Saturday morning I call Cass at 10am because my main drain is clogged and sewage is backflowing into my shower. The whole system is clogged. I call Cass, Im told a plumber will be over by 5pm. 6pm comes around and the plumber still isnt there. I call Cass again, and they explain its a two hour window (of which I wasnt told). 7pm comes around and the plumber still hasnt arrived. Eventually the plumber shows up around 7:15 - 7:30. He confirms my main drain is clogged and hes going to have to clear it out from the roof vent since my drain is under my front porch. He tells me its too cold for him to get on the roof, he doesnt have a jacket and a beanie. He asks if he can come out the following morning, tells me hell be over by 8am with doughnuts for my understanding. 9am Sunday I call the plumber on his cell and ask where hes at. 10:30 the plumber shows up, without doughnuts, not wearing a jacket and the temperature is about 15 degrees cooler than it was the night before. 15 minutes later the clog is cleared and everythings great. I get slapped with a $450 bill. My friends referred me to Cass because they got the same service done for around $350. Apparently the operator failed to tell me that if a technician comes to your house after 5pm there is an additional fee. I called at 10am, I had the entire day to find another plumber, I was never told about this fee. In the end they gave me 50% off which was nice and maybe a good consolation prize to someone else but I guess Im just a jerk who likes to use his own bathroom instead of the neighbors for two days. I would have rather paid $500 to any other company if they would have shown up at a reasonable time and fixed the thing on the first go. Ill never deal with this unorganized group again.

We called Cass Plumbing who stated they could provide us with a free estimate as our hot water heater was not working. The technician, Cody, came out to the home, evaluated the system, & stated that hed "seen heaters like ours last 20 years" - ours was 12 years old. He made some repairs & said the unit was fixed. Total bill = $165.00. Great, right? NO...Within hours the "hot water" ceased to exist, totally running cold. My husband called the next day to report that the unit was still not working. A Cass representative indicated they would get out "within the next 2 days". Really? Now thats real customer service! Upon arrival 2 days later, it was determined that the "ignition switch" was non-functioning & the unit would need complete replacement. At that point, we felt the work completed 2 days prior was unnecessarily completed & asked for a refund of our money. Several calls have been made to Cass, each time the representative states someone will call us back. That was weeks ago & no one has returned our calls. I would not recommend this agency. They do not back their work & knowingly perform work they know will not resolve the problem. UPDATE: 12/21/2016 Customer Service Rep from Cass attempted to contact us ONCE; he left a message on our voicemail. We have made several attempts to return his call with no response back. Surprise, surprise! We were hopeful they would try to "make things right", as Im all about giving "positive reviews". My original review stands. Do not use this company.

I woke up one morning, turned on the shower and there was no hot water. I called Cass Plumbing in Tampa and they were at my home within 2 hours of my call. I was expecting to have to replace my water heater since it is about 8 or 9 years old. Turned out, I had a bad gas control valve and the unit was not getting any gas to the unit. Thank goodness I called an honest plumber in Tampa. Im sure many plumbers would have told me I needed a brand new water heater. Not Cass Plumbing. They were very honest and straightforward. They only fixed what needed to be fixed, and ended up saving me a lot of money. The thing I liked most about Cass Plumbing is they explained everything to me, and what caused the gas control valve to go bad. They presented me with all my options, and fixed it for me at a fair price. They also explained future potential issues with my water heater, and gave me recommendations on what to do to make it last longer, and prevent future problems from happening. I am not ready to buy a water heater yet, but when I do in a couple of years, I will definitely use Cass Plumbing. This is a really good Tampa plumber. I have already told my mother about this great Tampa plumbing company, and she has already scheduled an appointment with them next week to replace the faucets in her kitchen and 2 bathrooms. This is a class act organization. I recommend Cass Plumbing to anyone looking for a really good, trust-worthy plumber in Tampa.

From the office manager Tammy to the technician Cody, Cass Plumbing was top notch! We found them through Home Advisor, and were so glad we did! Tammy got us an immediate appointment. Cody arrived on time and was exceptionally polite and professional, but most importantly, he installed our 2 new bathroom faucets perfectly; this included replacing what turned out to be an old rusted out trap that was on the verge of leaking, which required going back to the shop for the right size trap--all of which was already covered in the cost of the job--at no extra charge. He also completed an unexpected toilet repair for a very minimal fee. Cass also offers a free membership that immediately gave us 20% off on the spot on everything that Cody did and any future jobs forever! Great service, Cass!

If you need plumbing services of any kind, HIRE CASS PLUMBING! Bathroom remodel (we decided to reconfigure - changing a bathtub to a walk-in shower). We got several quotes - Cass Plumbing came in the lowest. We did our research and hired Cass. We were able to do the demo ourselves; hired Cass to restructure, install shower pan and fixtures. All the fixtures I chose are square.. One of the Cass technicians (Wayne) ran out in the middle of the job to get me a square drain to match our fixtures! Who does that anymore? Wayne and Trevor really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The work was done in a timely fashion, they presented themselves professionally, and most important - THEY DID FANTASTIC WORK. Do yourself a huge favor - hire Cass Plumbing!

A small leak opened up from the second floor to the first floor. Unaware on why this occurred and entering panic mode, my wife and I called Cass Plumbing. We read reviews on how great the customer service and competitive pricing were for Cass. When Robbie arrived, he immediately took action and investigated where the leak may be coming from. Upon discovering the cause, Robbie told my wife and I what would need to be done in order to fix the situation. We not only had him repair the bathroom with the issue, he fixed the other bathroom, as well, since the cost was very affordable. Robbie was very attentive and helpful. Great communicator. I would highly recommend anyone to trust Cass Plumbing, and if possible, request Robbie.
