Laurie, is very obnoxious stylist. After having a hair cut a stylist usually asks how does it look? Well according to her she does not need to and when asked to just take a little more off she had to explain thats not how I would cut hair but "FINE". Also in conjunction with the attitude she was warned about a recent surgery to be careful of that area, so she was cautious until asked to trim just a bit more and thats when she raked the comb over the surgery site and ripped it open! So the site may need extra care due to her attitude and lack of respect of the customer. To Laurie: You are a rude unprofessional hair dresser and should step down and fill a role that suits your attitude problem, and choose to be a debt collector. Your life will be filled with negativity, anger, and alot of things will go wrong in your life unless you learn to curb your attitude. Enjoy your job, your life, and most all remember you still are in customer service, and should act accordingly!

the girls that work there are always whining and complaining. they just sit in the back, the manager i over heard was re doing the schedule to suit herself and i know one of the other stylists got written up for needing a day off. they also write up their stylists for hearsay which i thought was illegal?? unless the directly heard or saw you say or do something clearly against company policy. and the manager is always changing the schedule, i call before i come in because i only go to one person, but i have to call everday to make sure she didnt change it again. this is getting ridiculous there is never the same stylist there, definitely a reflection on management and general mangement. and... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING HIRING THAT 2O SOMETHING GIRL/MAN AS A MANAGER??? a two yr old could have cut my hair better. i hope he was fired. he was rude and disgusting and shared WAYYY too much of his personal life and detail for ANYONE to be comfertable with.

Beware of the black young girl cutting your hair. I have been there several times over past year never had any issues until this lady. She asked me how I wanted it cut I stated a trim. My hair on top was at least 3 1/2 inches long. She cut it down uneven on top to 1 inch to 1/2 I ch in areas. I was so shocked I couldnt talk but grabbed my hat and ran. I wanted to go off on her but didnt want to make a scene. Thought I was on the show 《What would you do》. Its been a month and still short wasnt going to say a thing but feel bad if it happens to another. She should never cut hair. Wait for a different hair stylist than her. Good Luck.

I think the stylist I had was Lexus. I keep my hair short and neat. blended on the sides and around two inches on the top. First of all, blending on mens hair should be done with clippers not scissors to ensure evenness,especially on short hair. I have longer hairs sticking out every where. The biggest problem was she blended it half way up my head so i essentially have a mo hawk. If I comb my hair to the side it looks un blended. Months over growing my hair out in the front and on the sides basically ruined by one haircut. This is by far the worst haircut i have received and I will no longer go to great clips in St Augustine.

Very nice staff and quality service. Got my hair cut about 11 inches and it looks amazing. I forgot her name but she was very nice and good at styling. I did feel like she cut my hair quite fast though (It took about 10-15 minutes) and the layers looked choppy. But its hard to really notice. Lastly I appreciate the fact that they dont use locks of love as their service since in locks of love you have to be down right poor to get a free wig and instead use wigs for kids even though they take in the minumum of 12 inches. Overall really good, cheap service and I would go there again.

Worst haircut Ive gotten. I cant remember his name but whoever he was cut my undercut so unevenly on one side and almost completely disregarded full sections of my hair on the other. I usually go to Prices barber shop and always get a great haircut for cheap but they were packed today and I didnt have time cause i am meeting my girlfriends mother so i wanted to look presentable instead my hair looks worse than before and now I am going to have to spend even more money just to fix what he missed. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. Always support local barbers, they take pride in their work.

Laurie is the a great stylist. She always gives me what I ask for and she has become a true friend to my family. I felt a need to address the previous review. To read such a negative slandering paragraph about Laurie was shocking. I question the truth of this review because I personally know dozens of friends who get their hair done by laurie. She is entirely too caring for any of that nonsense to be true. If you want a great haircut. There is no one better than Laurie.

I have been going to Great Clips for about 4 years now. And during those 4 years Ive had maybe one bad haircut. People never write reviews unless they are angry, so keep in mind that for the other 98% of the time they are a GREAT hair salon. Also, people make mistakes and might not be as good as their co-workers If that is the case then just ask not to get that stylist again, instead of ridiculing the whole company.

I had a cut by Karen today. Ive never been to Great Clips in St. Augustine before. On a scale of 1-10 Id giver her a 10. She was very personable, and friendly. She didnt rush through it, but took her time to do a good job. I would recommend her to anyone.

Very short wait. Staffs are very friendly and really good at what they do. Prices are reasonable. You can get a discount on your next visit, make sure you keep receipts.
