took our truck in for some warranty work they told me it would be 2-3 days at the most . now were being told it wont be ready for another week . they just ruined our holiday . my wife talked to the warranty company and they said Tyler or some one else just put the claim in 30 minutes ago after they had it 4 days . I called them the day before myself and they said they have not heard anything from the shop . how do you take your car to a shop to get one thing fixed and all of a sudden something else is broke now ? sounds like incompetent mechanics . I never told them I went to school for auto mechanics . but they think people are DUMB well Im not Ive worked on cars my whole life with my dad before I went to school and I know you can damage something else trying to fix some thing any mechanic can attest to that . why couldnt they admit they messed up a fix what they broke . they couldnt they wanted to file another claim so they could add on too the $1030 bucks theyre charging the warranty company . now they want us to get a rental car after we just paid our car note . the should be offering a loaner car but there not they want us to pay for the rental then wait to get reimbursed 2 more weeks . I have learned that you cant trust the good reviews on here . because I will have to catch uber to work because of there bad service . I hope they enjoy there holiday riding to see there familys because me and my wife will be sitting in the house because of them telling us it will be 2-3 day . and its our 1st memorial day in Georgia . guess this is southern hospitality from barber auto repair .

This Auto shop had myself and my family sit in the waiting area for a long period of time, more time then it takes to change a battery. AFTER much time had passed I asked whats the problem is anything wrong with my car, the reply from the counter person was we are waiting on your battery. IF I HAD never asked I would have just been sitting in the waiting area waiting on my car that, I was sure being worked on (changing the battery) After talking with the counter person about why I was not inform that they didnt have my type of battery, I learned he had called a dealer of batteries and it would take another 30 mins., No one ever came over to explain this problem or how they could fix it, This Auto Shop just let myself and my family sit in the waiting area, as if we dont have anything else to do, but sit in this waiting area. THIS IS A MOM AND POP PLACE and mom and pop type of service is what you will get, you get what you pay for, For me this trip was from my warranty so they picked the place. DONT COME HERE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO. ALSO : while sitting in the waiting area the counter person start s to talk about a customer that had left calling the person/customer a stupid red neck...said "thats the stupidist white boys Ive ever seen and it lighting and maybe the lighting my help to strighting them up"..wow and this was said while I was sitting in the waiting area...wow, the other customer paid for a service and should have not been talked about when he left this auto shop. So all in all Dont use this shop, its unprofessional............ Talking about the customer when they leave.......

After reading some of the prior reviews I felt it necessary to leave my own review. I have been using Barber auto air for the past 11 years I have never had a bad experience at this automotive shop. While I personally dont know Wes, I have been dealing with him having my car is repaired. During this time of dealing with him and the automobile repair service I have learned that he is honest, and has done his best to help me each time I have called him. I think its sad but a few people, have left bad reviews when it seems to me, that the problems they had were a result of their own lack of knowledge and patience Over the years I have sent many of my employees to this shop to have their cars repaired, all of the employees have given me positive feedback, and thanked me for sending to this shop. I would highy recommend this shop.

Fantastic group here , hard workers and honest . I brought my wife car in she bought thru Drivetime and Tyler got us in and the mechanic did amazing job fixing the car . It rides and runs like brand new and I am very pleased with work they did . Not to mention josh came assume was mechanic very knowledgable and explain details about my car . Amazed you get this kind service from a mechanic to come out and speak to us about my car Tyler was super nice and understand my needs and they all worked hard getting me in and out Great job wil be back and recommend all my friends family God bless

Van A/C stopped working and with the weather warming I needed to get it fixed. Id used Barber several times before and was very satisfied with their work, work ethic and prices so I took it in for an estimate. They called back in a few hours with the results; road debris had smacked into the coil and ruptured it. I agreed to have the work done and it was ready the next morning. Their price was very resonable.

The manager WES is RUDE and UNHELPFUL. We picked up our vehicle and it was SEVERELY DAMAGED. We went in to speak with him, and he was so nasty to us and when we explained what was wrong with our vehicle all he would say was "okay. okay." and never apologized, and never explained what had happened. He actually BLAMED US.

Barber Auto shop is not a customer friendly place, more of a wast of time. They diagnose the wrong thing on your car and want you to pay for it and when you try to confirm if they did the right thing on your Car before signing their invoice, they turn hostile on you. Awful service and awful customer service.

My first time to use this shop and my experience was terrific! I did not have an appointment and needed some quick repair to the A/C in our 24 passenger bus. Tyler went out of his way to get the bus in shape for a long hot trip! Price was very reasonable! Terrific shop that I will continue to use!

My truck ac was not working, brought it to them and instead charging me several hundred dollars, They figured it out , didnt have to replace anything Shimmer the clutch pulley perfect ac!!!
