FIRST OFF!!! I WOULD LIKE TO START THIS REVIEW BY " SAYING" DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! When I called this company "Jet Stream Moving". I explained in detail of all the items in which were being moved and I was given a quote that would be no more than $289.00 and for this reason Im writing this review. When the movers finally showed up " two hours late"........ they had the audacity to tell me that there was no possible way that they would move my property for $289.00 even after I showed them the quote that I received from the sales rep. Thats when they began to tell me that each and every item had to be wrapped for insurance purposes. Well, dont you think the sales rep that sells the jobs would know this and already have that included in the charges with the quote.... Absolutely unbelievable that he would even think to insult my intelligence, but moving on.... So when I contacted the office, I asked to speak to a manager, when she got on the phone, she proceeded to tell me that these changes are just part of the process and that there was nothing I could do about it due to my being under contract. So a bill that was said not to rise above $289.00 now is just breaking $800.00. and may I remind you, the mover screwed up when having me sign the contract which it was now residing in my pocket... To make a long story short, after it was all said and done, I got off the phone with the manager and told them that I would not be using there services due to the fact that they were liars and thieves. I refuse to do business with people that have no respect or care for their customers... so, when I told them this, they said that because of my cancellation, there was a fee, and get this... he said that the cancellation fee was $550.00 HA!!! I said that he was out of his mind and I wasnt paying a dime. I then told him that we had no ties because you are no longer in possession of the said contract that supposedly claimed that I was pretty much owned by them. Now once he was aware that I was in possession of the contract, things started to escalate. Now theres a police report and an incarceration with charges to be filed... yes,,, they came after me and assaulted me. Went in to my pockets after I was unconscious and took back the document... So once again ladies and gentlemen, Please do not use this company. ITS A SCAM!!! They will take your money and put you in a position to take more... thank you for taking the time out to read this. I hope this message reaches each and every person that plans to use this company, for I would hate to see anyone go through the things that I now have to deal with ....

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM!! The salesperson contacted me and he was very slick on the phone. I told him in detail what I had in every room and he said the move would take "4 hrs tops with 2 men and if the time went over it was a set price. HE LIED! I was verbally guaranteed a price of $350 and a $150 deposit that would go towards the balance of the $350. The movers got to my home (late) and told me they needed to wrap every little thing due to "insurance" and tried to warn me the company would charge more than what I was guaranteed but at the time I did not understand his warning to me. I helped the entire time to move the men along. When we got to my new home the mover said "I needed to pay Jet Stream almost $800 more dollars on my credit card or he would take all my belongings with him! I was shocked and in tears when I called the owner. It was also raining heavily and I asked the movers to stop until the rain subsided. They told me they were told by their boss to continue or I would be paying for them their time further. I called the owenr and she was the rudest businness person I have ever talked to. She basically admitted I had been scammed and that I signed the paperwork so tough luck.I asked to speak to my slick lying sales person and I asked him how he sleeps at night..he responded "very well". Never in my life has a company taken such advantage of me. Please do not use this company. They are a scam. I do not understand how any of this was lawful. Terrible awful company with lying sales people and a money stealing business owner!!

This company uses bait and switch tactics to get you to book your move. They give you a quote and time estimate over the phone, then the day they arrive they "realize" that it will take longer than they thought and leave you paying $140 or more over your quote, and if you want to cancel its over $500 to do so. They offer free 30 day storage if you use their services, but when you try to retrieve your items on your own, they tell you that your arent allowed and you must pay them for delivery although the contract doesnt state you have to use them to redeliver your items. The only thing it states is that they charge a separate fee for re-delivery. I paid over $420 for them to move my 7 boxes, mattress & box spring, unassembled dresser and nighstand, side table, 2 barstools and 1 large bag into their storage. They are now stating if I exceed the free 30 day limit, then I will have to pay the monthly storage fee of $125. I have attempted to retrieve my items before the time period is up, but they will not allow me access to get my belongings, although I currently owe them nothing. I understand that an estimate is just that, an estimate. Therefore, while I was displeased with having to pay $425 after initially being quoted $289 when I paid my deposit, I paid it. What I do not like, is being backed into a corner to pay another $400 to a dishonest company.

They shouldnt be in moving business big scams .they ll try so hard to make sing their e contract and take deposit in advance which itsnt refundable . There sales people very slick (Jayden ) make me believe that u r getting a good deal but thing change on the due date . They want to charge me double for what sale man Jayden that we agree in phone since we went everything that I have included the distance .funny business when I was chocked with the price that driver and his helper give me they offer me discount ;-) that they would do it half price . Meaning that I ll need to cancel the move with his company (jet stream...) and all I need to do get me rental truck uhall. Long story short stay far from them they have no problem to take your money .

Our move from Tampa to Boca went perfectly. They showed up as promised, loaded and delivered on time. The men were efficient and very nice. I certainly would recommend them. Peter Silverman
