Wow, what AMAZING customer service and people at Metro Self-Storage. I have been a customer at the 17231 Dona Michelle Dr, Tampa location for a number of years. Kim, the location Manager, and Gordy, the District Manager are outstanding and wonderful people. They treat each customer with kindness, courtesy, and respect. The location and units are well kept and clean. The surrounding grounds are also well maintained. If you are looking for a storage company that has it all, then look no further than the Dona Michelle location. Kim, Gordy, and the rest of the Metro Self-Storage staff will make sure that you have a pleasant experience. Thank you for all that you do!

Perhaps what I experienced might be true of all self storage facilities. I hope not. First,Kim was great to deal with, and understanding. My issue is raising the rental rate over 50 dollars in 5 months! I was informed rates could go up a few dollars in a year. The Manager was very polite, but the response to take 10 dollars off, and you have plenty of time to move if you wish was flippant. I now either pay a much higher rate, or pay 300 dollars to move--not an easy task. They should have at least honored what was stated for a least a year.

This place is amazing! Today I was in need of a storage unit ASAP but closing was at the same time I got off work. Instead of sending me somewhere else the manager John, offered to stay after hours to set me up with a unit. He doesnt know how much of a headache he avoided me. Definetly take your business here if you are in need of a storage unit.

The service was friendly however my rent was raised by $70 after being there for four months. This caused me more stress and expenses to have to move AGAIN after such a short time period. This was a HUGE disservice to me as a client and for that reason I will never use your service nor recommend your service to anyone.

PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!! DONT STORE WITH THEM, THEY WILL RAISE YOUR RENT ANY TIME THEY FEEL LIKE IT. THEY AVE RASIED MY RENT UP BY $40.00 PER. MONTH IN LESS THEN A YEAR. BUNCH OF THIEVES... DONT STORE YOUR ITEAMS WITH THEM OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF

The manager was great, showed me a couple units so I could decide on the right size I needed and stayed late to help me get the paperwork done. I always pay the same price every month. I would definitely recommend this location.
