If you have unwanted hair, you need to see Karen of Aesthetics by Karen Marlise. Facial hair for women is depressing and can really affect the quality of your life. In my late teens and early twenties I had to have extensive electrolysis on my chin area, and, thankfully, the treatment was successful. However, years later, due to hormonal changes or whatever, I needed additional hair removal. I went to someone in the Tampa Bay area and it was disastrous. Whether from reused needles or inexperience, or who knows what, I ended up with terrible acne on my chin that lasted for several years. Because of that discouraging experience, I was afraid to try electrolysis again. Instead, I plucked (worst thing you can do) and created sores and holes in my chin by digging -- because after all Ive been through with facial hair, I just couldnt stand to see those black whiskery hairs creeping up under the skin anymore. But after a number of years doing this, I realized I was my own worst enemy. Not only was it time consuming, but my chin looked awful and I was not permanently solving my problem. I decided, out of desperation, that I needed to try electolysis one more time, because I sure didnt want my life continually diminished by this embarrassing problem. So, after looking up many electrologists and reading reviews, I became impressed with Karen Marlise and decided to take the plunge. One of the best moves I ever made. I could not be happier with Karen. Electrolysis has to be done correctly, I learned the hard way, and you must have a highly trained and skilled professional doing the work for you. Karen has decades of experience, the best equipment and, of course, her wall is covered with training certificates. She is the best, hands down; I have complete confidence in her. Since Electrolyis can be a lengthy endeavor, depending on the severity of the case, and is difficult at first as the hair grows out in-between appointments, you really need to place yourself under the care and compassion of someone who is trustworthy and concerned for you. I have been seeing Karen for about 5 months (my hair problem was BAD) and I could not be happier with the progress. No complications from acne, sores all healing and scarring reduced, less and less hair growth, my skin is looking better after every visit. When she treats you, you can just tell how proficient she is. She is very confident about her abilities, and that is crucial in this business. And, as the cherry on top, Karen is tons of fun. You feel like youre going to see your new best friend, but her professionalism is always at the center of everything she does. She also colors my hair, which I love, and her list of services is unreal. She is unique in the business, has a heart of gold and bends over backwards to meet your needs. She truly does put each client first. I feel like she is a gift and I cant recommend her highly enough. Thanks, Karen, for giving me my joy, my life back!

I went to this business to laser all my hair off my body. I am a swimmer and a runner I hate body hair. I knew it would be very costly but, I was so surprised how affordable the owner Karen made it for me. For every area she charged me she greatly discounted the next area. I knew right away she was trying to help me afford all I needed done which, is a lot of treatment. But, she broke it down that I would come in and do about three or four areas and then come back the following weeks after I recovered costs for the next series of areas. She told me whatever I needed it to be we could work out a budget. I am a manager of a Electrical Business but, I just bought a new car so I am somewhat limited to how much I can afford monthly. She worked it out without any interest, contracts and the success after one treatment totally amazed me. I had waited 3 months like she suggested before beginning because of suntan to do my beard..When I was as white as I thought I would be able to get I went back. She turned me away the first time I met her telling me if I wanted a great treatment dont begin until you are as light as you can get..How many hair removal businesses do you know that would do that. That is why I didnt even call anyone else after that consulation. It was apparent how honest this owner was. I knew any other laser business would of never of done many of the things she did for me. She is a very interesting person to meet and know. I really like this woman and hope I am lucky enough in my life to find a women like her. Her husband is one lucky guy.

I am ecstatic with the outstanding level of service I received from Karen Marlise at Tampa Bay Laser Hair Removal. Karen’s 30 plus years of experience and being a National Board Certified Laser Hair Removal Specialist and Medical Electrologist is extremely important to me. I have had numerous unfortunate and unsuccessful experiences with Laser Hair removal scams in the Tampa Bay area. Over the last 15 years, I have been treated so many times and spent a substantial amount of money for hair removal by Laser Hair Removal technicians who worked independently or out of a physician’s office. All of them gave me false hope that their treatments would have promising results. I have experience disappointment after disappointment, as none of the treatments have been effective. I was having some troubles with my ears so a friend suggested I try ear candling. Through a referral I was told to call Tampa Bay Laser Hair Removal. I spoke to Karen the owner and right away I knew she knew her stuff. She was very confident and educated on the subject. The challenge was she was in Seminole and I lived in Brandon (40min away). I called around a few other places and not only were they cheaper but closer than Karens place. Now I dont know about you but I dont look for the cheapest place in town, however I look for the place with the most value at the cheapest price. All the other cheaper places didnt seem to care about my issue, they just promoted the candling and charge per session. Karen however said that she finishes when the job is done. My gut told me to go with Karen and I am glad I did. She took her time and went above and beyond what any of the other places would have done. I am very glad I chose her and would highly recommend her business. In addition, her Laser hair removal prices where thousands less than Ideal Image and Im highly considering going back to zap a few hairs. Summary: Nice and caring, thoughtful, good conversation, highly educated, competitive and fairly priced. Plus youre able to support a closely held business in Tampa, FL.
