***Update*** Immediately after having the radiator replaced. My 4runners starter started giving me problems and I strongly believe the guy that work on the radiator did something to the starter while it was in the shop for so long waiting on the replacement radiator. I wont be going back...***end update***...I dont normally do these but Ive been to this location three times now for my older vehicles and this last time the radiator in my 4runner was bad but under warranty with Advance Auto (online order 10 months ago). The local Advance Auto would NOT bring the new one to the location since it was an online order and did not trust I was who I said I was... so the owner gave me the keys to his own personal vehicle (since mine was in the shop undriveable) to go pick up the new radiator. I was shocked at first but I had met his wife on my previous visits and she had the same good hearted mentality as well....so I realized he had to be similar. I can honestly say all three of my experiences at this location has been on the up and up...you may have to wait a bit if they are busy but they will do right by you and that is all that counts (at least for me.

About three weeks ago my car started making a weird sound underneath the passenger side. It sounded like I was dragging metal underneath. I took my car to Ice Cold Air on Sligh and 275 since I had a relationship and history with the place. I asked for an oil change and for the sound to be fixed. They tried to upsell me on other items that I "needed" and didnt fix the sound. A friend suggested I go to Meineke on Sligh and Dale Mabry and I found the time to stop in without an appointment. The gentleman inspected my car and within 10 minutes located the problem and fixed the problem. It was a simple bend in my heat shield. He then explained that the last place to do my oil change forgot to include a clip, so he zip-tied what needed to be secured. He charged me nothing, and explained the fix was easy! I will definitely be returning for all my car needs in the future and I will no longer provide Ice Cold Air with my business.

I love coming here. John and Sheila take really good care of me and my car. We only have one car to our family and I often have my young children in their waiting room. They have things for them to do while we wait. When they work on my car I know that Im going to get great service. I also like it when they take me out, show, and explain to me what is wrong with my car. They want you to know what is going on with your car. Our one and only car is our life line and they make sure itll last a lifetime. And they are always reasonable on their prices. As long as we live in Tampa Ill be driving the 13 miles through Tampa to get to them just because of the way they treat me, my family, my car, and my wallet.

Took forever to even get help. Reception only helped her friends and wouldnt help me. Needed an inspection for insurance so I had to be here. Also, slow service. A 15 minute inspection took an hour and a half (they only do inspections starting at 9am M-F I got there at 9 and left at 1030). Waste of time. These good reviews were why I came here but my experience was anything but good. By the time they were done the receptionist gave me a fake smile. When I got back in my car there was a smell of cigarettes. I do not smoke! I never recommend anyone go here unless you already know the people who work here. They seem to be the only kind of people they help.

Two years ago I brought my Infiniti in for an oil change and now I bring my car here for everything. They are very professional, courteous and provide great services. The mechanics are very thorough and the owner, John, always answers any questions I have. Recently my car stopped on the highway in Orlando and instead of trusting any other place, I used my AAA to have my car towed back to Tampa to Meineke. John and his team found the problem and quickly repaired my car. I highly recommend them. They are reputable and wont tell you that you need work that isnt necessary like other places do.

I actually give this place no star , but you have to put a star in order to write a review , I went to this shop on a friday early morning , needed the guy working there that day to weld a muffler for me , now Im a mechanic myself but dont have the machine to weld , the guy at the shop in his own words told me " I can charge you $150 but its not going to come out right ". How do you tell a costumer its not going to come out right and Im telling you how to do it , I went to another muffler shop and they did a perfect job without me telling them what to do.

Ive been taking my car to these guys for years and have always had a great experience. Its too bad I live so far away now that its harder to take my car there in an emergency, but I would if I could. Like any car repair shop, it takes time. But unlike other car repair shops that will feed you flowers up front and not deliver, the staff here is honest, communicative, and fair. Ive never once felt ripped off by John and his son, and I recommend anyone to take their car here.

I brought my Toyota Corolla in to have the brakes redone, and I was really pleased with both the speed and quality of service. Everyone was very friendly, they explained everything to me, it only took about an hour, and when it was all said and done I ended up spending half as much money as my boyfriend who got his brakes done at Just Brakes. I normally dont post reviews but I would definitely recommend this location!

Came in one day for an oil change I had scheduled online and the gentleman at the counter seemed very annoyed that I had done that. It made me feel uncomfortable because as a patron it is not my fault that they servicemen do not like the online scheduling function but it was convenient and available so I made my appointment online. Otherwise the service was fairly quick since I had the appointment.

took the car for a break job and the guy stripped damaged my axle while puting it back, rookie mistake that I ended up paying for it, bad service, the lady at front desk is rude. they wont take my American express, with no signs anywhere of what kind of payments they take. will not take the car there ever again

Needed some exhaust work done on my truck and I heard this was the place to go. I was worried that it was chain and might not get a great deal, but I was wrong. They gave me a fair deal and the results were outstanding. I have other plans for my truck and theyve earned my business for sure!
