Absolute worst experience ever. Movers (B&L Labor Services) were scheduled to arrive between 1:30 & 3:30. I spoke with the "Project Manager" (Lewis) who told me they would be there around 4:00 since they were running behind. Originally was supposed to be another team but they ran behind too, so Lewis team was supposed to come out. 4;00 comes and goes, no movers. He texted me shortly after to tell me now he wouldnt be there until 5:20. I called ELM to inquire why they are running so far behind. ELM assured me Lewis team would be there by 5:20. 5:20 came and went. I texted Lewis at 5:23 with no response. Called him at 5:31, no answer. Called ELM again who werent any help. Finally got a text at 5:38 that said the movers would be there in 4 minutes. 5:45 two movers finally showed up with no equipment (dollies or tools), as promised by ELM. Also, I had booked and paid for 3 movers, not two. The guys that showed up said Lewis told them there was just one 26 truck and that I was providing the dollies. Never once did I tell anyone I was providing any equipment. I also had told them when I booked there was going to be 1 completely full 26 truck and another half full. An ELM rep (Ben) confirmed that was the case. The guys that showed up were father and son and the son clearly had never helped move before. What should have taken 3 experienced movers (which I was promised by ELM) at most 4 hours took 6.5 hours. This was in large part because they insisted on putting everything in the garage and then only moving it when I told them to. The movers also took breaks, literally every 15 minutes. I watched them get up from break, bring one, maybe two, boxes to the garage, carry my solid oak cedar chest to the front steps and leave it there on the wet ground and they went and sat down in the back of the moving truck. They also brought a couch, that really isnt that heavy, left it in my foyer and went on another break. My wife and I ended up moving it to the Living Room. The movers moved all of the boxes in to the house instead of unloading the furniture first. What this caused was an absolute mess in the house as there was no room to easily bring in the furniture. The guys didnt help put anything together, again as promised by ELM, and we were left with cluttered rooms and my entire family was stuck sleeping on the floor. I was also left with numerous hand prints on my walls, as well as gashes in the walls, and the movers took the protective plastic off of my mattress and got their sweat all over it as they moved it. The moving company did take some off the bill, but nowhere near enough to fix the damage to the walls, compensate for the fact that myself and my wife had to help the movers, or for the aggravation. When I called ELM to complain, there response was something to the effect of, "you hired the movers to do a job, they did it, so you need to pay them." Wrong, ELM hired them, not me. My agreement was with ELM. Clearly they do not care about their customers. I paid my bill and will move on, lesson learned. I will make sure everyone I know knows to never use either of these companies. I would easily pay triple the original price I was quoted simply to avoid dealing with them.

This is the first time we decided to have someone pack us up and load our things into a van. Unfortunately, it was a poor experience and we had to unload and reload the truck plus finish packing our apartment. I do not put that totally on Elite Moving but how it was handled was disappointing. At first, they were very pro-active and even called to have a conversation around what happened. We both agreed this should be fixed and then things went dark. They then sent an automated email out saying I need to work directly with the moving company they booked and that was again something we had already discussed in detail over the phone. As a third party vendor, its important to pick the right vendors and right any wrongs. We felt on the front of this move...that was very poor. The team that moved us in was great and no complaints there. Would not use a third party like this again though.

They were schedule to be at our place between 3:30 and 5:30. They did not get there until past EIGHT! It was dark, the movement of things was very slow. They were so unprepared in the dark of 10:45 at night, that they obviously charged us more for time. Me and my two kids had to go sleep at a hotel because we did not have beds to sleep on until after 10:00 at night. WORST MOVING SERVICE EVER!!! Not even a discount, we had to sleep in a hotel, dont ever hire these people. Ever. I understand that things go wrong, but being 6 HOURS late, is absurd, having movers until 11:00 at night is absurd, and not rectifying it in any way monetarily is horrible. For the price they charge, go ANYWHERE else. You will get better service at a better price. They make no effort to discount anything. Terrible terrible. Dont ever use these people ever! I only wish I could rate them at 0 stars instead of 1.

Instead of calling to get the best rate from local movers, I used Elite Moving Labor. They promised three experienced movers. I thought this would be better than getting college students from a local place. I got two professional movers, the most experienced had three years. I also got a high school graduate working til college started. This was his first job. I would take the time to call local moving companies because the "experience they guarantee" is not guaranteed. Elite also told me it would take 3-4 hours and it took nine hours for a three bedroom house. Do NOT believe their estimates.

I will never even book this horrible company again. And hopefully no one does. Giving them 2 weeks notice still charging me $50 cancellation fee even though when I spoke to someone on the phone that was never mentioned. They are a scamming company and will never do business with them ever. They are the only company I know, in this recent moving Im doing, that charges you a cancellation fee 2 weeks a head of time. But obviously they are scammers and thats what they want. Garbage company. DONT USE THEM

I used Elite Moving Services to pack my pod in Seattle for a move to Palm Desert. They packers were the best - they managed to fill that pod with everything we had; they did it quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone who is moving. When we unpacked, everything was in tip-top condition. Dont hesitate - use Elite Moving!
