730pm.

This place is very nice and cleaned up daily gyms cant control what type of people that go there so like all gyms they can get dirty....as far as the comment about racist people here is far from the truth

They do a great job with the group classes. Best class spinning!!!! The staff very polite, friendly and helpful. They just need to pay more attention in maintenance, always some broken equipment.

I really do not know how this gym gets high marks. Weights are everywhere but the rack. You better have strong ankles to navigate all the plates on the floor. Dirty place! Where is the manager?

Staff does a great job keeping the place clean. I just wish they kept the courts cleaned and had basketballs handy. Also they need to do something about the smell in the locker room.

Its a good gym with plenty of arm equipment. There needs to be more equipment for legs. They have plenty of machines for cardio. If the gym had longer hours it would be perfect

Over all this gym needs an uplift and the carpet replaced it smells pretty bad ones you step inside, other then that you go do your work out and get the heck out of there
