When my house needed to have the shingles replaced I contacted several Asheville area roofing contractors to discuss the job and provide pricing. Some of them failed to follow through while others provided an extraordinarily high or low price. DLV Roofing seemed the best in that Barry the estimator spent ample time inspecting the job, providing options and recommendations, and overall explaining his approach to the work. The process was an interactive one between DLV Roofing and the customer, which differed from most other roofers I met with who basically asked “what do you want?” and gave few or no suggestions to achieve the best outcome. Barry instilled in me a level of confidence that DLV knows roofing and will not take shortcuts to lower the cost. Their pricing was not the lowest or highest and seemed correct and fair to achieve a properly done job. The crew arrived as scheduled and immediately started work by first laying tarps across my deck to protect it from possible damage. The dumpster soon arrived and the crew laid boards for it to sit on so that my gravel driveway would not be disturbed. The supplier then arrived and the shingles, etc. were quickly unloaded. Then work began and continued until 7:00 PM in the effort to perform as much of the job as possible. The crew completed 80% of the work and returned the next morning, totally completing the job by 1:00 PM. The crew was polite and considerate of my family and property. The cleanup work was excellent and other than seeing new shingles on the roof I can barely tell they had been here. But most important is that the job was done promptly and professionally and looks very good. The next day Barry inspected the roof, provided warranty paperwork and the receipt. Barry appeared to sincerely desire customer satisfaction and spent as much time as needed with my wife and me to ensure that was the result. While there are likely other equally qualified roofers near Asheville I did not meet them and I cannot imagine any surpassing the high quality work of DLV Roofing.

I was having a tough time finding a roofing company that could replace a roof quickly, including some unknown amount of rotten wood repair, and chimney encapsulation work. (Dont waste your time with Balkan Roofing, they always pass on the hard jobs). DLV was very professional, thorough, gave a reasonable quote, and did the work super quick. I trusted they were giving me the best advice they could and doing top notch work without cutting corners the entire time. They paid attention to my concerns and questions. The crew was a great bunch of guys. Very courteous, thoughtful, and skilled. Cleanup was impressive. They even threw in a new roof on the kids play house!

I cannot express how great an experience we had with this company. Lets face it, replacing a roof is no fun. It is expensive, messy, and can drag on and on. The roofers at this company were fast, clean, and exceedingly polite. We have three small children so leftover nails were a concern. We have not found one nail left behind. One of my children is exceedingly curious and wants to know about everything. I listened, somewhat amused, as the foreman on the project, Darwin, went over in exceptional and patient detail about every step. So we now have a great looking roof and a child who wants to be a roofer when he grows up! Pick this company!

My husband and I recently bought a house that was in desperate, immediate need of a new roof. Israel came over and gave us a very reasonable quote and scheduled the roof replacement exactly when I needed it. He was delightful to work with and was very responsive to all my questions. The roofing job was completed as scheduled and the house and yard were left free of debris. All the people working on the roof were polite and hard working. I feel fortunate to have gotten a referral from a friend to use DVL roofing and plan to use them again in a few years when we replace the roof on our carriage house. I highly recommend them.

Total first class from initial site visit to follow up months later! Estimate was done after consulting and shingle samples supplied. Date was set , checked on 48 hours prior to job and the job was done by a great bunch of workers that cleaned up and took care of all around our house and plantings. Gutters taken down and removed at our request and when a follow up issue was discovered several months after the job, a call was made and the next day a supervisor came out followed up by a work team that did the needed repair. I was told by a very reputable local family of builders that DLV was THE best and I totally agree!!

As a builder, I have used many roofing companies over the years and none have compared to DLV, in many ways. Throughout the entire process there is extremely clear communication followed by unsurpassed installation and care. I have had them install shingles, metal screw down AG panel and just recently a mechanically seamed standing seam roof on my personal home. The project managers make it very obvious that their objective is to provide a superb product and comfortable experience, and they do just that. DLV Roofing is always my first, if not my only, recommendation for a roofing contractor.

I have used DLV roofing several times.They were the only roofing company that would help Sundance install solar panels over my tile roof. I also had numerous leaks that had been unable to be fixed by others over the years that they fixed.This required removing a large number of tiles then replacing them,There was minimal breakage.They also did some extra work that was not included on the estimate but did not charge extra.Highly skilled and recommended without reservations! The Estimator’s knowledge of construction solved some problems with the roof and the crew was great - careful with the landscaping and very smart in the way they handled the cloudbursts that happened while on the job. They also went beyond what was expected with painting the facia boards and did an overall great job. Highly recommended!
