I had a coupon I brought in for an adult haircut for $11.99 and I presented this at the counter when I walked in. I waited for an hour and a half before I was called back and when I sat down with the lady to tell her I just wanted a trim, 2" off the bottom, she said "no." Simply no. That she wouldnt cut my hair. I was a little confused, I thought maybe she meant no like she was going to suggest a better style or something but it turns out she just didnt want to be bothered with cutting a womans hair since it "takes too long." Still confused, I didnt know what to say after waiting so long just to be called. When the front desk told her I had a coupon they both started laughing at me. Again, I was too confused to feel humiliated yet, Id never been in a situation like this before. She said she would charge me $7 extra to cut my hair but since I had to get it trimmed for my bday dinner later that night I just agreed since they had wasted so much of my time already. I didnt have time to go anywhere else. I can not tell you how rude the people working here were to me. The lady cutting my hair didnt speak to me once after saying how much more Id have to pay. She spoke over me in another language the entire session and then called a man back to sit next to me so she could also speak over me to him in spanish. Funny thing is, I look Caucasian but my mother is actually from Puerto Rico and I speak Spanish fluently. Which added insult to injury since she made a few slights about me. I still dont know what I couldve done to get them so angry to be so rude to me... She started making weird bangs so I reminded her that all I wanted was a trim and she rolled her eyes and continued on about how picky I was in Spanish. I made eye contact with her and told her (in Spanish) that I understood. She seemed pretty surprised and stopped talking all together but it took all I could not to cry. My total was just over twenty dollars. But more importantly, my experience was terrible. And for some idiotic reason I tipped three dollars. I will never forget how this place treated me and will use this experience as a reminder not to allow myself to be treated this way or taken advantage of again, especially not as the customer. I would never, ever recommend fantastic SAMs for anything. On a side note: I dont know why Yelp says this location is in winter springs but this location is in Sanford near the Walmart.

Aweful. I walked in 1 hour b4 closing. One stylist on the floor, she was finishing a cut. After she was done, a woman came in for her appointment to see her. The stylist asked me what service I needed. A Trim I replied. Well then a lady came in from the back of the salon (a stylist) and the other stylist told her I needed a cut. She replied with a FROWN, I dont want the customer and that she could have me. The other stylist told her that she has a customer in for her appointment. The other one looked at me shook her head and succumbed to take me. When I was asked to come back and have a sit that the other lady could do my hair. Well I stood up and said....... OH THATS OKAY IM NOT HAVING ANYONE CUT MY HAIR WITH AN ATTITUDE.... as I left a small voice said again she would cut my hair......I WAS WALKING OUT AND REPLIED she doesnt need the money obviously and a attitude. Im calling corporate.

I went to go get my haircut at Fantastic Sams in Sanford after work. I only cut off an inch and trim my bangs. I had a coupon for $10.95, so I thought it was worth it since they usually charge $14. Well, I get to the counter to pay and the stylist shows the coupon to her manager and ask if its okay to use. The manager asks her if she included the $5 extra for long hair. She said no, and then told me that I had to pay extra. I dont mind but then she got an attitude and said the "policy " has been to charge extra since Jan. She also has the nerve to put het hand in my face and say that I dont understand price increases! I told her I just spent $60 on highlights and a trim last month so no extra then. No customer service skills at all. I have been going there since its close to home. My business lost..

Horrible experience. I had waist length thin fine hair and wanted layers added for body and bounce. I left looking like someone put a bowl on my head and cut around it. Gail was the "stylist" (I use that term very loosely) She has Absolutely No Creativity or an artist eye at all. Maybe she can do a mature womans wash and set or a young child, but no one else should ever get in her chair. It will be "Years" before the damage she inflicted will be grown out.. Time for very expensive extensions for the bowl cut. This is one of the worst hair cuts of my life. She is not a stylist, as the word indicates, " having the ability to create, and the skill to follow through"....

Love Aurora, Minda and the Girls in Fantastic Sams. They are a family run business and treat you like family. Aurora is my hairstylist and is a master with the scissors. When she is not around Minda has done an awesome job as well as some of the others. The owner is Tops. I go to FS because they do an excellent job, close to my house and it is easy to get a space in the weekday mornings, not so Friday, Saturday. Nor in any salon on weekends. Keep up the good job!

Gail was absolutely awesome!!!! I went in Thursday afternoon after almost not going because I had my three young daughters with me. They were very patient with my daughters and did not make me feel like it was an inconvenience to have them there. She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. I could not be more thrilled with my haircut and will be going back to her for my next one!!!!

Coty did beautiful highlights and gave me a great hair cut! She didnt rush and actually took her time and did it right. I also had my 3yr old son with me and they made me feel comfortable about having him there, everyone was amazing! I will definitely be back! :)

Coty is a very talented hairdresser. I am very picky with my hair but I trust her with color, cuts, and hair style. She never fails. All my family loves her. I recommended her to several people and they also had a great experience.

" Oh lawd stay clear of this place, there Terrible with children! She Butchered my toddlers hair. Very Rude and unprofessional They dont have patience for toddler haircuts!! Will never go back again.
