Awful! The only reason I have ever gone here is because I can get an appointment on short notice, which should have been my first clue. The stylist globbed on color and used a board to "assist" with the foils. Sorry but Im paying quite a bit to have my hair colored by this person, I do NOT want to help out with this process. She berated me about getting my hair cut which I most definitely did not want to do. When I was processing under the dryer, because of all of the color she matted into my hair, the color melted and started to drip. There was no one that was close enough for me to grab to ask for my stylist. Once everything was washed out, she wanted to show me the color and began to put in products and blow dry my hair. I have curly hair and this salon obviously does not have the slightest clue on how to handle it. She didnt use the right products, kept roughing up my hair and blow drying it, and then decided it was a good idea to comb it which makes curly hair frizzy. After this sad attempt to manipulate everything to looking good, she tells me that curly hair is hard to deal with because everything makes it frizzy. If you do not know how to style curly hair, let me do it! I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

The Very Best!!! I love this cozy and elegant salon. Thang, the owner, is so sweet and welcoming to everyone who walks in the door. Shes been cutting my, and many of my friends and families, hair for 5 years now. Shell cut your hair in a way that will accentuate all your best features, within your parameters of course. My wedding party and I had our updos done here and they were all beautiful. Thang even opened up the store early for me, with no additional charge, so we could all get done in time. If youre a guy, go see Trent, hes the greatest mens stylist Ive ever seen. My husband was hesitant before going, but after going to Trent hell never go to Supercuts again. All in all, this is a truly wonderful salon.

Went in yesterday because 18$ haircut for men (somehow that magically turned to 24 and I wasnt really told why), ended up getting my hair cut really badly. Went back to fix it and the people were really rude to me and unprofessional and didnt listen to what I was saying. Ended up leaving with a lopsided haircut and down almost 30$ so now I cant afford to get another haircut. Tried to fix it myself but only made it worse. Thought about asking for a refund but dont wanna deal with being told to "just get biotin and your hair will grow back" again. If you wanna avoid the nightmare Im going through, stay far far away from this place. Telling all my friends and family to stay away too.

HORRIBLE ORANGE COLORED HAIR AFTER $72 PARTIAL COLOR JOB, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I went there for a haircut and was upsold a "partial" color (roots needed touchup). The wrong color was applied with a brush to about 3" of hair, no foil used, one bowl of color and no drier. What a waste of money, I couldve done better with a box of color from Walmart for $12.00. My haircut isnt want I asked for either and it was $20.00. I asked for my money back for the color job but the owner told me "NO" she isnt giving it back! It was between me and the stylist, (shes still thinking about it). WHAT A JOKE, VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!

Ive always had good experiences regardless of whos cut my hair, and my hair is not always easy to to manage. Jessica and Candice are my go-to stylists, but Thang cut my hair once and did a wonderful job on very short notice just before closing. Jessica always does a great job with eyebrow waxes, and is very gentle. From time to time I have had to wait a very long time, but that usually only happens at the end of the day if I fail to make an appointment, which is a problem I consider to be my fault. The prices are reasonable for cut and style. I cannot attest to value/quality for color as I have never used that service.

Ive gotten my haircut at this salon 4 times/every time and im probably going again tomorrow! I got my first haircut here and my mother was so scared it was going to go wrong but my hair was beautiful after! They treat you like family here and Candy (my families regular) is amazing. Shes like family to us. All together I 100% recommend this salon if you live or have recently moved in the area and looking for a new salon! Lets start by saying i let Trent know about my previous visit there and how i was disappointed. He assured me i would be satisfied. On this visit I had my lashes done by Trent. That night a few of the lashes fell off. I went in the next day and he fixed them. The next day the same thing happpened. I was on vacation and decided to remove all the lashes without any problems. I will never go back here to have my lashes put on. Total waste of $25 on two seperate occasions!

This has been by far the best salon experience I have ever had. I had Donna and she was great! Shes so sweet and really wants you to leave happy. This salon caters to all races ( I am african american) and does a great job at a very affordable price (Im on a college budget). I will definitely continue to get my hair done there in the future and will recommend to everyone!

The people working there are nice and courteous, however the lady who cut my hair didnt listen to me AT ALL. I showed her a picture of what i wanted (I wanted to keep my length but layer/volumize it on the top. She proceeded to chop away at my hair and my bangs are super short :( I do not recommend this place at all.....

Ive been waiting for my appointment for an hour. Im ready to leave but I was just told Candice will cut my hair instead of Donna. Way to impress a client on their first appointment. Lets see how they cut and style my hair. I couldn't wait to leave my review until then.

I got a great haircut here today by Anna. I called Friday and got an appointment the next day. I got a really cute short cut. It looks great and she told me to come back if I didnt like something and shed fix me up. I definitely have a new stylist in Tallahassee!

As a man, I know very little about hair and Ive never had a bad experience at a Salon until I went here. The stylist didnt listen to a word I told her. She asked me why I looked concerned and I wanted to yell at her. I was ashamed to pay $20 after it was over.

I was referred to Toppers Salon by a friend and will continue to get my hair cut here as long as I am in Tallahassee. Trent (stylist) is excellent and their prices are highly competitive. It would wise to call ahead if you would like a cut by Trent.
