Absolutely horrible. The owner, Robert Mcalister, is as unprofessional as they come. Jag key breaks and the car is stranded on MacDill AFB. Called these guys and they agree to come on base the next day to fix the key and reprogram it. They knew it was on base and agreed to come help us. The first quote was $200 but the next day it was $250. The "dispatcher" then warns us that "Robert" would be the technician and that he has little patience. Basically warning us he is a jerk. And Robert is the owner of the company. It was agreed to meet at the Visitors Center and my wife would get into his van and show her ID at the gate which is usually good enough. But apparently commercial vehicles have to go to the visitor center and Robert was directed to the Visitor Center. He lost his ever loving mind. Starting ranting and raving about how he didnt have time for this, he makes too much money, he makes $1000 a day, and using profanity every other word in front of the her. He refuses to take my wife back to the Visitor Center so she can at least get to the car she used to get there so she had to get out at the main gate and walk back to the visitor center. He is lucky this was not me he did this too. He is a compete jerk and unprofessional buffoon. DO NOT LET THIS JERK ANYWHERE NEAR YOU.

I am a locksmith with another company. On Friday morning Nov. 2, 2012, a man from Lock Geeks put in a bogus service call to our company to make keys on a van at an address that was about 12 miles from our business at a bad address. I called back to verify the address and a girl answered the phone and said Locksmith Services. I asked her about the address and she told me she had a bad connection and I needed to hold on, then she hung up on me. I called back several times and only got the voicemail of someone named Ricky. I paid a fee to a company to find out who the phone was registered to and the report said Lock Geeks. This call did not affect my boss in any way, except wasting the companys time. He has plenty of professional drivers to run his calls. I on the other hand get paid by the work I do, so it only affected my paycheck. I would hope that is only one bad egg in this company, but I will call them tomorrow to find out. I do know that most professional locksmith companies have an actual business address with an actual shop to help customers, not cross-streets at major intersections in various counties. The 2 spots marked on the map in my county have no locksmith shops at those locations.

Horrible job. I took my car to them so they could duplicate a key and my car was perfectly fine when I got there. I give them my key so they could do the job they said they could do and 10 minutes later they come back and tell me you are all set and then the guy takes another 5 minutes to charge me ( Ill be checking for issues with that too since the guy didnt look like he knew what he was doing) I go to leave and try out my new key and the car wont start and its making a horrible noise, of course the y guy tells me that it had nothing to do with what he did and that my battery is messed up or my alternator but again my car was perfectly fine before I went there and If you dont know how a car works you should never work on them and no matter how condicending the guy sounds when hes talking to you about your car he has no idea what hes talking about. They may have a deal on keys but the work shows why its so cheap. There where more issues including the guys attitude but Ive already wasted enough of my time on this horrible shop.

We bought a key from Lock Geeks and a few months later the key just stopped working. I called and talked to Robert. On the phone he told me my key most likely was no longer under warranty but for me to go into his store with my receipt and he would look at the key. I went in preparing to argue with him about my key but i was met with a very nice and courteous man. He looked at my key and tried many different things to get it to work. He asked if I had dropped it in water to which i responded "no". To my surprise I didnt have to plead my case for a new key. Robert said he would give me another key at no cost to me. I had my 3 kids with me and what could have been a very stressful experience ended up being just the opposite. Robert was super nice and had us out of the shop with a new key in no time. I highly recommend Lock Geeks and I would definitely go to them again.

althought it was a fast service (at home) i was never given an invoice as they claim they will mail it, but i had to pay it cash when the service was completed finally one month later i succed to get the invoice the invoice do not describe the items sold and six weks after the purchase they dont have to honor any claim as i have no proff thay sold it to me, my only prouve is that i paid them no make things worst, the address they provide is not real is a mail box, and the DBA they claim to have is cancelled they hide behind a cell phone i feel i was scamed althought they claim they will give a full refund they do not release their address, they request to send the remotes and ask me to hope they will send the check why the DBA was canceled? why do do not release their address to the shop? why do they hind behind cell phones and mail boxex?

It was late night over the weekend and I was locked out of my vehicle with the family. After waiting hours for other locksmiths to show up (supposedly 15 minutes away the whole time), in desperation I called The Lock Geeks. I was immediately given a surprisingly fair quote and the technician was working on my car within 15 minutes of my call. The guys are professional and extremely good at their job. I cant say enough good things about the staff. And if that wasnt enough, my end charge was less than the quote and Rob even fixed a couple of burned out fuses in my vehicle!!! The other guys were going to charge me almost three times as much!

I called Plus Locksmith of Tampa to make a key for my Jeep. They told me it would be about $90 but when they came they gave me a sob story bla bla bal and wanted to charge me $245. Sent them packing. I went in and called Lock Geeks and they said they would do it for $130. They came out, made 2 keys in 10 minutes and were gone. The guy new what he was talking about, spoke good English, was clean and professional. His vehicle was a late model minivan, clean inside and out with a professional and sophisticated looking locksmith shop inside. I was impressed. I recommend them highly. Franko Triscitti
