My husband & I used PODS for our move from MD to FL in the summer of 2015. It was perfect! We were not bringing any furniture to our newly acquired fully furnished condo, so we rented the smallest POD available & filled it with our boxes. We were careful to pack things securely and followed the instructions regarding "roping off" parts of the POD so the boxes would not shift during transport. The 1-month minimum rental worked out well for us. We loaded the POD at our convenience & then asked them to hold it in FL until we could accept delivery over the 4th of July weekend. It was delivered on time. When we opened it, everything was in place - mostly because we followed the directions on packing. We were very proud of the great job we did with that! We unloaded it rather quickly & they picked it up the next day. Very cost effective!

We called PODS when we moved. The man who delivered the POD was very good at his job, as well as polite and friendly. He took time to answer all of our questions, even the silly ones. When it was moved to the new address, the next man was just as knowledgeable and adept at using the PODS delivery device. Again very friendly and answered all our questions. Putting the POD in an unusual place after explaining all the possible situations that could arise from our unusual request. Finally, the man who came to retrieve the POD was like the others , very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond, when my friend fell and could not get up he came and notified family members of the situation and even gave assistance with getting her on her feet. We have received only excellent service when using this company. Thanks guys!

i got a POD to store my furniture in for about 5 months and it was the worst experience of my move. first they charge you a ridiculous deposit and then they charged me $135 a month!!!! yeah its convenient that they drop the POD off and pick it up but not worth all that. i would have rather driven everything to a nearby storage area for $40 a month with no deposit. when i wanted my POD delivered to my final destination they still charged me the entire month for the use of the POD when i used it for only 3 days in that billing period. I called and said something and all the employees were nothing but rude and helpless. And the gave me less than 24 hours to unload my POD or they would charge me extra!!! STAY AWAY FROM PODS...THE BIGGEST RIP OFF DURING YOUR MOVE AND IT IS NOT WORTH THE LITTLE CONVENIENCE THEY GIVE!!!!

Note: This review is for the Port St. Lucie location only! My review of PODS overall would be far lower! Jason was friendly, professional and went out of his way to help us complete our move. Think twice before you use PODS, but if you do, I recommend this location.
