I live in NC and my daughter in Atlanta. My daughters car died, and from the positive reviews here I chose to have it towed to Certified. The problem was intermittent and disappeared after the tow, nevertheless I asked them go over the car in the hope they could recreate the problem and put things to rest. They kept the car two days both trying to generate an on-board diagnostic code and separately testing fuel pump pressure (not logged by the cars computer to cover that possibility) with engine hot and cold. Only $75 for an extensive effort, nor did they shotgun the car with parts and labor guessing. When the problem re-occurs and real repairs can be made, they will have my business. Im an engineer and recognize competence. They have it, which translates as not guessing at your expense. Likewise, their honesty is self-evident.

I went to C.A.R. on a neighbors recommendation. I was new in town and my car was acting up. When I called, Vic was really knowledgeable about my car model and recommended I call the dealership about the recall they had once offered. Because the recall had expired and Certified Auto Repair offered the lowest price (by a longshot) to replace what the computer indicated, I gave them my business. After Certified fixed the part and the car was still having trouble, the dealership found it to be a problem with the computer itself. As a gesture of good will, Certified Auto Repair refunded all labor costs on the part they replaced. I really appreciate their honesty, helpfulness, and fairness, and I would recommend these guys to anyone. They will tell it to you straight.

Had a great experience. Their prices were reasonable (cheaper than the dealership quote we received), and I felt like they were honest with us (for example, they first read the code for the check engine light, and gave us an initial estimate, but once they got the car opened up and saw what was actually going on they ended up giving us a second estimate which was less money).

I live downtown and have had CAR do almost all the work to my Nissan. They are the nicest guys, and very fair in pricing. For me, its worth the drive. Its nice to see them get the recognition for the great work they do. Fast, fair, and courteous.
