NEVER BUY TIRES FROM HERE! I bought two brand new tires from here. The next day I’m driving 80 on the highway and one of them explodes. Completely shredded! I’m one hour out of Tally so I have to put a spare on and drive it back. They tell me I must have hit a nail or something. I’ve never had a blowout in the 8 years, 80,000 miles I’ve driven the car back and forth from Tally to South Florida, but whatever I’ll believe it. Three weeks later I notice the other tire looks a little deflated. A week after that and it’s completely flat. I go back and fill it up with air. Three weeks later same thing and a week after that it’s completely flat. Here’s where it gets interesting. I take it in to fill it back up with air and they say they’ll fill all the tires back up for me. An hour later, I’m on the road and my car is shaking violently. I pull over and the other tire of theirs (not the one I went into to get inflated) is completely flat. I check it out and the cap is missing. I call them and they tell me “The cap missing has nothing to do with keeping air in the tire. That’s not how it works.” Maybe so, but an hour before that one of their guys did something to my tire and now it is completely flat. They also give me the, “You must have hit a nail excuse” again, which makes me think the first time wasn’t such a coincidence. I put my spare on once again and head there the next morning. I give them my car and 4 hours later they tell me nothing is wrong with the tire. I say, “What about the other one?” They are baffled. I explain that the flat one is not the tire I came in for, that’s just the one their guy messed with. Again I have to have this conversation that we don’t live in a world where I leave their shop and have a flat tire an hour later and it’s all a crazy coincidence. They say they’ll check the other tire. Another 3 hours go by and they say there’s nothing wrong with the other tire. Seems a tire going flat once a month isnt a problem, but whatever, I just want my car back. Nope. They haven’t switched out my spare with the tire they flattened and that’ll cost me money because in his word, “We don’t work on cars all day for free”. The “all day” wasn’t really my choice and neither was having to have them switch out my spare. Guess I’ll be back in a month when their tire goes flat on me again. Don’t buy tires from these people or let them touch your tires because they will curse them with the most coincidental misfortune you’ve ever seen in your life. The employees are very nice people and very polite but would have you believing the sky is orange before they would admit to a mistake or to selling you faulty equipment.

I went in because my car was overheating. The looked at it and said I need to replace my radiator. They said it was leaking although i havent notice any leakage. Israel, the mechanic said he will give me a huge discount and get it done for $400. When I said I would like to survey other places first, he threatened to charge me a large amount of diagnostic fee(they looked at the car for 5 minutes!) To avoid the charges, I agreed to replace it. After a few hours, I received a call saying they replaced the radiator but the problem is not fixed and they need to replace the thermostat to see if it corrects the problem. It was an additional $100. After that, I received a call to come and get my car. i thought everything was fixed and went back to the shop to get the my car only to be told the problem is still there despite all the (unnecessary) replacements and they need to keep it overnight. When I tried asking for more details on the repair they have done, he threatened that i can either leave it and get it fixed tomorrow or take it out with the same problem I brought it in but pay close to $600. The next morning, he called to say they need to replace the water pump to see if it fix things and its gonna cast additional $600. I was really unhappy at this point and told him I cant keep paying for each parts of my car just to see if it fix the problem. He then assured this would be the last repair and he will do me a huge favor and get everything done for $849 AFTER TAX. When I went to collect my car, the total charge came up to $966! I asked him why. He insisted that he said $849 before tax!(even with tax it wont cost additianal $100+). At this point, I just want to get my car and leave this place. And in the receipt, they were charges for timing belt kit which I never approved! SUMMARY: With proper diagnostic and replacing water pump in the first place, the cost would have been a few hundreds cheaper. They replace parts you dont really need to and parts you dont approve. The guy Israel try to take advantage of you especially if you are a foreign student and/or a female. Overall, I was ripped off by this place. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!

Worst experience I have ever had at a Pep Boys. I came back in to have an alignment re-done on my Foxbody Mustang on 7/13/16. Car was steering to the right when removing my hand off the wheel and the passenger side front tire was getting "feathering" from the off alignment. Tech (Moe) never pulled in the vehicle to the alignment rack and instead attempted to lie to me dead in the face that the "steering box needed to be replaced". Never looked underneath the car and I asked him to "show me where the steering box is". Problem is the Foxbody Mustang never had a "steering box" and instead has a rack and pinion setup with steering shaft w/rag joint. The rack and pinion has been replaced five months ago (inner/outer tie rod ends as well mind you). You can tell my level of frustration at this juncture. After confronting said tech on the issue, he broke the door handle (as I walked inside to speak with the mngr, Phillip) on the drivers side and could no longer gain access to the cabin without pulling the handle from the inside of the door. I spent my own time later that evening dismantling the entire drivers side door assembly and replacing the door handle myself right before dark. I have called in (3) different times to customer service and we have not reached a resolution on this matter. All we have done is just "agree to disagree" on the matter with the existing store manager. This is more frustrating on the dishonestly and waste of time portion than any of the monetary replacement. This is underneath the quality of what Pep Boys stands for and Im highly disappointed at this experience. This has occupied a good portion of my time and dismantling a door assembly is not a fun experience to do before sundown.

Awful place with liars all throughout. I took my car there a little over a month ago to see why my car was drifting hard right. They said they would look into that and also give a summer prep package with tires rotated, alignment, oil change so forth included. Sure, I needed that stuff done anyway. When I got my car back 6 hours later, not only was the alignment not fixed, my tires had not been rotated either. Yes, Pepboys I mark my tires to know if youre trying to screw me. A month passed and I can finally bring my car back in. The manager Israel greats me, listens for 4 seconds, tells me to hold on takes a phone call, I continue, he then tells me to hold on again while taking a call then someone in pajamas walks in and hands him his food and he starts to go through it without hesitation. I leave my car there and he says they will take care of it and re-do the tires and package. I received 2 phone calls from them asking "so, what all is being done on this car?" Really, guys?! When I arrive they have no quote, they have no estimate and they say its the control arm now, why couldnt you find that the first time? O AND THEY DIDNT ROTATE MY TIRES A SECOND TIME AROUND!!! All in all this place is a scam and they constantly lie and still peoples money. I would not recommend this store to anyone for anything. You guys suck!
