BEWARE! NOT PLEASED! My car vibrates very badly when I have to press the gas pedal or when the car has to "isle up" to increase speed. Initial thoughts were that the gas cap was probably not on tight enough. Not so. Took the car to CB. They specifically told me the Engine Mounts needed to be replaced ($1400) as the engine itself was moving around while the car was in motion; and this contributed to the car vibrating. I trusted their guidance and had the engine mounts replaced. When I went to pick up my car the 1st thing Rex tells me is the car may still experience “vibrating” when it switches gears. That was my sign that these guys swindled me. Sure enough I pull out of their parking lot and onto Roswell Rd; instantly the car vibrates. No change in how my car drove whatsoever. After taking the car back and leaving it again, for them to check things out, there was still no improvement. Later another mechanic there wanted to perform a fuller diagnostic on the car to see what else could be the problem. Yes I would have to pay for the diagnostic. After stating I was disappointed and that the only reason I agreed to the engine mount repair is because they stated it contributed to the vibration of the car, Daniel, the manager, says "well the car has to drive better because the mounts were broken." Engine mount repair is not why I took the car to CB. I took the car to CB due to the car vibrating. This location took advantage of me and swindled me out of $1400. Also beware of some of the posted comments. There’s nothing to prevent employees or fake posters from writing positive reviews about Christian Brothers Automotive and giving it 5 star ratings for the sake of winning over potential customers through deceit. RESPONSE TO THE OWNERr: CB you lack integrity even in your response. Everyone please note the generic response to my concern and issue. “Daniel the owner” never once addressed my complaint of being swindled out of $1400 for unnecessary engine mount repair because he knows he ripped me off. To say that you “had to fix one thing to make sure there’s nothing else wrong with the vehicle” says that your shop should have performed a thorough diagnostics prior to simply picking an expensive repair and convincing me to have it completed so you could make money. I took my car to 3 other auto repair outlets only to be told that engine mounts are not and would not be the contributing factor to my car vibrating as it does. Unfortunately it’s potentially a transmission issue. The $1400 that “Daniel the owner” stole from me can be placed towards the potential new transmission. Most of their responses to the posts are very general and does not address the customers concerns and issues. They’re just now responding to complaints written 6 mos ago. I suspect CB doesn’t remember the full story of what took place 6 mos ago so how can one adequately respond, with Integrity. Again, CBs are SCAMMERS.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NAME . I will not be going back to this repair shop. I have a 2001 Honda Civic which was overheating, so I took the car to Christian Brothers down the street from me in Sandy Springs to be service. I could have initially fixed the car myself but I didnt have time because of work. So before I took my car to the shop I am thinking the problem could be radiator or thermostat related. So as i drop my car off they call me back with the diagnostic saying that my car has a blown head gasket (which the car didnt have any symptoms of this at all). They say it would be 1500 to reseal the head gasket or $ 3000 to replace the engine block. For some reason they thought they could persuade me go along with one of the suggested repairs but I knew the diagnostic could not be the problem (little did they know I am an electrical engineer, so I know a little about repairs.) So i rejected to not have the car fix at CB. As a direct result I choose to fix it myself. So to make a long story short once I changed the thermostat the car STOPPED overheating. I am able to drive the car everyday and out of town with no problem at all. So a simple fix saved me tons of money. In conclusion despite how good the customer service is or how clean the auto shop may have been, they misinformed me of a simple fix issue to try and make more money. So if you do take your car to these people make sure you do your homework so you can know if you are being cheated or not. If you dont know anything about cars I suggest you take someone with you that does because they will have you replacing parts that do not need to be replaced. Along with their high labor charges understand these things before doing business with them because this company is out to make the biggest profit ofF the biggest lie they can their customers to believe.

I agree with a number of the concerned posts on this site. I spent over $4k to service my Mercedes S500 at this shop. I asked them to replace the front passenger strut but instead they replaced everything BUT the strut including the Upper Control Arm passenger front. I found a better shop. They took care of all my suspension needs including a new air strut for a quarter the price this shop quoted (installed). Additionally, the Upper Control Arm on the passenger front that this shop told me I needed, and I allowed them to install, is now making noise. It wasnt OEM, no warranty past 12 months, and now Im stuck replacing something this shop told me I needed and its only been 18 months. Doesnt seem reasonable. They mark their non-OEM parts up significantly and dont tell you. When they fail, because theyre not OEM, 12 months later youre stuck paying again for something they recently fixed. Make sure you get the part receipt from these guys and have them prove its OEM. When I called and asked them to honor the warranty and I would have the other shop call them they said no. What a scam! Id rather pay for repair a second time within 18 months than have to deal with these folks. Finally, The last time I left the car there someone on their team set a wrench or tool box on the rear window and it cracked it. They never said a word or left a note I picked the car up after close and noticed it and left a message. I also sent an email. I didnt get a response to an email from the Owner until at least a couple weeks later. At that point I was just fed up and didnt even bother to respond. I just found this new shop. Ive never taken the time to write one of these reviews online but I would highly recommend that you read all the negative posts here and then decide. Daniel

I love this place, and Ive now convinced my family to use this company where they live. When I go in I never feel cheated or taken advantage of, which always happens when I go to NTB. Ive had a good deal ($$$) worth of work done here on my last car. I had no questions handing over the money as they physically showed me the issue with my tire (separating) and brake bracket (broken). I scheduled an appointment and waited in the lobby while they worked on my car. I just want to mention here that I love their waiting area. Ive sat in several mechanic waiting areas and never felt so comfortable. I was able to work comfortably while I waited. They even made cookies and brought them out for everyone. At one point one of the mechanics from the back came to the soda machine to buy himself a drink. He stopped and asked if I would like anything to drink. Which I thought was very nice of him. Before I knew it my car was done, and it was time to go. The mechanic mentioned that I would also need an alignment very soon, he printed the paperwork showing how the alignment was off and gave it to me to take home. He told me it was important but didnt PUSH the service on me or make me feel like he was telling me to get another $100 out of me. He simply suggested I get it done in the next week or two, and that was it. Considering I had just spent around $450 on new tires and my brake bracket I appreciated him letting me know to plan for another service in the coming weeks. I called a few days later to make an appointment for the alignment, and will continue to get my car serviced here. Their service and quality of work is amazing!
