I have been going here for oil changes since I obtained my car 2 years ago and the previous owner also brought it here while she lived here. Until recently, Id never had them do any other services on my vehicle. This time, in addition to an oil change, I needed a few codes ran to see why my check engine light was on and I needed a tire dismounted/mounted. I dropped my car off at 9:30am and did not hear anything about my vehicle until 1:00pm when I had to call them (twice) to ask for an update. This annoyed me considering it should not have taken that long to do these services, but I digress. The reason for my 2 star review is not because of the time it took to service my vehicle, but because of the quality of the job done. After my oil change, I always check to see that they have topped off my fluids and I check my air filter. Part of the oil change includes an inspection, which they say checks the air filter. When I checked my air filter, it was disgusting. I asked if the tech mentioned anything about it and they said no. I decided to leave and get an air filter elsewhere and replace it myself. This is an incredibly basic thing that they could have let me know. In addition, if Id not read my receipt, I would have never realized that I needed a brake and transmission flush. Again, why was this not communicated to me as I was checking out? The biggest issue, however, was the fact that after driving off, I noticed a vibration that felt like I had a flat tire. I checked and all my tires were fine and I wondered if it had anything to do with the balance of the tires. I brought my car back the next day and they checked the balance of my tires and sure enough, the two front tires were unbalanced. The tire they supposedly balanced the day before was one that came up as unbalanced. They said they balanced the front tires, but I am still experiencing vibration. I have added air to my tires to see if that could be a potential problem and it didnt help any. I am incredibly frustrated since I had absolutely no drivability issues with my car prior to bringing it to these people. Now, I will have to pay more money to fix a problem that should not have occured in the first place. If you want an inexpensive oil change, this is the place to go, but after this experience I would not recommend trusting them with other services. At this point, I am willing to pay more to take my car to a trusted company than these guys. I

My girlfriend took my car in here while I was at work because I needed a flat repaired. They talked here into buying new tires that 1) Im not even sure were needed and 2) they did a very poor job of putting on. When she paid they swiped her card twice and told her it didnt work either time and that she would have to pay in cash or check, so she paid in cash. The next day we find out that both times they swiped her card had worked just fine. They tried to charge us three times for the tires! The bank had caught one, but the other had already cleared so they successfully charged us twice (more than $500) for two tires. Weve been on the phone with them over a week and they still havent returned the money. We keep getting the run around from them that they credited the bank and it just takes time to show up on our account. Weve submitted this to the bank as fraud and the bank is now going after the money, but guess what they are apparently fighting the bank on returning the money at all. I guess now they meant to charge us $750 for the two tires. Not only do they perform pretty sloppy work, these guys are some of the biggest thieves I have ever seen. They should be in jail.

I have used this service station many a time for routine oil changes. Today, my new Honda Fit was making a terrible clacking noise as I was driving down 400S, commuting home from work at around 430. Had visions of having to rent a car because thered be some terrible problem. Called ahead of time to let the guys know I was coming. I even stopped on the way home to see if there was anything dragging underneath the car and couldnt see a thing. As soon as I walked into the store and described the problem, one of the service men immediately identified the problem, which was that the oil pan had become unsecured. He put it up on the lift, replaced the screws, checked the pan, all within about 15 minutes. They didnt even charge me for this service. I cant remember the name of the guy that helped me but he was very friendly and had beautiful blue eyes. Anyway, after being freaked out about there being something terribly wrong with my car and driving home 56 miles from Dawsonville, listening to that intermittent clanging, it sure was nice to have the problem fixed so efficiently and with such friendly and professional service.

I took my car in around January to have a 60,000 mi service. My bill came to almost $800 AFTER refusing multiple optional services they recomended. At the time I agreed to have my front brake pads changed, but on my way home I noticed squealing that hadnt been there before. I waited to take the car back in hoping the noise was temporary, but it didnt go away. The first time I dropped the car off to have it checked, they said they hadnt heard any noises. I returned, and took one of the mechanics on a test drive. He agreed to hearing the squealing, but when I came back to pick up the car, the noise was still present. I took the car in a third time, they said the replaced the pads, but the noise was still there. At that point I was tired of wasting my time, even though Id have to live with the noise. I requested a refund, and was told that I could have a refund if I gave them the break pads back. Thanks a lot guys!

I drive a Kia Sedona that just hit 30,000 miles. I took it in on January 10 to this place to get a free oil change with a coupon I received in the mail. I also asked for an estimate on a 30K service, indicating what the manual said needed to be done. Their estimate for the service was... get this.... $704.00!!!!!! I needed to get some duplicate keys made anyway that only the dealer could make, so I called Gwinnett Place Kia to see what they would charge for the service. Their charge was only $42.39. Im shocked that this store is still overcharging and trying to do unnecessary work when they were just recently featured on a news show that exposed repair shops that overcharge customers. I guess it would not be a mistake to use them for very routine work, like oil changes and tire plugs, but do not trust their recommendations for any other work. Always get a second opinion and estimate.

Ive given these yahoos a few trys over the years and always end up regretting it. They lie about finish times, suggest unneeded repairs, do sub-standard work, and are completely unapologetic for being so freakin BAD at what you pay them to do. Do yourself a favor and drive a few extra miles to let, well, anybody else work on your car. I just got back from there, paying them over $1,200 for new tires, and it ended up taking about 28 hours to get it done from the time that I paid them for the tires. When they finally got to my vehicle they told it would be 1.5 hours and it ended up being over 3, with me being the last customer. They couldnt get in their cars and race out of the parking lot fast enough when they handed me the keys. No "thank you sir, sorry it took so long", hell, they didnt even say thank you at all! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
