I dont really know what to say about the gym. The signup process was super easy (as it should be given they are taking your money), the sales girl was SUPER nice and friendly. The gym is clean, has a lot of decent equipment and a class dedicated to the Spartan Race (which is why I signed up). My first group class there was what made cancel my membership. I couldnt make the Spartan training and signed up for another group class that Ive always wanted to try, just to get my feeling for the place and how it worked, yada, yada. The class was empty, so it was pretty much a personal session with the trainer. However, the trainer immediately bad mouthed the gym, and asked why I was driving all the way to Plantation if there are many better gyms near my place of residence (a 15 minute ride away). It just didnt feel right, I dont want bad vibes when Im training. Cancelling was ok. I called to cancel over the phone, the manager wasnt there, so I left a message and he took care of it for me. The only thing is that I didnt get a call confirming it, so I had to drive to the gym to find out it was cancelled.

I have worked out at the gym for years. Its a good gym. You see the same people there. They work out hard and are very friendly. The only reason I dont give it five stars are the following: 1) The mens locker room: really tight and hot in there. I workout during my lunch hour and it is always 80 and humid in there. I know the layout probably cannot be changed but please, at least, add a fan! 2) The music. I know it sounds petty but the gym seems to play the same music on loop so every time Im there. I am constantly hearing the same songs. Additionally, and more importantly they have speaker stations that blast the music. I wear headphones and many times I can hear the music over my headphones. Please change it up. Please turn it down a few clicks. 3) Please fix the front door. The one exit door has been jacked for nearly a year. Otherwise, good gym, great people.

I was looking for a gym to workout at while on vacation and I took a chance on Fitness 1440 and I am very glad I did. Very nice, clean gym. Nice selection of equipment to choose from. The front desk was very nice. I will be working out here every time I am in Plantation.

I have been going to this gym for a little over a year now and must say its awesome. Open 24 hrs so there is no excuses. The people that go there are very pleasant which is new to get used to in South Florida. Very good atmosphere.

Cleanest gym Ive been to yet. Never have problems with staff or gym. Always very polite and willing to help. As long as they are in business Ill be a member. 5 star all the way.

They hit members for an extra months dues (which isnt mentioned in the contract they had me sign!), then dont have working air conditioning
