I reported that the aircon doors were not being activated properly and the cruise control was not workind and added that as it was an old van there was probably a bad plastic vacuum hose or vacuum motor bad. They called a week later and said the intake manifold "was not holding a vacuum" Actually there is only a vacuum when the motor is running but they insisted that the intake manifold gasket must be changed. Three weeks later, after I called for status reports several times they said the intake manifold was full of carbon and dirt and needed to be replaced. I went up to have a look and they had pried the splash plate up to see the carbon inside. I knew this was normal and complained and took the manifold to have it hot tanked and cleaned. Napa cleaned it and put the deflector back in new condition for 40.00 which is very good and it looked like new again. It took two months for Ice Cold to finish and they called me. I asked if they took it for a test drive and the manager said yes and the ac doors and cruise control working fine.... lie~! I took the van for a drive. Cruise control and speedo not working. I found the speedo cable had not been put back on so I put it on myself. So I know there was not test drive to confirm it was working. AC doors still not working when changing from floor to regular AC to defrost. Another lie. The idle is now a bit rough... perhaps from the new manifold gasket as the advance was set up with a small vacuum leak. The bill about 800.00 for nothing. This used to be a good shop when Jeff was running it but now all employees are changed so its a new operation but I think the same owner who has another Ice Cold Air. Got a call from a lady asking how the service was. I told her as above and she said the owner would call and talk to me. Lady owner apparently. Never received a call 10 days later. Needless to say I cant go back there again. Apparently she owns Two Ice Cold Air facilities in Tampa. I wonder what happened to Jeff? All was ok when he was there and I used the shop for seveal years for all my AC needs on both vehicles.

Dont trust them. I had to bring my car back to them 4 times & they never fixed my AC. The first time I brought it to them, they said it needed a compressor which cost me $900. A few days later I had to bring it back again. They claimed a line got pinched & reinstalled the compressor again. A couple weeks later Im back again, same problem. This time I asked them specifically to check the air mix motor, which had problems before. They call me back saying the compressor isnt fitting properly and I need to upgrade to a better one for another $150! Why didnt you put in the correct fit the FIRST TIME? I was promised they would thoroughly test this one and told its blowing ice cold now. Wrong! A couple weeks later its blowing lukewarm again. I told them I wanted a refund and they said they would but I had to give them back the compressor! Excuse me!? I brought you my car with a compressor, you do a botched repair and now I have to get a compressor somewhere else? The manager paid for a rental car and said they wanted to take some time with my car @ another location. They only kept it 2 days and said it was fixed again. This time they couldnt even tell me what they did. Just said they fixed "some seals" When I asked for a report, they never gave me one. Needless to say, whatever they did or didnt do only lasted a few days again. I went to the Honda dealer who found the air mix motor was the problem. This is a $300 repair that ICE COLD AIR tried to get an $1100 compressor out of it!!!!!! I had asked them to look at the air mix motor the second time I brought it back and by the 4th time it still wasnt fixed. If you ask me, they didnt diagnose it properly and they tried to get a more expensive job rather than the right fix that was cheaper. They wasted so much of my time & money & made my summer miserable in a hot car. I filed a dispute with my bank and got all my money back.

Ive been meaning to post a review since May. My car hasnt run the same since it was "serviced" at this location. First, I was told what the issue and given a quote which I approved. Second, I was called stating I needed a battery and there was an addition $200 charge, I advised I had a warranty and I would take it back. Finally, I pick up my car and its running like its going to die, they tell me I need to just swap my battery out. I go directly to auto zone and get a new battery. My car is still running like its going to die. I go right back to Ice Cold Air. The guy tells me to drive it for a day, it may need to get blown out because of the service it received (a tune up and replaced 4 coils). The next day was and upcoming holiday weekend, I called and advised my car still wasnt running correctly, and I would bring it in after the holiday. So the following weekend I return (also my check engine light never goes off). They guys says theyll preform a "free" diagnosis test. A few hours later , he calls and tells me I need to replace 2 more coils. I have to question why? Because before I left I asked was everything good, is it possible more coils could go bad. I was told NO. Now I feel like I gave away $596. So please please get a second opinion before going to this place or opt to pay more money at another business where they will honor they work that should have been done.

I was a long time customer to Gary (previous owner of this franschise location) and was very happy - I referred several people to Gary and team. Very honest and high integrity always. HOWEVER, Gary is gone, new ownership and with my very first experience with the new team was horrific. Short version, my complaint/issue with the vehicle was stated very clearly. I was told over the phone befoer I went to pick up the vehicle "it is blowing cold air". When I picked up the vehicle (paying almost 400.00), the vechicle was in the exact same condition as it was before I took it in - blowing nothing but HOT AIR! I immediatley called to speak to the owner to discuss this and NEVER recevied a call back. After emailing the corporate offices, I finally got a call back -weeks after leaving the original message. Needless to say, I went to another mechanic, the issue resolved and it was NOT the issue that was diagnosed and resolved by ICE COLD AIR. It was a different issue, costing LESS than the original charges by ICE COLD AIR, and IT IS FIXED !!!! Maybe this was a one off situation, but I felt compelled to share my experience as a heads-up, you make the call.
