After interviewing several roofing companies we choose Florida Southern Roofing. Our roof was just completed today and we would highly recommend them. There was excellent communication from beginning to end as well as quality of workmanship. They ensured we were happy along the way and took care of every question or concern promptly. Scott Flenke did a great job educating us and providing various options and selections which helped us make our final decision. Robbie Monday kept in contact to advise us of scheduling and completion. With regard to questions, concerns and snafus we were in good hands with Brian Maniaci - he went out of his way to ensure we were 100% happy and took care of many things on his own. He contacted us on the phone before we could even place a call to him. Everyone working on our home from FSR took care and pride in what they did. Once our roof was completed the house was left in excellent condition with a fabulous new roof.

FLORIDA SOUTHERN ROOFING has worked on two of my homes in Sarasota. May of 2010, they replaced the roof on my rental home. I found them to have a wide range of product variety for me to choose from, the staff was very helpful prior to the installation, they sent professionals to the home for the installation and got the job down efficiently. I also was given a 10 year warranty on the roof. I have called them to repair damage to my current home as well. Florida Southern has always been honest and fixed the problem in a timely manner. I want a reputable company that is reliable when it comes to my home and Florida Southern Roofing is both reputable and reliable ALWAYS!!

Disappointed. Getting house ready for closing, and these roofers were advised of a few issues that needed to be addressed per Buyers inspection. $6,300 later, repairs were made, but not to the leak that was the subject of the inspection. So, a month later, they are called again to fix the leak at issue, and that runs another $4,900. For second job, we were quoted two full days of work, for a 2-man job. They ended up finishing in 1 day. Did they adjust the bill? No. So the second job ended up costing about $220/man-hour for labor. This is awfully pricey work that should have been covered by the first job.

Cant rate them on their actual roofing. This rating is because their website states they service Pinellas county, in which Im a resident. However when I called them, they first asked where I live, and I told them Belleair Beach (which is in Pinellas County) and I was told that they currently do not service my area. Something else I take issue with is the fact that they are in a mailer that came to my house called Five Star Rated Mailers go out to specific cities and addresses, so if they dont service that particular area, they shouldnt be included in this mailer or they shouldnt mail it to areas not serviced.

I had Florida Southern Roofing repair three leaks a one time on my tile roof. The estimator was very courteous, quickly diagnosed the problems and gave me a quote. They could not get to the work immediately, but sent a crew out to place plastic sheeting in the attic to catch the leaks and direct them away form the ceiling until they could make the permanent repairs. The repair crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and completed the work on schedule. The service from this company, both field and office, is top notch and I would highly recommend them for your roof repairs.

I have had a major problem with a galvanized metal roof on my commercial building since 2006. After speaking with many roofers and all declining to work on a metal roof on a commercial building, I was finally referred to FL Southern Roofing. Ricky Hall has been exceptional in helping me get my problem resolved. There is not enough space to post here about how grateful I am for all the help Ricky has provided. I have more work to be done and I will call FL Southern Roofing.

They are currently redoing the roofs in our condo association. Just found out they were using our electricity without our knowledge or permission. Entered our lanai without our knowledge or permission. We dont get free electricity here. Theyre also very messy. Their empty drinking bottles in our yard everywhere.
