I arrived in mid-April, limping along in my 2000 Mustang Convertible, which had "blown" a clutch bearing not long after leaving Jacksonville, Florida. I was on vacation with my wife - a special event - and the time was precious to her since she works real hard at her job. I knew it was a bearing - I suspected the "throw-out" bearing (an annular ball brng) - and being a master mechanic myself, I managed to nurse it across Florida, despite the bad clutch, to the hotel where wed previously registered near this shop. "Where should we go?". My wife & I had discussed it on the way in. This was an emergency job, and since I was an out-of-towner, and it was doing delicate mission critical work (as a clutch job on a Ford Mustang is), I didnt want to get ripped off by some local shop who would know I would be leaving and therefore wouldnt be worried about the quality of their work and care. So we decided to go with Midas. Since it was a chain and we have a Midas at home, I knew if there was a problem under warranty I could get the work done, if required, on the tail end of this thing. But I NEEDED this car NOW and definitely had to have it done by the end of the workweek - a scant 5 days away. That would definitely be pushing it for most any shop, especially a local one. So I gave Midas a call - this one. James (owner? shop lead? Manager? He seems to do it all) answered, and had a tow truck out to my hotel within the half hour. We rented another Mustang Convertible, a 2016 - nice power, but I missed my retro design 2000 model - and waited. I was biting my thumbs . . . James had promised that he could take care of it in 48 hours - outstanding! - but he called the next day and told me what I had kind of suspected: Ford, being what it is, and this Mustang, being what IT is (and older, retro-model edition, much like the 60s versions) - had a special flywheel (exterior balance vs. interior engine/crankshaft balanced) - because its a "performance car". I am good with that, and was very surprised he had gotten on it so quickly. It would take 3 days to get it in, but he reassured me it would get done by the time I had to leave on Friday. (I had arrived on Monday.) Sure enough - come Thursday afternoon he called. All was done if I wanted to pick it up, but now loving the new power in the 2016 Stang, I put it off another day, plus we had rented it, anyhow. So I went in the next day (Friday, on the deadline) and James - always friendly, and with a big smile! - delivered my Stang in perfect condition, clean, AND for a good price despite it being a rush emergency job. He & his crew did a good job and treated me excellently. Highly recommended. Now: why did I wait so long to write this review? I wanted to give this repair job its FULL warranty period, and it has passed, and Jamess crew & work has passed, all stars and no problems. Here 9 months later the machine is still in perfect condition, no issues with the clutch & work, and they gave me back my car clean, and in great condition. Thumbs up - all of them. Thanks for the great work, and work that lasted, and is still going strong. :-)

This is the second time I have brought my vehicle to this Midas location and will continue to bring it here as long as Marcus is the owner. He is so friendly and pleasant to work with and goes above and beyond on customer service. Last time I brought my vehicle in he stayed past closing time for me to come pick up my car when I was running late in traffic as well as giving me a discount from my Midas VIP card even though it had expired some time ago. This time he not only discounted me on some labor costs (as he had to try a few things to figure out what the underlying cause of the issue was) he also replaced all my brake lights and my rear windshield wiper free of cost without me even asking about them. It is so hard to find a quality, trustworthy shop to bring your car to and I am so glad I found this one. Would highly recommend!

I have been taking my Jeep Cherokee here for 3 years now for all of my routine maintenance and they have always been honest, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Recently I went in for a 100,000 mile maintenance and they were very comprehensive in explaining my options. I elected to do the maximum work but could have gotten away with less per their advice but wanted to get it all done at one time. They even reduced or eliminated some of the labor amount on certain work due to the fact that they were already in that area of the vehicle working on something else and didnt want to overcharge. I have never been upsold on even the basic items. They deinitely stand out in my book! Good work guys-

they dont go the extra mile to get the job done and refuse to work on modified cars. i tried to get an alignment here, they said they cant align lowered cars...but my car isnt lowered. they said they couldnt get my car on the rack. They wouldnt do the extra work to get the car on the rack (it can go). The person I spoke to didnt know what a front lip is. If you work on cars for a living and dont know what a lip is, youre either incompetent or a moron. Take your pick. then they said they can only align a car to factory specs and couldnt align to my custom specs anyway. so I went elsewhere to find a competent shop to do my alignment.

Simply superb. Possibly the best customer service we have had in the entire US on our 6 month road trip. We are out-of-towners and sometimes feel like we are being ripped off. Not here. From the moment we arrived the entire team were friendly, professional and honest. They made suggestions but didnt push for work that could be done. They took the time to show us the parts that needed replacing and explaining the issues in laymans terms. And then were persistent in finding the solution to a pesky noise that just wouldnt go away. Got an issue with your car? Dont go anywhere else. Thanks team! Phil and Katrina

Never again. Horrible horrible horrible. Went in because I needed to fix my oil leak, got charged 700$ . Never got the leak fixed and took my car back 4 times after they claimed they fixed the motor leak (which was not actually fixed) they said that in the price the transmission leak wasnt included I found that so unbelievable. Im just shaking my head thinking about it....... Went to a local mechanic for the same price actualy got my oil leak fixed..... A job that should have been one time pay of 700. Came out costing double all because I went here..... Do not recommend, stay away.......

A big thank you to Bob and Larry for staying late to make sure I was safe! I called 15 mins before they were closing with a question about grinding brakes. I was told to come on in. Once I arrived they checked the brakes and they were a HOT MESS! I felt comfortable with the explanation and NON-SCARE tactics. I was told what was wrong and what it was going to cost to correct, then was told what I should get done right away and what could wait. They took care of my truck as soon as the parts arrived. It drove like a dream on the way home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Thanks Guys!
